Great. Mike was professional, asked good questions and provided information before the job. Showed up day of the job and did a fantastic job. There was additional work that needed to be done but Mike charged for the extra material and a little more for labor. The new door looks great and is working again. I want him to replace our front double doors too so will call him again for another job!!!!

Michael, did an excellent job! I first got in touch with Bates Construction for weather stripping on our doors which lead into mirrored closet doors in all four bedrooms. We then replaced windows and had siding installed to the exterior of our home. Next we plan to update two bathrooms and our kitchen and we’re sure Bates Construction is a good fit!

We wanted to replace our existing front door with a pre-hung dutch door and hired Michael to do the job. He showed up on time and got right to work. As with everything in our house, thanks to the previous owner did everything as cheaply as possible, so there are always surprises. The door was no exception. Michael called to confirm the date and time the day before the install was scheduled and arrived early to perform the work. He was very conscientious about detail when installing our new front entry door and demonstrated his extensive knowledge and experience as a professional. We were very happy with the result of his work and would definitely hire him again if needed.

Michael Bates repaired my front door frame 8/10/20. Michael brought a blank invoice form with him Sunday, 8/09/20, when he came out to look at my broken door frame & told me he could repair it. He gave me his business card but did not write up an estimate. He verbally told me he could make the repair and it would cost me $150.00. I agreed for him to return Monday 8/10/20 to repair my door frame. When Michael returned Monday 8/20/20 he told me he would send me his invoice when he got home. He has a gmail address: batesmichael55B@gmail.com. It's now Tuesday 8/11 at 4:09 am, very early morning, and I have not yet received an emailed invoice from Michael Bates. I noticed he notified Angie's List he completed the job but I am still waiting for my detailed invoice he promised me. I intend to give Michael a call around 8:00 or 9:00 am to tell him I am still waiting for my detailed invoice. It appears he did a good job. Worker never showed up after a scheduled appointment. No call for reschedule.

Slow, due to COVD-19, The doors took awhile to come in. Work was done quickly even with complications. Friendly and Kind Contractor who had knowledge of hanging doors in old homes.

Mike is fantastic. I submitted the request and within minutes we were chatting on the phone and had the appointment scheduled. He showed up to do the estimate the same day and the next day came out to complete the project. I have already hired him for the next project. Mike is very nice, super friendly and knowledgeable in his craft. He travels with his own tools and leaves the job site nice and clean. He will always be my first call for jobs and I will happily recommend him to others looking for a professional.

Michael has done exceptional work! My initial call was for weather stripping around my doors which lead to Mirrored closet doors in all four bedrooms, new exterior siding and windows!!! 😊 We love Michael’s work and are currently planning to start a bathroom then the kitchen..... he’s a keeper!!!

Michael from Bates Construction removed the old man door and installed a new one with new locks, and cleaned up the area where he did the work. I am very happy with the look of the new door and the efficient way the work was performed.
