Sam, the contractor is very responsive and professional. His floor installer, Juan is very skilled and good, but Juan's helpers are not as good. I'm very picky and I like to have things line up. I had to roll and eyes and let a lot of things go, otherwise I'd have them re-do many things. I got to really like Juan and his helper, even though he did less than stellar work, but they are kind and good human beings, I just hope the young one gets as good as Juan. Overall they did a fair job, but I know where all the mistakes and bad cuts are, it's not perfect, but I can live with it.
Description of Work: Took out our old flooring and put in new floors and trim.

all work was done timely, within estimate and in a workmanlike manner.
Description of Work: Took out existing laundry room floor and floor in furnace and storage room and put in new sub floor and sheet vinyl floor. Also, removed laundry sink,washer, dryer and water heater and put back, along with strapping (earthquake proofing) water heater.

They were spectacular. They did a good job installing the floors. They were prompt. They cleaned up after themselves.

Mr. Leichter was simply amazing! He removed the damaged flooring board by board and replaced them individually to interweave with the undamaged flooring. It matches perfectly. I had received estimates as high as $7000 for the work, so I couldn't be more pleased with the price either. I highly recommend him.
Description of Work: They removed the portion of my hardwood floor which had water damage and replaced it with new hardwood flooring.
