They are great because they do custom work. So they build windows and doors right there in their shop. They come out and measure, figure out what you need, build it, and then install it. We had a cat before which we don’t have now and so they originally had built this door with a cat door. They had to rebuild the bottom part to take away the cat door.

We bid out this project to three providers that were recommended by our home association. The bids from all three with similar in price so we selected the one who promised he could deliver the windows the soonest. We were having our home painted at the time so I told Ralph from the Frameworks that I'd call him when it was almost completed. When we were ready, I called him. And called him. And called him for weeks. No response. I should have just started the process with somebody else but didn't. Big mistake. He was completely unapologetic for his complete lack of response. He also informed me for the first time that new windows take a while to "cure" and dry enough to be installed. Now he tells me. We had planned to have our house painters paint the new windows, too. We ended up having them do it and in fact some of the windows were still too tacky and wet and don't look good to this day. The installers were the worst of the ordeal. I was crazed with other things on the day they installed the windows so didn't have a lot of time to inspect their work before I recklessly cut them a check. Afterwards, I found that they just smashed up the molding around several of the windows and were as careless as could be. They also brought the wrong sized window for one bedroom and said they'd be back a week later "to install it". Instead, they just dropped it off in front of our home and we had to install it no easy feat. These guys were a nightmare and I don't throw that term around loosely.
