Juan was fantastic. I called on a Sunday afternoon to see about getting an estimate. He came out within a couple of hours and gave me an excellent price. He offered to do the work the very next morning, was here on time, performed the entire job while I was at work, and left the yard spotless. The entire project was completed in less than 24 hours after the initial phone call. Juan is professional, polite, and courteous. I could not be happpier. Would definitely use him again.

We use Reyes every year to trim our palms, and back eugenia hedges. This year they also trimmed our magnolia tree back as well as the large tree in front of our house. They also removed and replaced some ficus hedges in the front. I'm always pleased with their service.

We brought them in to take out a tree that was ruining the driveway, as well as trim a dozen trees around the property. They came with an entire crew, and all of them got to work right away. After about 4 hours, all the trees were trimmed, and our problem tree was out. My wife and I saw them sitting out on the sidewalk taking a break, so we asked if they wanted lunch. They said, "No thank you, we're getting ready to leave." I was shocked that they got all that done in only 4 hours! I expected it to take all day! They even trimmed our hedges for us! We already recommended them to some of our neighbors.

Juan Reyes and his team were excellent! When I called for an estimate (on a Sunday) he answered and showed up a few hours later. I was not expecting quick customer service like that over a weekend (holiday weekend I might add). He gave me a great estimate and booked him on the spot. His team arrived on the day I asked, on time and ready to go!. The spend the entire morning on my property doing all the work as promised and ended up finishing earlier then expected. They cleaned up all their mess and the final result was exactly what I needed. My trees look great and healthy! I will for sure use them again in the future and he even told me he does landscaping work so I will be calling him again in the next few weeks.

I contacted Juan after reading other reviews on Angies List. His quote was higher than another quote I had received. When I told Juan that he matched that quote and I hired him to do the work. His workers were very professional. They removed a 30'+ Magnolia tree as well as trimmed a pear tree. I'm very happy with the work and the price. I will definitely use Reyes Tree Services again when needed.

Juan is a dream to work with. He is kind, professional, highly skilled & loves his work. His estimate was lower than the others but his work was absolutely 1st rate. I also knew I wanted to work with him over the others because I could tell that he is the man when it comes to trees. His crew were all top notch & were able to complete all the work in 1/2 a day. When they were done I was stunned to see that every single leaf was cleaned up & there was no sign that they were ever there. Incredible when you consider the huge piles of branches & debris that were generated while they were working. I highly recommend Juan Reyes for tree work and landscaping and will definitely use him again.

I called Mr. Reyes and we made an appointment for him to come give us a quote a few days later. I had another company coming to give a quote later that day. Mr. Reyes's quote was the lowest and we scheduled the work for a week later. Today his crew showed up and did an excellent job, particularly on the lemon tree, of thinning it out, bringing the height down, and making it look like one cohesive tree again, yet still leaving a little green on the outline. Very happy with the job.

I DID CONTACT MR. JUAN REYES AND HE DID COME AND PICK UP THE RED WOODCUTTER LUBRICANT CONTAINER AND PICKED UP A STRAY RATHER LARGE BRANCH THAT HAD NOT BE DISPOSED OF. MR. JUAN REYES WAS NOT RESPONSIVE TO THE FACT THAT THAT WOODCUTTER LUBRICANT CONTAINER COULD HAVE BEEN FATAL TO MY DOGS. I TOLD HIM THAT SINCE THE DOGS HAD ACCESS TO A FATAL LIQUID I WAS EXTREMELY WORRIED FOR THE SAFETY OF BOTH DOGS. I AM CONSULTING MY VET REGARDING THE SAFETY OF MY DOGS, DUE TO THIS INCIDENT.

Juan showed up right on time for both the visit to give a quote and also on the day of the tree removal. The crew was polite and professional and worked diligently. The work was done exactly as asked. Juan showed flexibility when we altered the exact complexion of the job, eliminating some aspects of the original quote and adding in others. The price was adjusted on the spot in a very fair manner. The crew cleaned up the work area very well when finished. None of the garden lights or other plants that they had to work around were disturbed (which was difficult because those things were dispersed throughout the trees and plants being removed). They were done with everything including cleanup in about 4 1/2 hours. We felt it was quality work at a fair price; his quote was exactly in the middle of the three we obtained ahead of time. This is a good business. After working with them we can see why they have so many postings on Angie's List and why almost all of their customers are happy with them.

Viewed reviews through member profile and determined it was a separate experience. Accepted the review.

We have an unusual piece of commercial property on a very busy street which was originally set up as owner/residence and commercial business with a large parking lot to serve the business. The Cypress are located at the fence line on the parking lot side and the fruit trees are located on the residential side. We needed the work done so not to interfere with customers and the parking lot. He arranged to arrive around 7am and would be out by the time we opened the business and needed the parking lot. He did it, on time, on budget and I would recommend his company very highly. Once I made contact with him he made the appointment on time for the estimate, called the day before to confirm. I am very pleased with his professionalism, courtesy and the quality of their work.

I did not use Mr. Reyes' services, but I would in the future. He was very professional and courteous and had lots of suggestions. I went out of town, and now have to book my hillside clean up for another date.

