John investigated and found that a small pipe in the hot water pipe had a tiny hole that was spraying water everywhere. He was able to find the leak, replace the section, and check the water flow into the bathtub. In the process of checking the water flow into the tub, he noticed that the hot water knob was not working properly. He replaced a washer in the bathtub for a tighter seal.

We've used Comack twice - our family seems to generate plumbing emergencies. On time, on price - very professional and friendly. Maybe if he had done the original work on our house, we wouldn't need a plumber so often!

The good news is, the very pleasant receptionist tells you this upfront! Every other company I called (8-10 other places) offered free in-home estimates and, according to the reviews for these other companies, most people were charged what they were quoted. The $25 charge for an estimate seemed out of the ordinary, so I thought I'd let people know. The reviews are good, though -- I still might consider this company for a larger project because the receptionist was so professional.

He was the first to respond, on time for his appointment (he believes time is the most valuable commodity), and said he did not mind one bit that I watched over his shoulder and learned. He's been in the business since 1954, relies almost solely on references from other customers, and knew enough to bring booties so the he wouldn't track in dirt into the house. He was friendly, professional, and above all, I really sensed a pride in honest workmanship.
