We did not competitively 'bid' this job. We knew Kerry Rug from other business owners. The installers were new to us. We would use this company again.

They didn't do it right and it was a really bad job. The owner had just attitude, so I had them rip it up and take it out. It was just bad, he came in here thinking that just because I am a woman he could bulldoze me and that doesn't fly. I had them do some vinyl, I had ordered the rug and I had them just leave it and I would have someone else install it. They installed the vinyl and there were some places where they didn't measure it right and had to piece it. I said oh no and they had to replace it. it looks nice now. He sold me a defective product. I agreed to some of it, what he showed me was not what I got in here. What he sold me was a bad batch he got in. He made up this whole story saying it was installed in someone else's home and he took it so he was giving me this great deal. When it was in here it was just all bad. It had gaps in it and you could cut your foot on it and there were nails all through it and your not supposed to nail down a floating hard wood floor. They were misrepresented and very expensive. I went to Home Depot and got a much better product and the installation was much cheaper. I just compared prices. I didn't have them install it I had my brother do it. It was a defective product to begin with and he probably picked the best pieces to show me. They just misrepresented it to me. The workmanship, they just didn't know what they were doing. It was his son's that installed it and they just had attitude. The one son that installed the vinyl he was nice and agreed with me, but he was just a worker. Instead of coming to fix the problem he just came in with attitude and he told me that I didn't know what I was talking about because they have been doing this for a long time. He did refund me and put some of it toward the carpet. It was just the stress of it all and I could have probably went to Home Depot and avoided all the headache. The one worker was nice, but he couldn't say anything because he worked for him. I had to go round and round with them to get the vinyl fixed in the kitchen and around the sink. They were here when they said they would be, but they were not responsive. I just didn't have a good experience with them. There was no care in putting the tacking on the floors and it was a pain in the butt to get off. I don't know what they are thinking because word of mouth goes a long way.
