Spoke with the owner on the phone. He agreed to view the property to provide a quote for lawn care / yard maintenance. He gave a 2 day window, then did not show up, call, return or accept calls.

Juan Reyes and his crew are very professional. They were on time, they worked very hard, and they worked very clean--meaning that they had ways of transporting the trash (old plants, branches, dirt, etc) efficiently and when they left each evening everything was broom clean and tools were put away. When they were transplanting the plants to the front of the property, I had the guys arrange the plants in a few different ways before making up my mind where they should be planted. They were very patient and good natured about it and we were very happy with the outcome. Juan Reyes had many ideas and suggestions for the landscaping that helped to create an absolutely beautiful outdoor environment. It is a pleasure to work with people you trust to do the work properly.

Reyes Tree Service & Gardening will always get my business. We moved into a property that had YEARS of neglect to deal with and he and his crew took care of it in a day! Clean up afterward was as diligently handled as the tree service itself. The place never looked so good! Great job!

It went well. I was a little concerned about the stump grinding as I had had an unfavorable experience in 1995 with a stump grinder who had cut into a neighbor's underground phone cable. I was grateful that Reyes' people were careful to avoid a buried wire near the stump that they had removed. I had cautioned them about this before they started. I periodically checked the job's progress and after they had finished one tall tree I found some branches too close to overhead wires. After I pointed this out to them, they quickly removed the branches. This was the only flaw that I found in an otherwise perfect job. The whole job took three men about 9 hours but because of triple-digit temperatures had to be split into two days. This shows their justifiable respect for this hazardous work. Juan Reyes, who made the estimate, showed me their million-dollar liability insurance statement. Of the three-man crew, two of them spoke English.

Service was efficient, thorough, and professional. Juan was very pleasant to work with. I would have hired him for regular yard maintenance, but his crew does not do that work in my area.

We had four trees that needed to be shortened from the top and thinned out. I was set to hire Juan but my neighbor and I had a miscommunication. Long story short, he was also getting his trees trimmed at the same time and was getting quotes from the companies I got a quotes from. I guess he thought I was hiring another guy we got a quote from and they showed up to trim our trees the following day. I could not say no then so I let them do the work. I will be hanging on to Juan's contact info and will keep him in mind the next time we need to get our trees trimmed. His quote was competitive and with all the positive reviews of him and his crew, it tells me that the reviewers are pretty happy with his service. He was professional, courteous and understood what I wanted done.

We looked them up on Angie's List. It was a good experience. They did like everything they said they would do. They came on time. They did the work they said they would do, for the price that we said to do it. We were a little bit unsure like that the workers came and they did the job and then we kind of wanted them to come back as a couple of the sprinklers did not seem to be working perfectly. So, the actual owner, Juan, came with the original work crew and they spent another like half day really just making sure everything was perfect. Re-fixing a couple of things that may be we did not think were completely done right, but he came in pretty soon and like did a really good job. They were reasonable, we got cheaper quotes but the reason why we went with him was because he had so many other good reviews on Angie's List. He was not the cheapest price, but it was a reasonable price and they did a good job, they did what they said, and it was done in the time that they said it would be done, in a quick time.

Mr. Reyes and his team did a great job! They arrived early, worked quickly and diligently, did a thorough job, and cleaned up nicely after themselves! It was a pleasure working with Mr. Reyes and we'd definitely use them again for any future jobs.

Juan was the third company to give us a quote on trimming our trees. He wasn't the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive. I made the mistake once of going with the cheapest company. They did a hatchet job and it took years for our trees to grow back in and look good again. I didn't want to make that mistake twice and I didn't when I hired Reyes Tree Service. Juan and his crew did an amazing job of cutting back all of our trees and removing all the dead branches and our trees look amazing. It's like the difference between a good haircut and a bad one. Not only that, they took great care to make sure they didn't damage any of our sprinklers, fence and furniture we had in the backyard. Best part, when they left our backyard was immaculate. Everything was cleaned up and all you saw were our beautifully trimmed trees. I'll be using Reyes Tree Service from now on! Thanks Juan!

Juan was able to come in to give me an estimate 2 days after my call. His estimate was a lot lower than some companies I had talked to and comparable to others but he seemed very professional and very accommodating not to mention all his great reviews on Angies so I gave him the job. His crew came in about a week later as scheduled and on time, did a fantastic job and left the place spotless. I will hire him again next year.

Tree Removal Spectacular - Juan was able to give me an estimate the same day I called and then by that Friday his crew was eager to remove the trees. The trees were removed quickly and cleanly. His crew was very professional and verified with me what service was required. The price was very reasonable - I had paid a little less to have 7 of the trees topped 4 years ago. My father stayed at the house so someone was home. So when I came home, I was truly impressed. All my neighbors say that my house looks better. I am so glad I hired Juan and his crew. They made this project seamless. Thanks again.

I was very happy in the first meeting with Mr. Reyes. Very friendly and helpful. Came even though we were a distance away from his home base. The day of work, the worker all showed up on time, did their work very carefully and did not damage any other areas near area of work. Finally cleaned up everything before leaving. Mr. Reyes came and made sure all was going well and that all was being done as agreed. WE were very happy with all services done.