An appointment was set up and the time confirmed. Juan never showed up and never called to explain what had happened. I called him again and left a message asking him to call me back. He never did call.

The work was done quickly and professionally. I was initially pretty impressed. A bit pricey but quick and efficient. However when I went to take my garbage bins out the next weekend it became apparent that the workers used my recycling bin for their trash, which included the old pvc piping they replaced, organic waste (dirt, plant material, etc) and general garbage like lunch leftovers, grocery bags with food cartons etc which forced me to sort through the garbage. I am thinking for that price they should have managed their own haul away and at least could have been considerate about the resulting need to properly sort the garbage. Maybe minor but truly annoying.

All went well. Used JR for several years now. One tree is dying, not sure if it was the prunning or a gopher eating the roots. Will check with JR and I am sure I will get a reasonable response.

No complaints, they did a nice job trimming the tree, took away all the trimmings, were very punctual and professional and did it all for a reasonable price.

Juan and his wife came over on Sunday morning to assess the situation and gave me a quote with 20% discount as a member of Angie's list. His crew came during a weekday and completed the job while I was at work. They trimmed the branches and clear the ground. The quality of work is excellent and I did not have to be there while they performed the job.

Juan and his team did an outstanding job on my backyard. I needed several trees significantly trimmed in an effort to get more sunlight into my backyard and grow grass. I hired Reyes Tree Service to trim the trees (there were several and they were very tall and overgrown), update my sprinkler system (add some sprinklers, switch over to low pressure pop-up sprinklers) and lay down sod. I can't speak highly enough about my experience with Juan and his team. Communication was easy and seamless. They showed up when they said they were going to, did the work I asked as described in his bid, cleaned up beautifully after themselves and even went above and beyond the call of duty with some little surprises. For example, there were some old pavers laying near my back gate. When they left, they laid the pavers out to create a nice walkway from my back gate into my yard. I was very impressed with Juan and his entire team of guys. They were totally professional, friendly, got the job done and did it all for a very reasonable price. I will definitely hire Reyes Tree Service again in the future.

I was in desperate need for a tree service company because my neighbor has been complaining that my tree is growing into their property and close to damaging their roof. I have been postponing this notice for the longest so I just wanted to get it over with and trim my tree down. I called many companies but none were able to accommodate with me on a set date until I called Reyes Tree Service. I left them a message and two hours later I received a call back. Juan came by to give me an estimate and told me he could get started on the job right away. The price he quoted me was a bit too high for me, but like I said; I just wanted to get it over with. Juan assured me he would be able to trim the tree down to the trunk and be very careful with the neighbor?s roof. I decided to hire him since he was the only person who could do the job right away and already gave me the estimated quote. The following day, Juan and his crew arrived at 8am at my home and got straight to work. The whole job probably took them around 3 hours which I thought was really quick. Best of all, the neighbors roof was untouched just how Juan said it would be. The crew cleaned up after themselves and even went as far as cleaning the neighbor?s roof. I am glad Juan gave me a call back because thanks to him, I have my nagging neighbor off my back now. Thanks you guys!

The crew showed up right on time. They did a very nice job of removing the offending branches. All the branches and mess were cleaned up nice and neat. The tree looks great and the house is no longer threatened. I was very satisfied with the work.

It took a couple of days to haul on the dirt and over growth away.

After a rough start getting together over email, we switched to the phone and everything progressed well. I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism and absolutely delighted with the crew who did the actual work. They obviously had worked together for quite a while as they were very efficient, worked very hard and independently of each other. When they left each evening, everything was picked up, put away and cleaned up. They made me a very happy camper!

Got Juan's service last weekend. Left message and he called me back after 7 that evening (he does return his calls). Arranged for an estimate and he arrived exactly when he said he would. He was not the cheapest estimate, but his demeanor and equipment looked professional and he didn't try to upsell me. Arranged to have a huge palm tree removed from beside the house. His climber arrived early that morning (15 mins before 8) already in his climbing gear, ready to go. He went to work immediately and by1100 he had cut down an 85 foot palm tree ... by himself! That's 7 stories tall!! When the rest of the crew arrived that morning, I noticed all the equipment was newer and his guys knew how to use it. But what impressed me was that his guys were very professional. For example, one of his workers got on the roof to blow the debris off. When finished, he stayed up there until he asked his foreman if anything else needed to be done. The foreman pointed out he missed cleaning a gutter (he paid attention) and the guy blew it out. It wasn't without problems. The large stump grinder he had broke and he drove off and brought another one in an hour or so. Again, no muss, no fuss, just get it done attitude. Juan also removed several larger plants and ground down the stumps on two other trees, all for a very reasonable price. When he left at the end of the day, the yard was clean and all debris removed. If you need this service, call him. His price was well worth the value of the service!

Called and made an appointment for last Thursday for someone to come over and work out a price for doing the brush clearance on 3/4 of an acre. Had someone wait at home all morning but they never turned up or called. Messaged them today and this was the reply "but never saw the job", "you didn't go on Thursday?", "no", "oh ok, well then I'll try someone else. Thanks", "Thanks". Pretty hopeless bunch!
