Worked with my schedule. Listen to my requests and cleaned up after the job to satisfy a rather finicky customer. Will use them again.

They came, they looked, said they'd call or email an estimate. Never received one.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was okay. I used them a month after I purchased the deal. There was an additional charge. The work was good quality. They took forever to get back to me but once they did the job, it was fine.

The man called an hour before the appoinent. He arrived on tme ready to begin. He finished on time and left the area clean. I will use the provider agin.

Latch doesn't work, he left in a hurry and didn't check. When I called him he said the latch was no good? Unprofessional, now I need to go buy a new latch and fix it myself!

Worker did and excellent job, exactly what I asked him to do. He used my equipment and sandpaper. He was very pleasant and wanted to please me. I was very satisfied the the work he did.

It was OK. I had no problems scheduling with them. They did a good job.

The man who came out was fine. He was professional. He came out and got the job done. He had the equipment needed for the job and his responsiveness was fine. I wanted to use him again this fall but he is out of business.

It went pretty well. I think that it was worth it, he did a good job. They did everything that I asked them to do, so I was not dissatisfied. I would use them again.

Never showed up. No contact. Have I been charged? Some special!!!

Provider established origin of leaks, and determined that there was no damage. Provider recommended replacement of window and provided bid for same. I requested that window replacement should include replacement of entire window, including flashing. Provider didn't get back to me with whether they could do this, and what the price would be. They didn't seem to be very knowledgeable about window replacement, and I felt that the work they had already done represented the limit of their experience and competence. I decided to hire a contractor specializing in window replacement, and I was happy with the result. So, I would recommend provider, but only for simple projects like this one.

orst experience I've had with a trade person. I bought the $99.00 Special but did not use it right away, when I did call the receptionist, Allison, was extremely unprofessional. She had no idea who Angie's List was or knowledge of the $99.00 special. When I offered my confirmation # and the order # , she replied I'm new and have no idea where to put the #, then proceeded to ask me my name 3 more times. She did, however, apologize for sounding wired. At the end of the conversation she assured me someone would call me back, no one ever did. A few days later I called back and spoke with Allison again it was pretty much a repeat of the first conversation although she did seem to be more familiar with Angie's List and the Special. Again she assured me some one would call me back, no one called me back. I called Customer Service at Angies List, told them my story and they offered to call on my be half, 2days later I got a call from Allison. She wanted to arrange a date for the work to be done, I asked her if some one could come look at the job or call so that I would know what to expect and what parts to buy, she said some one would call me, no one every did. I should have given up at this point. A week later I got a message from Allison, when I returned the call a man answered the phone, said they were closed and asked me how was doing I. I told him I was returning Allison's call and that I was very upset. I explained the situation and that I was waiting for some one to call me so that I knew what parts to buy, he replied you should know what is needed for your job when I replied that I want to know what is involved and that it was his job to tell me what was needed, he then asked what was the job, that I could go to Home Depot and buy the parts, if he came out to see the job he was not coming back. If it took longer then the 3hrs it would be $65.00 per hr to complete the work and that I should read the terms on my coupon, if I was not happy with that I could get a refund. Which is exactly what I intend to do. DON'T Waist your time with this company.

Today I placed a call to Mr. Fix it himself about 10:00 am and left my phone numbers, etc with the lady who answered the phone. She explained the Mr. was out on a job but she would see he got the message and my phone numbers. He did not respond today.

Highlights 1. The person arrived early, which was fine. 2. He did not bring the tools that I had requested when I made the appointment. 3. The man performed a couple of tasks with a good attitude. 4. When I asked the handyman to install a grab bar in the shower, I wish that he had told me that he did not have the appropriate tools to be able to drill through thick tile. Instead, when I went to check on him, he was upset because he damaged a couple of drill bits and threw them on the floor. That's when I asked him to leave. He made an attempt to clean up the tile dust by pouring it down the bathroom sink drain (ouch). I told him to stop and to please leave. ***Again: the company did offer to make things right. If you choose to use this company (or any handyman company), it would be a good idea to contact them before the day of service to confirm 2 things: 1) that any non-standard tools that are needed will be brought to your home, and 2) that the person who will be servicing you has the necessary skills.

I hired Mr Fix it Handyman Services and Construction to work on a custom project that needed to be finished. It was a dry rot repair on a permanent decorative part of the wall. He made a new shelf in a decorative way. Similar to custom cabinetry but on the outside of the house. It took a lot of skill even though it was rocky at times I would say it turned out well. I purchased a big deal for 3 hours but it ended up taking over 8 hours. The result was fantastic, Dwight was honest he had very good intentions. He went out of his way to make me happy, he was very knowledgeable. The work was really good, but could use a little improvement on the paperwork and communication side.

