Description of Work: Claudia Vieira is a Landscape Designer specializing in Mediterranean and California native plants and ecologically-friendly/sustainable landscaping. She had previously designed and implemented the native California plant landscaping for our back yard, and then in 2011 designed the landscaping, the hardscape, and the new stone facing for the front of our home, which completely gave our home a novel appearance. She is very reliable and conscientious. We were determined to avoid the cookie-cutter approach that many landscape designers use, and that is why we went with Claudia, since she works closely with her clients to fit the collaborative vision to the location. Of course, we love the appearance of our new landscaping, and that is why I am writing this review, but people walking by that we don't even know have paid Claudia's work unsolicited highly favorable comments. When we bought our home over ten years ago, it had a large lawn that always looked mottled and unhealthy, and a few summers ago, when the drought was at its worst and we were paying enormous water bills, we realized that we need to kill off the lawn and have a more sensible landscaping.
