Fireplace Door Guy

I was looking for a nice fireplace door after we remodeled our family room, including installing gas logs and refacing our fireplace surround. I had originally intended to just have a free-standing screen on the mantle, but when I saw the gorgeous custom doors available from the Fireplace Door Guy, I knew that look would be an amazing addition to the overall look of the room. Before our remodel, we had a wood burning fireplace with just a simple brass bar and mesh screen. Because California Spare the Air days are so frequent, it made having a fire a far too rare thing - not to mention the mess it can be to create and clean up after. We installed gas logs, and refaced our fireplace. I then contacted Ron to get a quote for fireplace doors. (after his initial visit, I learned that they can install the gas logs as well and really wished we had gone with them for the entire project). Ron responded promptly and made an appointment to see our project. He listened to our needs, showed us some pictures, gave us an estimate, and provided a timeline for the project. We decided to proceed so he took some measurements of our opening. About 2 weeks later, Ron came back with the frame portion of the door for a fitting. At that time, we decided on a final design and finish. He was back within two more weeks with the finished doors and installed them. They are extremely substantial and the look exceptionally nice with the stone on the fireplace. We were thrilled with the service and professionalism, and of course, the product. I don't think the price for this quality is out of line, so I'm rating my entire experience an A. I would give Ron an A+ if I could!