The work very good. Dale the tile person came on the 3rd day was told he would come on 1st I had to constantly go to Home Depot

It was really kind of sloppy from the start. The owner of the company, Carlyle Garrick, came out and said they could do the work and gave us a bid. He mis-diagnosed the whole thing. The first to come were the electricians. They started to move the boxes back a few inches. Then a co worker of his came over after and suggested we just need to add dry wall so everything matches up. So after they did all of that work, they just had to come back and redo the work. They had to come out 3 times because the placement was wrong. The texturizing they did was a good job, and the dry wall was good, but when we needed someone to add on the trim, the errors just started to roll in. The guy that came out knew very little English. They made the trim way to wide, by maybe 3in. They had to cut into the trim so they could put the wall plate on. The guy was probably just following orders, but he normally just does tile work, but had no idea how to do trim. A man named Dwight came out, he was a great worker, he gave us great advice and help. I think Carlyle just calls on random people to give services he doesn't have a real staff. Dwight spent quiet some time trying to cut the trim but he didn't have the right saw to cut it, so it took awhile to make the molding fit into the wall. My wife and I were wanting some folding covered doors, but after we got so fed up we just hired someone else. The kicker is, a dry wall worker left us a note on our front door that he hasn't been paid and could we give the company a call to he can get a pay check.

It went well. when the worker came, I went and purchased a piece of wood while he sawed the old piece out. He then trimmed the new piece to fit and installed it, caulked and painted it. The worker wanted to leave after that but I told him I paid for 3 hours. He did stay another hour to sand and paint by the big window in the back of the house.

I thought pricing was to high.

I bought an Angie's Big Deal, but knew I had more than the 3 hours of work so I asked if I could get an estimate and also make sure I had any materials I needed for them to complete the jobs. The guy came out promptly and toured the house with my list of items to do. He was nice, professional and prompt. I had a leaky faucet and was told I needed a new one, but when I went to get a new one I was told only a cartridge in the handle needed to be replaced.. so I was a little disappointed about the knowledge base. After the tour I was told it was bout 4 additional hours and they could do all the work. I only needed to get a couple extra things for the job. My husband was present when the work was done so I am not super clear on where the communication broke down, but the guys did only about half the things on the list. They charged a reasonable amount considering the work that they didn't do. They charged hourly and worked effeciently I think they were fair with the work they did. They worked and cleaned up. My disappointment was that there was no communication to my husband about what jobs would not be done and why or any acknowledgement that they were aware of the jobs they had missed. There was no follow up from the company about possibly needing or wanting to come back and finish work. I had also asked for an estimate on some additional outside work, but there was no follow up. I am happy with the work that was complete and felt the price was fair. I am just looking for a handyman who can do it all as promised and communicate during the process. I still have a bunch that needs to be done so I guess I keep looking for the right guy.

First of all, I wouldn't use this provider again because I am moving out of the area. I thought I paid for one handy man for 3 hours. Instead 2 gentlemen came saying they would be working for an hour and a half. This didn't exactly seem fair to me because I was not told about it in advance. I would have know that what I needed could not be done in 1 1/2 hours, unless the 2 gentlemen worked entirely independent of one another, which they didn't. One gentlemen seemed to be guiding the other for awhile. I don't think it was terribly over priced for what was completed, but I would have appreciated better clarification. I would have to say the overall grade was more like A- or B+.

It was a simple basic job but they were timely and professional.

Overall we had a positive experience. The handyman was friendly and anxious to please. He was a few minutes late but both the service headquarters and the handyman called to let us know that he was looking for our location and would be there soon. He was sincere in wanting to do a good job. He caught an error he had made when putting in the shelving framework in one closet and fixed it there and then, without counting the added time it took toward our three-hour allotment we had with him. If there was one criticism we had, it was simply that he didn't work as independently as we would have liked. We appreciated his many questions and desire to get it right. It was a busy day for us, though, and it would have been helpful if we could just give him the assignment and trust him to just get the job done. In the scheme of things, that was minor and we were happy with the work he did.

Not so good. Provider arrived later than expected and after inspecting the job, needed to go get supplies. I already had the light fixtures so I was surprised that he didn't have drywall materials with him. I had explained in detail the work to be performed to the provider during scheduling. The trip to Home Depot took 2 hours ! Work began at 11:00 and finished by 4pm so I was charged an additional $292 on top of the $120 I had already paid for 3 hours of work! The $120 for 3 hour coupon appears to be a scam to get them in the door. Won't use them again.

They did a great job, excellent workmanship . I would definately hire them again. The job went over by 2 hrs but the pricing was reasonable and it was worth the extra time to get the job done right.
