Great. Very professional.
Description of Work: Jordan and his crew are a pleasure to deal with. They completely removed 5 layers of asphalt tiles (last roofing done 25 years ago) and installed new energy efficient tiles on high steep roof. Installed and refitted new skylight. Installed new gutters and downspouts. Cleaned up at end of each day worked. Beautiful job. We are very pleased with the finished job.

Description of Work: I needed to replace the seals on my venting on the roof. So I bought the package on Angie's list. The guy came out and instead of replacing the seals, he painted them with glue! Now I need to have this redone every year or so as that glue breaks down when exposed to sunlight! Not professional choice. Sadly I couldn't go up on the roof to see what he was doing or I would have asked him to leave and hired a pro.

I'm sorry to hear that you were not pleased with the repairs. I have done many repairs like this. Sealing the pipe collars with modified cement is the professional way to seal jacks and keep them from leaking. Often times rubber storm collars are only a deterrent to keep water from trickling down the pipe and need to be counter sealed with a caulking regardless. I'm not sure where you received you information on how to properly seal a pipe jack, but the method we used is the best way to seal a jack. The mastic sealant usually lasts around 10 years depending on the weathering but could last longer. The seals should be checked and maintained every few years to maintain the watertight seal. Sausalito is way out of my coverage area, but since Angie's List forgot to list my area, I came out personally to do the repair. The repair also came with a 1 year warranty and has not leaked since. I'm sorry you were unhappy with our service. Perhaps you just needed a description of the repair to understand the quality of the repair and what exactly what it entailed.
