Juan Reyes is a very honest man. The service was high quality and professional. It was a big job and took two days. The crew showed up on time and were courtesy and respectful. Using thick plywood, they protected the drip irrigation lines for the turf replacement ground cover. The crew worked as a team and performed the job SAFELY. They cleaned up all the debris very nicely. I would use them again. Thank you !

I made a point of showing about a half a dozen surface roots radiating from the stump. I made it clear at the initial interview that I needed the surface roots removed and vertical underground roots down to 3 feet. I had interviewed other tree services and decided on Reyes even thought their price was a bit higher. They got my business because they were the ones that assured me they could get the deep underground roots and surface roots so that I could plant another tree in my front yard. As they were packing up,there was a fair amount of dirt and sawdust sprayed over the lawn. I was walking around trying to check the job, the two workers both assured me all roots had been removed. The layer of dirt and debris made it difficult to tell, but I took them at their word.After they left ) I even tipped them!) as I was prepping the site to have the new tree installed, i came across remnants of 3 of the 6 surface roots, including one that was over 3 feet long and 2 inches in diameter. I called the main number and, as usual, it went straight to voice mail. I was never able to get anyone directly when I called, always voice mail. The other times they at least got back to me, though it took 2 days for the return call. This time they never bothered to return my call at all. I left a message saying what the problem was and asking them to come out and finish the root removal. Never heard from them again. I waited 10 days to give them plenty of time to respond, but never a word. They no they did not perform the work to our agreement, but they did not have the professionalism to make right. I count on Angie's List as being a source of trustworthy services. I am writing this review to protect others from having asimilar experience to mine.

Reyes was $400 cheaper than two other companies we got bids from. They arrived on time, the employees did a great job and they cleaned up afterwards. They were careful not to let branches fall on our pool equipment. They even helped me fill containers with the mulch from our trees to use in our garden after they left. They were very polite. I would use again.

I had several trees trimmed: quite extensive trimming of 4 large trees, 2 smaller trees, one jacaranda, and had dead branches trimmed out of two orange trees. Juan's workers were punctual and arrived exactly when they said they would arrive. Juan arrived a few minutes later to review the work we were doing. I asked if they could also brush debris off my roof that was next to the jacaranda they were trimming, and they did. They also trimmed a couple of branches off another small tree that weren't part of the original estimate (without extra charge). The employee who trimmed the orange trees did a masterful job. (He did it carefully and artfully.) They went over and above the call of duty by not only fastidiously cleaning up all the debris from their trimming, but took away piles of fallen leaves that I had raked up prior to their arrival. (That was a big help to me!) What I especially appreciate is the quality customer service provided by Juan and his employees. I had another company give me an estimate before I had Juan's, but the man from the other company rushed in and out. Juan took his time explaining the work they would do and gave me advice when I had questions. I highly recommend this company and will use them again.

These guys were great they cleared up our backyard with various tasks and cleaned up everything great job all in all.

The professionalism and quality of work provided by Reyes Tree Service was of the highest quality. The workers and equipment showed up on time. The crew was professional in appearance and manner. I reviewed what was going to be done with the crew leader and then the men got right to work. It wasn't long before Juan, the owner, showed up. He actually returned repeatedly throughout the day to check on the progress of the job. I really appreciated his close supervision but the men were so skilled and experienced, Juan's supervision was not necessary. Every worker knew what his part of the job was to be and they worked together like a finely oiled machine. Clean up is very important to me and this company left my property looking great. The trees look amazing, too. It was also an added bonus to work with someone as friendly and pleasant as Juan. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for tree service. I will most definitely use this company in the future.

We are new to home ownership and this was our first experience having our 100 year old elm tree trimmed. The tree is very large and the branches heavy and full with the branches extending over the house and garage. There are low hanging electrical wires (thank you city of LA) that intersect with portions of the tree. One of the reasons we hired Juan is he's licensed and we felt the job could be dangerous and cause liability issues if given to the wrong company. We met with Juan to get a quote. He was on time, very knowledgable and honest. His quote was $200 less than a quote we'd received from an unlicensed vendor. His employees showed up on time and were very polite and skilled. They covered our roof (house and garage) and other backyard plants so there was no damage from the heavy branches cut down. We love the work they did because the tree's shape was left intact but the excess taken away. We are planning on hiring Juan at least once a year.

Called these guys up to trim some trees for us that had branches sticking out from every where. Everything from setting an appointment to the actual service went smoothly with no problems thankfully. Great service from a great company thank you.

We are very satisfied with Juan's crew. They are professional and skillful. They worked very hard from 7:30 am to dark and did a very thorough and neat trim of our hedges. Price is also very good compared with other quotes. We are using them again to do other tree jobs in our yard.

The gardeners from Reyes Tree service & Gardening did a wonderful job. They trimmed our trees made it look really nice, and even cleaned up for themselves. The price to us was acceptable especially because they provided us with excellent service.