Juan came out and gave us an estimate to remove two fairly large trees that were growing too close to a shared patio wall. We got two other estimates from Angie's List tree specialists, but Reyes was the best estimate that included grinding the stumps. Juan and his crew arrived on time and got to work very quickly. The trees' branches were growing over our garage roof on one side, and our home roof on the other, and both structures have tile roofs. Juan had explained to me that each segment of each tree would have to be carefully cut and lowed down by one employee while another employee removed it and ferried it to the driveway where it could be mulched up by their truck. The tree trunks were within 8 inches of a wall, so grinding out the stumps was also a serious challenge. Juan and his guys had a fairly compact stump grinder, but using it that close to a wall required extreme care. None the less, the guys got the majority of the stumps ground out using the grinder, and used axes to chop up and remove those sections that were too difficult to reach with the grinder. Please note that there were buried sprinkler pipes in the immediate area near the stumps, and the guys disconnected and removed them before grinding, and reconnected and reburied them after they were done. In addition to doing an amazing job removing the trees and stumps, the team cleaned up after themselves extremely thoroughly, including a complete clean up of our patio, our neighbor's patio, and the street where they were grinding up the tree branches. And, as if that weren't enough, they even cleaned out the gutters in the immediate area where the trees were, which had been jam packed full of old pine needles. All in all, we couldn't be happier with the outstanding job Juan and his team did... and for a price that seems like an an absolute bargain considering the time and effort it took to do the job they did.

They did a great job. Mr. Reyes gave the best rate and the quality of the work was superb. The workers were professional, fast and cleaned up extremely well after the job. I would definitely use them again to take care of our trees.

I interviewed 5 different lawn companies over the course of a week. I chose Juan because he gave amazing suggestions as well as listened to my needs and wishes for the yard. His price was reasonable and he was able to start the job within a week and a half. It took him less than a week to finish this very large project. Juan was on site every day to communicate what was happening and check on his crew. I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

All, Juan Reyes arrived on time for the estimate. The estimate was more than we expected (more later). We agreed on a price and his return that afternoon. They arrived on time and as Juan breifed them, they started their assignments. By the end of the day the work was done. The amount of work was far more than we expected, like the estimate, but well worth the cost. The best recomendation we can give is that we will call Juan Reyes for our next project. (His crew arrived pretty promptly to set up and get started. Juan was there almost the entire day supervising. There was a total of 7 men. They worked steadily (except for when we had to wait for the bee guy to get rid of the bee hive they found!) through the day from 9 until almost 6 p.m. The workmen were careful with my other plants and shrubs. It was a massive tree and I was very impressed that there wasn't any damage from falling or lowered limbs to the lawn, house or folliage (a couple of gladioli did get bent, but that was so minimal). Juan and his crew exhibited great knowledge, competency and care during the entire project. The men were very pleasant, cooperative and accommodating. I am planning on using Juan again with some small landscaping projects.

They came on time and started working. The crew is meticulous and does an excellent work. They are also very courteous and friendly. After they finished, they did clean up everything and you would not believe that we just had some tree job done.

I had several tree trimmers come to the property to give estimates. Juan was the most knowledgable about the different types of trees on the property and the best plan for maintenance. We did the work in three rounds, and each time his workers were punctual and did a great job. They didn't just cut the trees back, they gave the trees shape and removed many small trees from the hillside that Juan told me could have given me problems down the line. I will definitely be using this company moving forward and will continue to refer Juan to friends and family.

I contacted Reyes Tree Service & Gardening on evening of Tuesday, April 9, 2013 to request a quote and to my surprise Mr. Reyes responded within thirty minutes. We arranged a time for him to assess the tree within the same week. Mr. Reyes arrived and provided a reasonable quote and was kind enough to answer several questions regarding other potential projects. We scheduled to have the work done the follow week. Mr. Reyes' team arrived on Friday, April 19 midday and completed the job by 5:30pm. Not only did they do a wonderful job trimming and shaping the tree they left my front yard very clean. I would highly recommend Reyes Tree Service & Gardening!

Once I chose to hire him after giving me a very competitive estimate, he quickly set up the date. His crew came on time and finished the job in 5 hours. I was working and did not see while they were doing their job, but it was very obvious that they did a good, through job. The only thing was that I did not catch the drain cleaning was not included in the estimate and I had to ask him to come back to do it. He did it with no extra charge a few days later. I am very happy with his job and I will definitely contact him for the next clean up.

Mr. Reyes returned my call quickly and made an appointment to give me an estimate on removing our front lawn (sod) and installing sprinkers. He was very friendly, professional, and punctual. Unfortunately, his estimate came in at much more than we are willing to spend at this time.

There isn't anything to tell. He showed up for the estimate was clean and professional, but otherwise not interested in the job. He left. Didn't follow-up with me. So, I"ll move on to the next candidate.

Everything went very smoothly. Pricing was very competitive. The crew arrived on time, did an excellent job, was very professional and I couldn't ask for anything more on a big job as big this. Highly recommended.

Juan's crew arrived promptly to start this work that took 4 days to complete. They are very professional and competent. This was the third time I had used their services and I was very confident they could do this dangerous job without any incidents. I was correct; they did a great job of safely removing the trees and doing a thorough clean-up afterward. I highly recommend Juan and his crew for any tree or landscaping work.
