Northbay Painting & Wood Preserving

Simply amazing!! Those two words seem to capture my experience working with everyone at Northbay. In 30 years of home ownership and maintenance, including major/minor remodels and several interior/exterior painting jobs and deck refurbishment projects, I have never worked with such professional, courteous, and customer oriented people. NorthBay is not near the least expensive contractor, but, the difference is undeniably worth it. The process started with you stopping by to bid the project. Just by talking and walking around the job, I could tell you knew your business and what was necessary to ensure quality craftsmanship. Equally important, you were willing to include important steps in the contract to give me comfort that you would in fact do a ?first class job from start to finish?. Because of my growing confidence, I expanded the job to include restoring/preserving the wood deck. Once again, I?m glad I did, especially using Radcon. Next, came the actual work and my expectations were set pretty high after talking with you. The foreman for the job, Regan Cason, is a class act. He is personable and clearly takes pride in his craft. He started the project on time and was there every day until the job was done ? despite being a golfer and my enticement to play a round. Regan was joined by a solid crew of 3 regular helpers, and up to 7 during the peak workload of finishing the trim/caulking. Mind you, my house with its horizontal wood siding was in desperate need of work. Two sides of the house had to be sanded to the bare wood and back rolled to ensure a long life given 16+ hours per day of direct sunlight---a task that Regan and the crew seemed to relish as the beauty of their hard work began to emerge. As for the deck, once again, the team exceeded my expectations by dismantling the 2x2 vertical rails to ensure a thorough sanding and complete removal of all prior stains (and strengthening deck in process!). The deck now looks so good that my wife is planning a party this weekend just so we can admire the superb job. Needless to say, I know where I?ll go for all my future painting/wood restoration needs.
