I had a large raywood ash, over 20 years old, that covered a large part of my yard. The tree had begun to lean and had some issues with borers. We live on top of a hill and any wind storm became a concern. I had four different tree companies out to bid the removal. I was the most impressed with Sam Anderson. He came out, answered my questions honestly and even offered to supply me with the paperwork to verify insurance, workmans comp etc. Sam and his crew showed up at the appointed time, worked hard, and left my yard in a better shape than before. Sam Anderson is my only tree company now. He will be helping me in the future for pruning and maintenance.

It took a couple of hours, cleaned up after.

I can't comment on the quality of their work. All I can say is that I called them for an estimate to trim a large Liquid Amber tree. They promised to do a "drive by" estimate and leave the estimate under the mat the following Tuesday ( 2-3 days after the initial contact). I never heard back from them. I was disappointed because I had heard good things about this business, but apparently they did not need my business.

The principle and two men arrived at 9am, finished by 2pm, totally cleaned up debris, came to the door, shook my hand, and wished me a good day.

..First, and foremost, these guys are TERRIFIC! Sam and his crew are total professionals. They showed up right on time. They were friendly and informative when I asked questions. The crew was always communicating with each other and worked in a truly safe and professional manner. I especially appreciated their diligence toward safety ( who needs to have an accident on their property, even if they are bonded and insured?) The crew made sure that all debris was cleaned up (, including that from several neighbors yards) to my satisfaction. I would just add that if you want a job done right at a fair price, this the crew to call.

They came out right away, they gave me a very competitive estimates, and they did the work really well.

The estimate was less than half of the highest bid. Not the lowest but a written estimate, not just a scribble on the back of a business card. The crew did an excellent job. 9:30am to 1pm. They earned a tip :)

Completed in one day. Cleaned up well before they left.

showed up on exact date and time promised. charged exactly what his estimate was. cleaned up his project and went a little bit beyond what he had contracted for because he felt it needed to be done.

A section of the fence was removed. Tree cutting went well. Tree trimmings were chipped. Tree cut into fire place log size. Stumps ground up and remains spread over area as mulch. Replaced fence. A good job considering the poor con-dition of the fence. Have referred the company to my granddaughter.

On time, good clean up and nice crew. they will be our tree guys in the future.

Overall the entire job went good. No damage to our home, most of the branches removed were growing above the house. They also spent alot of time cleaning up the yard after chipping the branches. When they left the lawn was clean as if I had just mowed.

I called and requested an estimate. Mr. Anderson came out right away (within half an hour) and gave me an estimate, good for one month. I told him I would think about it and get back to him if I wanted the work done. Several weeks later, I called and left a voice message saying I did want the work done. Mr. Anderson called back later that morning, saying he was on the road, but once he got back to the office later that day, he would pull my estimate and call me back to schedule the tree trimming. He didn't call for about week. Then he said he had lost my estimate (but since I still had my copy, he'd honor it). Then he found his copy. When his team came out to do the work, I showed them into the backyard and then left for work. When I came back, the trees had been trimmed. They looked OK, not great, not even good, but passable. But...some plants I had recently planted beneath the trees were gone. And some smaller branches were left in the backyard, rather than being hauled away. (I think they thought if they tossed the smaller branches on my compost pile, I wouldn't notice-but I did.)And my yard furniture, which had been (appropriately) moved out of the way during the tree trimming, had not been put back.
