We have used their tree trimming service for the past few years to trim our palm trees and to cut down approximately 6-8 Cypess trees that had started to lift the walkway around our pool. They responded promptly after I left a message requesting service quote. They called just prior to arriving that same day to give us a quote on the current job trimming our palm trees and digging up the Cypress tree roots that had been previously removed. We didn't realize how imbedded they were until after trying to remove them ourselves. The quote was on a Tuesday and they were ready to do the job on Wednesday but we scheduled it for Thursday, today. They arrived approximately 7:15 AM and had the job completed by 9:30 AM. They said they would definitely be done before noon and they were. They cleaned up quickly and job seems to have been well done.

Great! Hala was very responsive. Despite my front yard being under construction, they still cleaned up their mess to perfection. Very good crew. Thanks!

Arrived when they said they would, worked hard, did a superior job of cleaning up the yard after all the cutting. Very professional and hard working. I highly recomend them.

I had originally called them a few weeks ago. I needed my large from year tree trimmed so I could get my roof repaired. When I did call a month ago there was no answer and so I left a message. They didn't call me back right away. Either they were busy doing a job or not available. I can understand this as its a small business. I put it off for a while due to all the rains and wasn't able to get it scheduled. I finally called again this Friday when I was off from work. This time they answered. I asked him to come by for a quote. He was at a job site and said he would come by after. He did and gave me a price. It was looking like it would rain and he said he would come by on Sat (next day) with the crew and truck if it didn't rain. It was looking gloomy and I didn't think it was going to happen and had forgotten about it and then I hear the doorbell ring on Sat morning. They were here to trim the tree. 3 total workers got it done in 1 hr 40 min (under the original estimated 2 hrs). Thinned it out a LOT. Maybe too much? They cleaned up the yard and the top of my roof that had a lot of old leaves collected, which was causing issues. Overall a good job. Price maybe a little higher than it should have costed?. We will see how well it grows back. Now I can get my roof repaired next. 1st time using Hala's but heard good things here on A.L. and they were close by. (See before and after pix) Overall Good. No real issues. Heavy branches made some big heavy THUDS when they came down. They maybe should have tied them off to prevent/minimize that? They did do it pretty quick so...

Hala Tree Service is a Great Value. Lowest price by far. They were able to schedule the service quickly and showed up on time. They worked hard all day and trimmed up 5 large trees and removed a dead plum tree for an incredible price. They cleaned up and disposed of the debris. They made sure I was satisfied with the work before they considered the job complete.

Very well, the two gentlemen showed up earlier than the originally scheduled appointment, and worked fast and diligently on the project. They were done in about an hour for beginning to end. They did everything that was agreed upon, and left my yard as clean as it originally had been.

It went very good. All the trees were trimmed well. I am satisfied when I look at them, they were pretty professional when they were on my property.

They actually knocked on my door since they were in the area trimming a tree a few houses down asking if they could give me a quote. The timing was ironic because I'd had a few trimmers come out the week prior for quotes. The lowest quote I had received was from a different company ($425) and I was going to give them a call. Hala's initially told me $600 but I negotiated the price down to $350. They were done within 90 minutes and did an excellent job of trimming and clean up. I would hire again.

They came to the door, so I decided to get an estimate on some work. The young man knew a lot about trees and plants and explained that the palm was dying and needed to be taken out. I had them take out both palms, and they did the little one for free. I was pleased that they were careful to make sure that nothing fell on my house or my new pavers. They did a good job and cleaned up the lawn, but my patio and walkways didn't get clean. The supervisors asked if I was happy, and I told them about the patio and they are going to come back and take care of it.

Very well. We have used Hala's to prune the avocado tree since moving into the house over eight years ago. They always return the call promptly to schedule the visit. The rates are very competitive. He has a large crew that shows up on time. The clean everything as they go. Nice company/guy to do business with.

THERE WAS A VERY ANNOYING TREE IN OUR DRIVEWAY. IT BLOCKED THE SUNLIGHT FOR THE OTHER PLANTS. THIS SERVICE PERFORMED WELL, AND THE PRICE WAS GOOD.
