I first contacted them to see if they had any inexpensive remnants that might meet my need, but ended up buying a full slab. They took measurements and gave us detailed instructions on how to prep the countertop and sink cutout, with lots of warnings about the consequences if it wasn't perfect. That part was a bit stressful, although somewhat understandable given their business and problems they've probably had in the past. Everything went very smoothly though. The quality was excellent and the countertop looks super. I'd recommend Baker Marble and the vetrazzo product to others. The vetrazzo is worth the investment. It's extremely durable, and looks great on top of Ikea cabinets. If you don't need a full slab, think about other uses for the remnant pieces. I had Baker Marble cut mine into stepping stones for the garden. Took awhile for them to cut it done, but they did it in the end.

They took longer to do a better job after assessing the problem. I was very happy.
Description of Work: I had a stain for over a year on the top of an antique chest. They restored the marble and removed the stain. They were knowledgeable, thorough and it looks better than before the stain.

These are custom countertops we're having installed. There has been a lot of individual attention made to these countertops. Their prompt in getting back to us and very good about communication. There was a whole schedule of dates of what was to be done and when.
