OZ CLEANING CO

I called Oz and was quoted the lowest price for a "deep cleaning" out of the other cleaners I'd called and they were available much sooner. They guesstimated it would take a team of 3 about 2 hours to perform a deep cleaning on my 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, and two bedrooms. I explained the house was very dirty and wanted a very thorough cleaning. Jan assured me the team had been with her for over 10 years and were very detailed at their job. The cleaning crew arrived 15 minutes late and did not know exactly what it was they were supposed to be cleaning and to what degree. I thought they would have been briefed before arriving, but apparently not. I explained I wanted a "deep cleaning": all surfaces, including baseboards cleaned thoroughly. I left a check with the team leader and tipped each worker $10.00. I left for work anticipating a sparkling home when I returned. When I returned home, I saw a few things that had been extremely dirty were much cleaner and got very excited. Upon further inspection; however, I was very disappointed to see the kitchen baseboards still dirty, grease marks on the counter, a layer of powder (like comet) left in my shower/tub and the shower head not reconnected. Since the day of the cleaning, I have spent many hours after work picking up where the cleaning team left off. I'd say they had a decent start to a deep cleaning, but their work was not sufficient enough for me to recommend their services again. I complained directly to the owner and was told the team worked very hard (which I don't doubt), but that they did not feel they had enough time to complete the cleaning to the degree they wanted to. I was frustrated that their schedule did not permit some flexibility to allow them to stay longer since the owner never visited my home to see the extent of the work required before quoting me the 2 hour time frame for the cleaning. I asked for a partial refund for the services and was offered a 20% refund. I accepted this offer, but have not heard back from the owner. I do not recommend Oz Cleaning for a deep cleaning service. Maybe they are better at superficial weekly cleanings?
