At first I was really excited to have Juan and his team do the work. Juan came off very professional. However, when I got home I noticed that they didn't follow instructions very well. Instead of trimming rose/flower bushes they were cut off completely. The backyard was left a mess. They didn't complete the job well. When I told Juan of my concerns he acted like it was no big deal (thought I was making too much out of it). It doesn't leave a good impression on a first time customer!! I feel like I was taken advantage of because they say an opportunity to make money. To say the least, I will never use him again. I will be calling Angies List on Monday to discuss what I experienced.

Juan and his crew did a fantastic job in all aspects the area was left clean and the Pine looks incredible!

Mr. Reyes and his workers did an excellent job, were prompt, professional, tidy. Substantial amount of work done in a few hours; yards and trees completely new in appearance following. Highly recommended.

All this work went very well. Juan, the owner, was on time for initial appointment and provided advice and a cost estimate on the spot. When we approved go-ahead a day or so later he sent his crew of four in the next day. They were exactly on time and did an excellent job over a half day. All four were polite, friendly and efficient; thoroughly cleaning up after the work was completed. I highly recommend Reyes Tree Services. I asked Juan to do a forward- looking plan for the drought damaged slope behind our house.

Great. Juan's men came and went to work trimming, pruning the trees that needed it and removed the invasive ficus tree. They cleaned up everything also blowing out my gutters.

Juan was very punctual, professional and honest. He gave a fair estimate & got the work done in one day. All plants & decorative items in yard were carefully worked around. The tree turned out beautiful - the best work ever done on that tree. We will hire him again for more trees soon.

The gardeners are good. Very nice, good at what they do. However, like one of the previous reviews on AL recently, responsiveness is terrible. Gardeners have not shown up two times in a row now on the scheduled day. In both cases i've had to call Juan to track them down. Have left numerous messages on his cell and in the office to call me, yet he never bothers to respond. Instead, he's sent the guys out the next day (Saturday's) without checking with me first. On the one day a week my family can sleep in they were cutting and blowing at 8:00 a.m. I left another message to discuss with Juan, however again, no response at all. Four weeks and not a single call back. Maybe new business is the priority now, not existing customers. Not sure what's changed, they used to be really good.

The work was fine, and the price was a little high, but fair. The problem I ran into was when I called Juan for an estimate at the beginning of 2017. I needed to have several citrus trees trimmed. Juan came out and gave us an estimate. We agreed to have the work done. Juan said they were a bit behind with their workload because of the rains we had had recently. He said it would be a week or two before he could get to our job. We said fine. After about a week, I called to see when we could be scheduled. All I got was a recording. I called several times after that, and still got only a recording. No one ever called me back. There is really just a short window for trimming citrus trees after harvest and before they start blooming. Unfortunately, after waiting around for Juan to get back to us, our trees began blooming. They didn't get pruned, so now I have to find someone to do the work this year. I definitely won't be calling Juan. I guess the job wasn't big enough. He had bigger and better things to do. I wish he had the courtesy to not string us along and just tell us he wasn't interested in the job. He obviously doesn't respect his customers' time!

The tree trimming in June 2017 turned out very well. A+. The hedge trimming in July 2017 looks really bad. We requested that a hedge be reduced in height about 2 feet. There are many areas on the side of the hedge now that have large openings that I assume were cut so that a person could get through? I really don't know anything about hedge trimming but our hedge nearly died and has enormous gaps on the sides of the hedge. On the bright side, the company is very professional and responsive and prompt. I would recommend them for tree trimming but not hedge trimming. Thank you.

