Sunshine Builders and Foundation Repair

We had the best experience with sunshine builders. We were expecting a foundation replacement to be a very difficult commitment but instead the entire process went very smoothly. We were well informed of what to expect during the repair which made it very easy. Thank you again sunshine builders and foundation repair.

Bought a new home and had it remodeled. I started noticing a lot of cracks in my ceiling and thought the remodel was done poorly only to find out that it was actually a leveling issue due to my house settling. Guess that’s a common issue in Woodland Hills and homes built on slabs. I found sunshine builders and foundation repair on yelp and had them reassess my foundation. They fixed my leveling issue hassle free. Couldn’t be happier.

I would choose sunshine builders and retrofit repair a hundred time. Had the best experience with them for a seismic retrofit. They were quick, clean, and efficient.

The team was excellent and did a great and clean job. Joe was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions thoroughly and gave me a very fair price for the work. Would definitely recommend.

Do not do business with this company! Filed complaint with CA Contractor State License Board for abandonment. Hired this company to draw blueprints for 100ft room addition with city and HOA approval. Said it should it would be done in 2 months, but drew up contract with 6 months completion date (which they say was customary). Close to 3 weeks after completion date on contract, no Blueprints or approval, paid $3,500, they won't return text or call.

We found Sunshine Builders through Angie's List and relied on its good rating here. After working with this company, I cannot recommend anyone working with this company! They charged a lot of money to fix a balcony. They promised to get all building permits required. Then in the middle of the project I learned that they had not obtained the permits. As licensed general contractors they should know in advance if permits are needed and what is required to obtain them. This did not inspire confidence in their professionalism. We had to therefore suspend the project for a few weeks as we hired an engineer / architect (via Sunshine Builders) to do a structural study and prepare plans. Meanwhile the balcony had already been torn apart and we had a tenant who had to use plank boards for a few weeks to access his apartment. Sunshine Builders took much more time than agreed, and even then there remains a lot of work to be performed to remedy defects. There are serious problems with their work that they promised to fix after we've paid the entire amount. After 3 attempts to fix, the same problems remain. They sent an expert and promised to do whatever the expert said. The expert recommended undoing the work performed to see underneath. Since then I cannot get Sunshine Builders to return my calls. Also, in the past 4 months, I have had 4 project managers assigned to our project, each who was going to "make sure everything is fixed". However, within a week or so when I call the project manager I learn he is no longer working for Sunshine Builders. The owner, Yehuda Sabban has personally promised to make sure the problems are fixed. Yet, now he does not return my calls or e-mails. He seems to reneg on his promise to follow what the expert recommended. I'm seriously concerned that the company is falling apart and will not stay in business much longer. Run Run Run before trusting this company, which seems to subcontract all the work out and to have serious cash flow problems. Apparently the subcontractors (who actually do the work) stop working for Sunshine because they are not paid for their work. Do not pay too much money upfront or you will see it lost, like we have. I have photos at several stages of the project. Their project manager (supposedly also a subcontractor), Guy Portal, also took hundreds of photos at every stage, yet because he left on bad terms from Sunshine Builders, Sunshine Builders does not have these photos to help identify the source of the problems. The attached photo shows only one of the cracks (after being fixed 3 times and each time re-appearing in the same place. Sunshine Builders was supposed to finish with a waterproof coating. As you can see in the photo, there seems to be a thin layer of finish, which started to peel with a couple days of being applied.

The "ADD" said "$19 for Kitchen 3D Plans. - But the company tries to Up-Sell you and doesn't give you the plans! - FRAUD!

We just did our complete remodeling to our master bathroom. We met with Beni and Eran several times before we hired them. After we listened to their ideas, checked their history and company, we hired them to do the remodeling job. We received the quality results as promised and at the original price that was set and promised before we signed the contract. There were no hidden charges during the work and even after it was finished. The new master bathroom is exactly as what we wanted and it looks very beautiful. We would recommend Sunshine builders for any remodeling project such as ours or similar.

