Premier Pools and Spas

My experience with Rick was fantastic. He has the best guys and installs the best equipment. Also important for us, he managed the entire project and I was only pulled in from time to time on design questions. All of his employees were top-notch and showed up on time. The project took longer than expected, but that was due to the landscape design team and not Rick. Rick also installed two other pools in our neighborhood and they had positive experiences as well.

We hired Rick Fernandez with Premier Pools. The process was a complete disaster, and continues to be an ongoing expense and mess. A process that we were told would take 6-8 weeks took us nearly a year. We had to complete the end on our own. This contractor disappeared for weeks at a time with excuse after excuse of why he did not show up or why something was not done or did not come in. He also demanded more money for "unforeseen" things that were never discussed, and wanted payments before they were due, or he would not continue. Premier Pools corporate offices (Paul Porter) was of no help, and would not take my calls or help us. We failed every inspection due to negligence and not doing things appropriately, and it was one problem after another. After less then 6 months of completing the pool, it started cracking with huge gaping gaps all along the waterline. Rick Fernandez and Paul Porter of Premier Pools refused to help, even though this is under warranty and happened due to poor workmanship on their part. The pool has had issue after issue, and I can only try to help anyone else who might be considering using Rick Fernandez/Premier Pools. For us this has been the biggest disaster we have ever had in any construction on a home. We have worked with many contractors, and some good and some bad, but this went beyond our worst nightmare. We now have no pool this summer, as it has been drained and is being partially torn up after a short time of having it. See attached photos.
