Bishwendu Paul is a trusted and reliable structural engineer who I have worked with for years. I recommend him for buyer's inspections as well as for sellers when I have a listing that needs more insight regarding foundation and structural issues or the potential thereof. Bishwendu's decade long experience is obvious. He is incredibly knowledgeable and can relay the sometimes very complicated information in a way that my clients easily understand it. His recommendations are spot on. He provides estimates and proposals upon request. Bishwendu has helped clarify issues and provided solutions for many of my real estate transactions. I feel very fortunate to have him in my network and give five stars full heartedly.

Definitely, all went per schedule and time frame to get things done on time and within budget as planned. Mr. Paul was meticulous and very detail oriented. He went extra mile to address other issues with our home that we did not ask for. We have saved bundle of money by having a plan that we consider very efficient, yet structurally sound and definitely saved us thousands of dollars in construction cost. we are very happy about that.

I wish I had read the reviews on Yelp before consulting with BK Paul regarding a structural engineering report. He had reached out to me through an open inquiry on Angie's List. I was seeking estimates for a structural report, to which BK provided a price range over the phone, citing his hourly rates. He said a site visit would be required to provide a bid on the specific cost for my job. I agreed, and after his visit, I felt duped. He provided a written proposal no different than his phone estimate, specifically stating the hourly rates with a "expected" cost, including a line stating that the final price could be higher. HIs ultimate plan is to suck you in after you already lost $250 on his useless bid. I told him I expected an actual dollar amount with his bid when I paid him $250 for his visit. I was trying to budget the project. He failed to deliver an actual bid. And he refused to return my deposit. He acted confused and said he has never had anyone question him before. Then I saw here on Yelp that he was not only dishonest with his bid, but he's had the identical complaint before. He steadfastly refused to refund my money, preferring the cash over his reputation. I can only imagine how awful he would become if you hired him. Avoid this company.
