Description of Work: Assessed, evaluated, estimated, removed/installed furnace and thermostat. Arranged for required testing to be done same day.

+ -1 moreGary called shortly after 1 pm (his arrival window was 1-3). He was very professional and straightforward. He even informed me that this is not the ideal time to have the A/C checked because the ambient temperature was not warm enough to put a load on the system. He also identified that the air filter was too restrictive for our system and to pick up a pleated version of the same size at the local hardware store. All in all a good experience.
Description of Work: Air conditioner was not working. Gary checked the thermostat, fuses, cooling tubing, & air filter.

+ 0 moreThe tech was on time and very professional. He opened all the vents in the house (someone had closed them!!!) and the house started to warm up immediately. I was charged $124 for a service call which I thought was reasonable. The tech was there for about 40 minutes. He knew what he was doing and was very helpful. He told me that Mrs. Burch runs the company now and her philosophy is that the customer should always be happy. I was happy and warm.
Description of Work: The heater wasn't putting out any heat. The tech replaced the filter and opened all the vents in the house.

+ -1 moreThey are very good but very expensive. I found them to be very over priced. They do very good quality work. However, I wouldn't use them again in the future because the quality is not worth the price.
Description of Work: I used Gene Burch Plumbing, Heating & Air They found an underground water leak. I used them over five years ago. They also gave me a quote to repair some leaking toilets and the quote was very over priced. They wanted several hundred dollars to repair the toilets and I went to the hardware store and found the items to fix the toilets myself.

+ -1 moreWe’ve used them for 25-30 years. We used the father and now his sons. Gary is the manager. They are great people. We only used them once years ago for our furnace and that man is no longer with them so we couldn't judge how their furnace repair is. They have been great for the plumbing. We would use them again if we need plumbing repairs. We haven't had any problems with them.

Description of Work: Removed disposal and found plastic bag tie lodged inside (standard rate $331.64 customers on their plan $281.90) He put back the old disposal. Installed new customer supplied faucet/hoses $249.77 their plan customers $212.30 plumber installed ptrap (sr$ 70.10 their plan rate $59.59) Slip extension installed $34.71 or their plan $29.50 Kohler fillvalve and flushball installed $332.82 their plan 282.90 PCMA agreement cost $98.50. (You pay $67.00 for them to show up which is applied to the service) OUTRAGEOUS PRICES!!!!! He was here about 2.5 hrs. Total cost without plan is $1019.04. With service 964.89.
