Cooke's Garage Doors

I them hired before for my son’s condo . I called, we set a date and time. The service guy showed up on time, fixed the problem and then he performed some maintenance work on the door. Courteous and friendly.

The replacement/installation of the door took less than 2 hours. The (very silent) door looks and works great. The service was professional and amiable. I was provided only what I needed. There was no effort to add on extra items/expenses, and the cost was reasonable/competitive.

Not well at all. Despite calling him numerous times over several weeks and leaving him voice mail each time, he would not respond.

I called them at around 7:30 Monday morning, and explained my problem, and they showed up around 9:00 AM and fixed it. They replaced both springs, and did a general check up on the door. Very fast, professional, and efficient service.

Brian was awesome. Called him up, he answered, gave me an estimate, and was able to come by take a look and install the same day. Cool guy and did a great job in a timely fashion. He took the time to explain how to use our new opener, what we should do to maintain it, and other useful information. Would hire again. Thanks Brian!

My son hit the garage door trying to go under it. This broke the spring, and of course it was a Saturday. So I came to Angies list hoping to find a repair person to fix the garage door. Brian Cooke came out (within 2 hours....super fast for a Sat). He has to order a spring, but he did a temp fix in the meantime. My garage door is custom that's why he had to order it. He had everything on that truck, and he also tightened the door up and reprogramed a new remote. This guy is awesome, and super nice. I am going to have him come back and replace the doors very soon.

It went very quickly. Door wouldn't work at all before but he fixed it by adjusting the hardware. I thought I needed a new door, but didn't.

Brian was very nice and professional. He did not try to upsell me. He gave me options on the different packages and explained the differences. I decided to go with the best package because it was only a couple hundred more than the good package. The package was $1,450 which included an insulated door and top of the line garage door opener. I was so impressed with Brian I did not even get anymore estimates. His price seemed very good and I was happy. We set up the installation date and it went great. They came and installed the door in a few hours. I am very happy. The quality of their work was excellent. I would use them again.

.Brain, came by and looked at the old opener. he gave me price to replace it or repair it. I decided to have it replaced. He suggested a model and explained the reason why he chose that one. I agreed and set up a time for him to come back and install the new one. He was on time, did a professional installation job, cleaned up and took the old unit away. I went to Home Depot and priced the unit and found out his price was higher not not unreasonable consider he had to purchase it. I would highly recommend him.

Daniel came to fix the broken springs on our garage door. Clean, friendly, and professional all at a great cost! I will call them for all future needs and recommend to anyone who needs any garage door work done.

When he came he asked a few questions. He then tweaked the floor sensor, told me how it had to be in order to function properly. "What's my bill", I asked. "Notin"," I did nothing " he replied. You do not find mechanics with this type of attitude these days. Brian is THE MAN to call on garage doors, install or service. This is my 1st review on Angies list in 3 years. Pleasantly shocked customer.

I called two garage door specialists from Angie's List to perform the work. Bryan returned my call promptly and we set a date and time to meet. The other company never returned my call. Bryan was at the condo when I arrived and I was on time. Bryan adjusted the lifting device and the door. I bought a new Liftmaster door opener from him and he synched it with the lifter and with the front gate to the condo. He was early for the appointment, knew what he was doing, got to work quickly and in about half an hour the garage door opened smoothly and the door opener worked, too. I complimented him on his work. I would use this company again.

My garage door motor had fallen, bolts dislodged from other areas and I needed help fast. I turned to Angie's List and found that Cooke's Garage Doors had been well rated and used by several people in my community. I called and Brian responded quickly. He was at my home within the hour and quickly was able to repair the problem. I was very satisfied with his promptness, professionalism and price. He also assisted me with repograming the universal remote with no additional cost. I will definately use and refer this company again.

The garage door stopped responding to the remote. Changed batteries, nothing. Finally after a few months of manually opening it I decided to call for repair. Checked Angie's list and found Cooke's Garage Doors with all A reviews. It was on the weekend so I emailed the company. Brian called me Monday morning for details. I sent him pictures of the motor and door so he could have the correct parts on hand. Came out on Tuesday and added a reinforcement bracket (my small bracket had ripped out). Didn't need a new opener YAY! Checked remotes, oiled everything and adjusted sensors. Very professional and will definitely use again and recommend to others.

Brian spent a lot of time with informative consultation; proceeded to install new upgraded door; all went smoothly. Thanks for a nice job; love the door!

Brian and the installation person were professional and courteous. The price was very fair. Installation was done extremely well with a great clean up afterward. I definitely recommend this company with no reservations.