Mr. Reyes came out when he said he would, left a written bid. He was extremely nice on the phone when I called and he booked my job within a week. We took out the largest of the two front trees, aprox 50-60 feet tall and decided to put off grinding the stump until he returned the following week and would do both at the same time. His crew are exceptionally polite, clean and thorough. They cleaned up beautifully and left the lawn in perfect shape. If you didn't see the stump you would never know there was a massive tree removed. I am so happy with their work both times. I can not recommend more highly his service. I am sure their trim work would be just as beautiful.

Reyes Tree Service trimmed our juniper trees, taking off about 5-6 feet off the top and trimmed the sides that were overhanging. It looks so nice, very nicely manicured. They also removed a 25-30 ft. dead tree from our parkway. The city said there was no money for them to remove it so they issued us a permit to have it removed. Reyes did such a great job, it's almost like it was never there. They were very punctual for the consultation, the price was right, and they did a very professional and neat job. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend.

Made an appointment to have 2 trees trimmed at my house. He Never showed up or called after we set the cost and the day the work was scheduled to start. My wife even took the day off from work to wait for him. I called at least 5 times and left several messages but he never called back. Very unprofessional.

They were very prompt in setting up appointments, right on time on the day of project, and very quickly gave me the sense that they really knew what they were doing. They even talked me out of doing a few things that other companies had recommended for fear of hurting the trees. At the end of the day, they even trim my bushes and got on the roof and cleaned all the pine needles so that the finished product looked awesome.

Juan runs a great crew. I would hire them again in a heart beat. He came in exactly on budget. There were no surprise charges. His crew showed up on time and worked hard all day. His prices for the retaining wall and leveling were fair. He communicated well and was on time everyday. The tree trimming was the highest bid we received, but Juan was the only one who talked about keeping the beauty of the tree, he talked extensively about the shape and look when they would be done, and he wasn't going to hack the tree to death. the other companies came out, looked at the tree for literally 30 seconds and rattled off a quote. His crew came out did the work and left our backyard cleaner than when they showed up. The even removed our outdoor lights that were strung on the tree and replaced them better than I had strung them up the first time. After we finish our next project in the yard, we are going to hire them again to come out and finish landscaping the whole thing. So we are going to hire them again and you should too :-)

Juan and his crew were here right on time and finished 30 minutes or so before estimated time. They were fast, efficient and thorough. The stump was completely removed and they took all the debris with them. They cleaned up nicely as well. All in all, they made it as pain free as possible and left us with a clean space, ready for construction and replanting.

Everything went really well. Job was professionally done. Juan and his crew showed up on time. They did a great job and cleaned up really well. No muss, no fuss! Reasonably priced. We would definitely use them again.

Juan and his crew were outstanding. Juan arrived early on the day of my scheduled estimate and I was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. I showed him the trees with which I was concerned and he noticed an old stump in the front yard and an Oleander in poor condition. He presented me with written estimate and a couple of days later I scheduled the job. His crew of 5 was equally wonderful today. They arrived promptly and reviewed all the work to be done with me. Juan also stopped by to confirm plans for the job. While at the property, Juan noticed some of the neighbor's trees encroaching on the side of my home and offered to trim those as well at no additional cost. The crew communicated when questions arose to assure they were completing the job as I wished. Their work was exceptional and the clean up amazing. Removing the palm trees necessitated removing other existing plants and they replanted these for me as well. Juan and each member of his crew exceeded all expectations. I will use them again for any future needs and recommend them most highly.

Juan Reyes was here before his crew to make the introduction to the team. Oscar was the lead of a team of four and he climbed the tree cutting branch by branch and dropping them to the ground. The team arranged the fallen branches to make a soft pit so that when it came time to start cutting the trunk of the tree the cut pieces of trunk could be dropped without damaging (what's left of) the lawn. It took an hour to cut down a tree that probably took 40 years to grow but the tree was leaning and could potentially be a danger to my neighbors' property. They also used a stumper to take out the tree stump. They protected my plants and fences and hauled the trunk and branches from my back garden through a narrow breezeway to the front of the house where their truck was. Their clean up was impeccable and they also cleaned up everything that fell on my neighbors' property. They were punctual, efficient, professional and polite. The whole job was completed in 4 hours. They are excellent at what they do and I will call them any and every time I need trees trimmed or removed. Too bad I can't add photos.

Guys were great they seemed very nice. They kept busy did a great making our lawn look as nice as one can get it. I want to thank these guys for their hard work on working on the yard and also cleaning up for themselves.

Very complete service and cleanup. Juan's guys also did a great job of leveling off the stump as specified as well as making three level sections for seats.

Mr. Reyes and 5-crew members arrived at 7.30 a.m., as promised. Promptly started working. 2-crew members started on the Cypress trees and the other members worked on the Ash tree. It was such a HOT day, so we provided cold sodas and bottled waters throughout the day. (They had their own drinks, but we were so HAPPY with the progress, we wanted to make sure they were hydrated). The crew worked HARD! As the branches came down, another person would move the branch over to the "chipper' machine. The person climbing the Ash tree and cutting down the branches was an AMAZING worker! VERY methodical and cautious! They finished around 3 p.m. and cleaned up ALL the area!! We were VERY pleased!

The guys were great we had a mess with the brushes and decided to call these guys up to help us out. They came on time and immediately began to work. they did a great job the yard looks real nice.
