Geoff was clearly excited by the challenge. Work was performed promptly. They were there for about a week. Cleaned up at the end of the day.
Description of Work: 1910 house with second floor bathroom. Laundry room added onto house over drain pipes. Geoff figured out a way to run new intake pipes through the walls and redid drains in bathroom whcih were leaking into the downstairs unit.. Also redid drains in laundry room which were not vented.

The different work required multiple days and an assistant. The cast iron pipe first required a temporary fix, and then Geoff returned to make the fix permanent. Once he had spec'ed the unusual bolt pattern on the Toto low flow dual flush toilet, his assistant did an excellent job installing it, shimming it for levelness on our somewhat uneven tile floor, and then sealing it to hide the shim and make a very nice installation. All the while, both were extremely courteous, pleasant, and responsive.
Description of Work: Geoff repaired an aging cast iron waste pipe at our house, and installed a low flow dual-flush toilet.

Geoff and his crew of 2 did a very good job. They had been recommended to me by a very knowledgeable counterman at Moran Plumbing on 40th Street. Geoff knew how the old plumbing was put together, with lead and oakum. They worked on a Saturday to get the job done before Thanksgiving as promised. Geoff's solution, the hard plastic sleeve was better than the solution suggested by Nahman Plumbing (a rubber sleeve, which would not have been to code and would not have held up well to waste and chloramine) and was better than the solution suggested by another counterman at Moran (cutting the cast-iron pipe and re-connecting it). I'm very pleased with Albertson's plan and the implementation.
Description of Work: Removed old lead sleeve in cast-iron waste pipe for toilet. Installed new hard plastic sleeve with modern oakum into cast-iron waste pipe. Installed closet flange and repaired rot in sub-floor. (This is an old house, built in 1895. There was no closet flange, just hanger bolts in the sub-floor.) Price was hourly; I have not received a bill yet; I'm just guessing at the price.
