The cabinets and vanity are all gorgeous really adds value to our home. Don't think twice about hiring Sierra construction they do excellent work at a good price

He does good work but he is not reliable when he comes. I would call him and he won't return my call, it was just frustrating. He would come and do what I needed and he would get in and get out.
Description of Work: We used Sierra Enterprises to remodel stuff inside a house that we purchased.

The quality of work and the timeliness made it an excellent experience. They were the most reasonably priced by far. It was a complete build in patio cover that matched the house which required stucco and all that stuff and they made it a really good job.
Description of Work: Sierra Enterprises built a patio cover for me.

Kelvin did a great job of taking everything out and matching up the paint, baseboards and flooring. Great care was taken in covering the work area in order to not let dust or damage happen to the rest of the room. Work was always started on time and everything was cleaned up at the end of each work day. Kelvin and his assistants were always very courteous and pleasant to talk to. Overall we were very satisfied with Kelvin's work. We would definitely hire him for other projects.
Description of Work: Remove existing gas fireplace, remove walls surrounding firepalce, remove tile in front of firplace, remove fireplace exhaust vent all the way to the roof, remove flashing at roof and redo roof area after flashing removal with matching shingles, drywall/tape/texture walls to match existing texture, cap gas line to fireplace, paint walls to match existing color. Provide and install wood flooring to wall and match to existing wood flooring in the rest of the room.

I met with Klevin on June 23, 2010 at 2 pm. He came on time and was very pleasant to speak with. He spent a long time talking with me providing information about plumbing and other issues that may arise from the building of an Addition. But my issue is that it has been almost two weeks since we spoke and he has yet to provide me with an estimate. I don't really understand why he would take the time to take measurements, talk with me, and promise an estimate and not do so. If he was not interested in the job he should have said so. That is just my gripe. I'm sure that if he actually does go through the process with some one he seems like he would do a good job.
Description of Work: Appointment was a 6/23/2010 at 2 pm. I called for an estimate for an enclosure of a carport and to construct a bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room within the space.

In response to the report, I let the customer know that it would be at least 11/2 weeks before I could get back to her with a proposal due to personal matters that had to be taken care of. I emailed a copy of the proposal to the email address provided but unfortunately did not follow up with a phone call to see if they receive the proposal. I will assume that the emailed proposal did not get received by the customer.

As demonstrated by the list of services performed, Kelvin "Holmes" Struiksma can do it all! He is an excellent problem solver (an essential skill when dealing with any remodeling project - big or small). Kelvin's attention to detail, wide range of knowledge and supreme skills transformed an "eighties oldie" into a 2010 showplace.
Description of Work: Complete remodel of 1450 sq foot home. Kitchen and 2 bathrooms were taken down to walls. Installation of new plumbing and fixtures for five sinks (kitchen, wet bar, master bath and guest bath). Installation of plumbing and new bathtub in guest bathroom. Framed new shower and seat in master bathroom. Installation of plumbing/fixtures master bathroom shower. Ran electrical for additional outlets, lighting and appliances. Installation of 7 can lights, 2 pendant lights and chandelier. Installation of new dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, downdraft range, and refrigerator. Framing, sheetrock installation, sheetrock repair, tape/texture (new and matching) in kitchen and baths. Installation of cabinets in kitchen, master bath, hall bath, wet bar, laundry room and hallway linen closet. Built hallway cabinet. Installation of baseboards throughout house. Built and installed custom fireplace mantel.
