Electrical problem not totally solved (another contractor solved immediately). Price charged too high, paid anyway. Mr. Gomez claimed experience in many skills. My take: A day laborer with limited skills is well over his head as a trusted handyman. Score: D+

Pedro showed up on time, was very courteous and knew what he was doing. He installed a hand rail for the back deck (three floors), completed some sheet rock work and welded a door stopper for my front gate. Very professional and completed the work in a few hours. His labor rate was also very affordable. I would definitely use him again and would absolutely recommend.

I hired him to install a bidet (toilet) seat. He had never installed one of these before, and it appeared he had difficulty reading/understanding the instructions. I had to help him through the project.

He promised to be avaiilable in a week from the date I hired his services but he actually did the work two weeks later.

Called me within seconds of submitting request. Scheduled work for two hours later (6:00 PM). Arrived on time. Completed job in 30 minutes (small, easy project). Asked me for offer for payment which he excepted.

The work (installing side stairs and gate, installing mailbox post) was done satisfactorily, HOWEVER, contractor did not provide written estimate (which led to confusion and dispute on what was to be done, and on costs), his estimation as to cost for materials was off by over 80%, and he was late each day from 1.5 to 2 hours. My superior rating is based mainly on his excellent pricing.

Pedro Gomez is honest and hardworking. The reason why we would definitely call him back is because he came back (immediaitely) to fix whatever we thought wasnt done right or needed adjusting. This was AFTER we had paid him---so this was a very good sign that he wanted to work with us to make sure we were satisfied with the job.
