As a designer, I have worked with many contractors. I loved working with Rob & his crew; they were on time, clean & organized. Would highly recommend & would use UpCycle's services for another job.

The project has not yet started, but a preliminary report is appropriate at this time because of the owner's (Rob's) extensive efforts up-front. He has been very generous with his time to revise his bid and work with us on scope modifications so we can meet the client's needs within her budget (I'm the architect). He has been extremely professional and responsive throughout, and I am looking forward to working with him when construction starts next month. I'll provide an update after the project is completed.

We dreaded the mess, inconvenience and cost of a major remodeling of our main bathroom. We got 3 bids from 1 highly-recommended firm and 2 past contractors we'd used, then we met Rob walking his dog in the neighborhood. We asked him to bid and his estimate was in the middle of the $9-33k range and much more specific. Besides, he was a Bernal neighbor, hired local craftspersons, and had a green approach to construction and recycling! He proved to be what we expected: skilled, professional, and completely trustworthy. We've done at least 5 major remodeling projects in the 17 years we've lived here and we've never rehired one of those businesses. Rob Walker gives the project the personal attention you don't get from a bigger firm and he is so easy to work with. We plan to hire UpCycle Builders for any future projects and we're recommending him to friends.