Doesn't get any better than Cooke's Garage Doors. Brian was honest, prompt and efficient. We had him install a new garage door opener and he showed up on time, did the work he said he would do, instructed me on use, programmed my factory installed remote in my car and cleaned up. Couldn't ask for anything more!!!!

Brian came out in response to my call regarding a broken garage door. He took a look and gave me all of the options available for taking care of it, rather than just trying to sell me a new one. After hearing all of the options I decided to get a new door. He said he would order it and let me know when it arrives. I asked about scheduling on the holiday for the installation and Brian said no problem. He informed me that it would likely be another employee and not him for the installation but assured me it could be done. He gave me a window of time for installation. The workman arrived on time and immediately went to work. He completed the job in a timely manner. Before leaving he cleaned up the garage and the surrounding area. Garage repaired without difficulty!

Background: I recently had my garage and quot;finishedand quot; with insulation and drywall. During that project, the contractor had to remove the garage door tracks, mounts, and springs on the ceiling and walls. When they put the garage door back on, one of the springs broke. The contractor called and quot;a garage door guyand quot; he knew who was able to come out right away and install new springs. I knew the garage door had some minor issues, but the repaired door appeared to work fine and I thought it would hold on for a few more years. Well, last week I was heading out early one Saturday morning and when I pressed the button to close my garage, the door started to fall off the tracks. It was stuck half way open with two corners hanging in mid air, looking like the entire door was going to fall off. One of the tension cables on the side had unspooled somehow, so there was a pile of twisted cable wrapped around the metal rod. It was a mess. After trying to pop one of the wheels back in and just get the door closed, more wheels popped out of the track. Not wanting to get killed when the door fell on top of me, I gave up and called Brian and had to cancel my plans for the day. I'm sure I interrupted his Saturday morning, but Brian came out right after lunch. I was thinking he would be able to pop the door back in and get the door working again. Well, as soon as he took one look at my door, he shook his head and told me the bad news. In two seconds he saw damage on the door that I hadn't noticed before, and he explained why the damage made the door impossible to repair properly and dangerous to continue to use. He also pointed out the half dozen things the and quot;garage door guyand quot; had done wrong when he and quot;repairedand quot; the broken spring on my door--the tracks were not mounted properly, and the springs were not installed correctly. He said he could put a band-aid on my door, but that it might just fall off again the next day or even injure someone. My door was old and faded and damaged (from the prior homeowner), and my opener was very old and very loud, so it wasn't hard for Brian to sell me a new door and opener. He showed me a few brochures, explained several options for doors and openers, and a few minutes later, I had ordered my new door and opener. He then very carefully got my old door back on the tracks, rewound the cable, and got the door closed. The next day, I updated my wife on the new door and opener. Well, she wanted a different color and design. I called Brian to stop my order until I could choose a new color. I asked him about the other color options, but because and quot;tanand quot; and and quot;taupeand quot; and and quot;almondand quot; and and quot;brownand quot; are all pretty subjective, Brian got his color samples and took the time to drive back to my house to show them to me. Later that day, I finally got the okay from my wife and I sent a text to Brian with the final color choice. He then submitted the order right away. Brian was incredibly flexible and patient. To his surprise and mine, the new door was ready in 2 days rather than the typical 5-7 days, so Brian called me that same week to schedule an install. So on the Thursday after my door broke, he and his assistant were removing my old door and installing the new one. What a huge improvement. The new insulated and quot;steel backand quot; door is solid, smooth, and opens very quietly. No rattling, banging, or vibrations through my house. In fact, with the LiftMaster 8500 direct drive opener, the door is so quiet that I can't hear the garage door open or close when I'm in the house--which is exactly what I wanted (Brian explained that some people actually don't like it that quiet!). The new garage door is great, and Brian was fantastic. From coming right out on a Saturday, to holding the order until I chose a new color, to installing it as soon as it was ready at the factory, it was a seamless process. I couldn't be happier. And I am confident that if I ever have a problem, I can just give Brian and call and he'll take care of it. If you think you are saving money with a random and quot;garage door guyand quot;, trust me, you may just be wasting your money like I did. Brian was so much more knowledgeable and professional, and he did a fantastic job. Whether you need a service, repair, new opener, or entire new door, I would definitely recommend Brian. He tells it to you straight, gives you options and prices, and gets the work done quickly and properly.

I contacted Brian the owner about getting an estimate...he happened to be in the area on another job and came by within the hour. I decided to go with his idea of windows in the garage door and so happy I did. He ordered the door and came back within a week to install it. Did a great job and even hauled away another old door I had along with the ones he replaced. Super nice guy, did a great job and would definitely recommend him.