We completed our project last month. Eli Susan who was our project manager among his wonderful crew did an amazing remodeling job by upgrading our master bathroom including the replacement of all the windows at our house. The remodeling of the bathroom included the conversion of the walking shower to a larger shower and make it handicap accessible. Eli Susan was very skilled and hardworking man. He always kept us informed up to date about the work and his help made this project -- a great experience. We would recommend Sunshine builders to others and our tip is to request Eli Susan as their project manager. It was absolutely a pleasure working with him..

A few months ago, my wife and I had Sunshine builders remodel our Master Bathroom and master bedroom. Our Project Manager Earn was totally remarkable person to deal with. We couldn’t be happier. The customer service and quality of work were at the highest level. Eran was always on top of the remodeling project and he visited our house almost every day from start to end. We received many great compliments for how the new bedroom and bathroom came out. Thank you Sunshine builders, and even more thanks for Eran and whoever was part of this remodeling!

Eran did an awesome remodeling job for us. We hired him not to be used as a designer only but to really help coming up with several good ideas that will make our remodeling project better than what we imagined it to be. Eran have great people that can do excellent tasks (each one in his own trade) which was very important because it just made this project as high end one. Eran was able to start and finish the remodeling project on time and with 100% perfection. Eran was very detail oriented person (and we noticed that very clear during the work and meetings that we had) while we didn’t need to worry about checking and looking over his shoulder. Several things were not good and Eran took them down and redid them till he felt that they were perfect. We highly recommend Eran and Sunshine Builders for any remodeling project (small or big). We were very happy with him, his team and office staff and of couse that with the final results.

My rating for this company is no less than 5 stars! My experience working with the Sunshine builders Team, generally and mainly with our project manager Guy -- was excellent. Guy supervised my kitchen, living room area & bathroom remodeling projects at our home. He provided us with a complete designing plan and detailed estimate for that project while making sure that the budget was kept as agreed, not including few changes that we asked to do during the work. Guy and his team were all very knowledgeable and excellent communicators. I highly recommend Sunshine builders and I will keep working with them again if I need to remodel any other part at my house.

I was referred to Yehuda by one of my friends who had a semi similar remodeling project done at his house and he was very satisfied and happy with the work that Sunshine builders did for him. Yahuda was very responsive, skilled, honest and great project manager. The remodeling work started on the day that was set and agreed by me and the crew was also skilled, clean and easygoing. The work that was done by Yehuda was to do a complete master bathroom remodeling from the stud and up. Yahuda delivered to me everything that he promised and a little bit more than that.

Yehuda and the team at Sunshine builders were very professional, hardworking, experienced and pleasure to work and deal with. Their attention to all the details in the project made this project very easy and stresses less. Due to all of that, we can state that we are looking forward to hire them again in the future.

Sunshine builders removed and installed all of our existing windows with energy efficient ones including a sliding door, did several stucco repairs and painted the exterior exterior house and we couldn’t more satisfied from the whole process. Eran who worked with us as the supervisor is truthful, skilled and very easy person to talk to, work with & deal with. The overall service we got was excellent and we know we couldn’t be treated better by anyone else. Due to our satisfaction, we already referred them to others and we hope to hire them in the future for additional work we may have in the near future!

If we summarized our remodeling project, we will say that Yosi is the person that you will want to manage your remodeling project!!!!! we can’t write enough about his personality and working crew. They are all absolute professionals. Everything was performed within the time frame we agreed on and with the highest remodeling standards. Our brand new kitchen looks perfect! The crew was very polite, skilled and worked very hard to get the remodeling project done to our satisfaction. Guy was in contact with all the relevant updates regards the remodeling and he was there for us most of the time to answer any questions we had. His ideas really made a huge impact in the way the kitchen came out. His skills and vision made this work so easy. The new kitchen is now the main place where we usually spend most of our time. We couldn’t be happier and pleased. We currently have more plans on remodeling additional sections at the house and we won’t call anyone else – that’s for sure.