I hired Juan Reyes and his crew do some cleanup in my landscaping as well as replacing a wooden planter, in July - August 2017. They did a terrific job and were thoughtful, professional, hard-working, and careful of details. I appreciated Juan discussing various options with me, such as removing a tree with/without stump removal, and different types of materials that can be used to build a planter. One of the things they did was clear off vines that had climbed up and around the telephone cables above my backyard - which another tree service (Kerry’s) had REFUSED to do! Unlike Kerry’s Tree Service, Juan Reyes and his crew were very careful not to scrape or knock anything over while carrying branches out to their truck. I would definitely hire them again. There was a little confusion as to the date of the job. The tree trimmers just showed up one morning, before a date was set! Our schedule permitted it, though. The guys worked quickly and expertly. They cleaned up well. Juan's estimate was by far the lowest of the three we received. The highest was more than 3 times his! In addition, he spent the most time educating me on how the trees should be trimmed and why. He's a great guy and runs a great business. I would hire him again in a heartbeat!

This was a hard working crew which got the job done in two days. Efficient and impressive. I will definitely call Juan in a year to trim and maintain the trees going forward.

They came once a week and blew dead leaves out of the yard. Over about a year, they did less and less. No blowing around the sides of the house, no trimming of flowers and bushes. I asked them to clear some dead branches, they smiled and said yes but did nothing. It became a dense tangle of brush, so I asked them to clear it a little at a time over a few weeks,they smiled and said yes but again, did nothing. It had been a busy year but eventually I had time to do it myself. It wasn't so hard for me, a woman closing in her 60th birthday. I have to assume that the this yard service is a different crew to the brush clearance service who are well reviewed. The yard service crew truly did the bare minimum, rarely staying more than 10-15 minutes per week, and not even turning up every week. Needless to say, I no longer use them.

Juan and his crew were very professional. They did a great job removing the stump and roots and cleaning up the yard. They did an outstanding job digging up the drain pipe and clearing out the roots and replacing the pipe.

It was not a complex job, but they were super prompt, quick, professional, and did solid work. Their prices were also very competitive. Reyes did the job for about half the cost of some of the other vendors I had give bids. The owner is also very knowledgable and a nice no-BS guy. If they do good work, and are a lot cheaper, why go anywhere else? I'll definitely bring them back when I have other needs on my property.

I couldn't have asked for better customer service, professionalism, reasonable cost, great crew, neat work. I did not have to pick up one leaf! Juan was prompt in returning my call, and he and his crew worked me into their busy schedule. I strong urge to to contact and hire Reyes Tree Service & Gardening. I will definitely contact them for any future work.

Everything went well. I called and made an appointment for an estimate. Juan showed up the next day, and I hired him. I contacted four companies and Reyes Tree Service had the best price. The workers showed up on time and did a great job. They were polite and respectful. They also cleaned everything, and I am very happy with the results.

Came on time and did a professional job, including nice clean up job. Used Reyes two years ago based an the good job they did then. Might not be the cheapest, but the price charged is reasonable for the professional job they do. 5 men worked on this job that took about 7 hours, including lunch period. Good value in my opinion. This is professional, not two guys with chain saws and a pick-up truck.

They did an execellent job. I needed the hedge cleared to put in a new fence. The fence contractor commented on what a good job they did. They also trimmed a very large ficus hedge trimmed a tree and removed several dead trees.

AWESOME! Juan Reyes gave us a great and fast quote. His team did an amazing job! They not only removed and trimmed the trees in a timely manner, but they cleared all the trimmings as if they were never here. I highly recommend this company. We have used them twice now and will continue to use their services.

I can't begin to tell you how fantastic and wonderful this company is. Through and complete does not begin to convey the quality of their work. I have never had the pleasure of a saying now this is a gardening service!!! I want everyone who is struggling with so called grass mowers to know quality, and professionalism does still exist.

Juan did a great job of calling me back and coming in to give me an estimate. He was willing to work on the price and we hired him to trip huge Pine and eucalyptus trees from my neighbors yard. He also had his crew cut down three dead trees and have them stumps ground. In my neighborhood there are many trees and many tree service companies that work here. I've seen there work and was very impressed. In fact my neighbor across the street used another company and they left a mess in front of my house, and I vowed not to call them. Juan's crew was the opposite, they did a good job and made sure the job site was left the way they came.