We came across Sunshine builders via a close friend who hired them before and were very happy with them. Based on that, we went ahead and hired them as well for a complete remodeling of our existing 2,600 SF house in marina Del ray, which was our new investment and a flip. Yosi was honest, well-priced, and very skilled and the final results were exceptional. Yosi and Guy were both the project managers and they were wonderful. They were accessible to us during the whole remodeling time and we will definitely hire them again.

We hired them for our bathroom remodeling project. We are very happy with how the remodeling came out. We do recommend them for anyone who is interesting in any similar project.

If I will have to summaries’ my experience with Sunshine builders it will be perfect. The remodeling was finished perfectly and within the time frame that was set ahead. Our project manager Guy, was very professional and with %100 involvement. Guy took very good care of our house and the crew were extremely skilled, hardworking, careful and easygoing in every step of the remodeling. If we had any question or concern about anything, Guy would listen to us and do all he could to make us happy even if it was required to make some changed to the original plan. Also the designer did a great job by providing so many good ideas that included backsplash, cabinets, paint styles and even all the appropriate finishes. The kitchen cabinets are perfect for us and we use all the new functionality of them including the additional storage space. Sunshine builders was by far the most excellent choice we have done.

We hired Sunshine builders in order to have our master bedroom and bathroom remodeled completely. Beni was fantastic on the personal level and as the project manager. The work that they did was so precise and the remodeling process went very smooth. We covered all the details during the design stage and even during the work while Beni made some changes that were requested by us. Each stage went according to the plan and Beni made sure that no delays will take place so the work will finish on time and as agreed. All the workers and the office staff were easy going people and polite. Certainly a company that earned our recommendation!

Sunshine builders designed and built our gorgeous kitchen, Master bathroom and laundry room. Yosi including his people, were able to finish the remodeling project completely in 8 weeks. That time frame included demolishing completely all the remodeling spaces and rebuild them. Everyone in this project included the office staff was very honest, hardworking and skilled. We are very pleased with the final results and we do recommend Sunshine builders to all our friends and family. We actually have additional plans to re-hire them again for our house.

After few meetings with Yosi, we decided to hire them and to sign a contract with Sunshine Builders for our major garage remodeling project. Our project included an addition to the existing space of the garage that will allow us to have another car storage and a semi large laundry space. The work was massive work that was based on a daily work that was managed by Yosi and was executed by his workers. The work took close to 2 months and during that time we were in a contact communication with Yosi. The results of the garage remodeling beyond our expectations and we truly love how it came out mainly the laundry space. Highly recommended company.

Excellent work and wonderful experience. Both the office staffs and the working crew that were assigned to our house were wonderful. Sunshine builders was hired to do several remodeling projects for us... and during the work they didn’t mind doing also small tasks too. The remodeling included the remodeling of my half bathroom, paint the house and upgrading the garage and laundry. The consultation that we got from them was free and without the pushing feeling to sign any documents till we were ready. Eran was in continuous communication with us to make sure the work was going according to the plan and mainly as we wanted.

Such an amazing costumer service from Sunshine builders! Mainly from our project manager Eran who was very professional, honest and skilled during the entire remodeling. In our remodeling, we did our master bathroom from the ground up and we are very happy and satisfied. The remodeling project was completed within the time frame that was set by Eran and during the remodeling, Eran recommended us to do some electrical work (new panel, and addition of switches and outlets). I found Sunshine builders online as I was researching for concept ideas for my kitchen remodeling project that I wanted to do for a while now. Eran was the person we met with and he help us to make a decision of either upgrade the kitchen or to do a complete remodeling and start from scratch. After several meetings, we decided to go with the upgrade option and to give a face lift up to the kitchen. We were very pleased with the results of the work and mainly because they kept the project in budget and delivered us exactly what we wanted. Our house was cleaned everyday which was very helpful because we lived in our home during the construction. Our project manager - Eran worked great with both of us and he was easy person to talk to and he never hesitate to come over if we needed him.
