I called Reyes Tree Service and Juan picked up the phone right away. I explained that I wanted to remove the 9 hedges on the side of my home. KJuan came out the next day and gave me a fair price for the service. I approved the bid and the work was performed the very next day..Juan came out with the crew of three and explained to the crew exactly what I had requested. The crew was great. They performed the work to perfection in about two hours and cleaned up perfectly. I would use Reyes Tree Service anytime. That are great!!

Juan was on time and showed up with two crews or the equivalent of eight guys. They worked non-stop less a short lunch and when done the trees looked great. In short, he was on time, professional, honored the pricing and left the property immaculate. Well done!

Juan Reyes responded to my Angie's List inquiry within a few hours and came out on New Year's Eve day to review the job. Before he left he gave me a written bid. I gave him the job on Friday and his crew and trucks were there first thing Monday morning. It took all day to complete the job. The crew was friendly and responsive. They cleaned up the area nicely when the project was done. They also noticed some other tree and bush trimming that was needed (palm trees and some bushes) and trimmed them without extra charge. They broke a sprinkler valve and a sprinkler head during the course of the work. Juan showed this to us and returned the next day and repaired the damage. Our neighbor came over and complimented the work done and the courteousness of the crew. We were very satisfied and would not hesitate to recommend Reyes to anyone.

Juan came out and gave me a very competitve quote. He provided me a copy of his Insurance Policy. His team was on time, very professional, and did an amazing job. Not only did they cut the trees, they went the extra mile to clean up all the extra leaves around my house and roof, and fix my fence that they had to reinstall. I highly recommend Juan and his team and would definetly use his team again.

After an intense windstorm on Christmas Eve during which our pepper tree was hitting our house, we knew we needed to get the tree trimmed quickly. We called Juan the Friday after Christmas and he returned our call within an hour. He was going to be out of town on Saturday, but made an appointment for Sunday morning. He was at our house on time Sunday morning and gave us a very fair estimate - $480 to trim the tree. Our weekly gardeners wanted $900. He also pointed out a tree in our front yard that needed a trim and offered to take care of it for an additional $20. We made an appointment for 8am Tuesday morning and they were at our house 15 minutes early and ready to go. The job was done quickly and efficiently, and they hauled everything away for us. Juan will be our first call any time we need this kind of service again.

I had Juan come out and quote a price for some tree trimming and stump removal. Seemed reasonable, was pleasant. I told him we had just moved in and it may take some time to get around to doing it. A couple months later I called and left a message to schedule the service. He never called back. I called again and talked to him, and he said he would call me back to schedule at time. He never called. I called a third time, left a message. No response. Called a fourth time. He told me he would schedule me for the following week, and would call me back to confirm. He never called back and never showed up. Apparently he didn't want the work...too bad, because we have another property that now has trees that need trimming. Time to start looking for someone else.

I had Juan and his team trim a total of ten trees on my property. Eight oak trees and two pine trees. His crew did an outstanding job and were very courteous. They did an excellent job cleaning up as well. I would definitely use Reyes Tree Service again!

I received a notice from the city that I needed a couple of dead trees cut down and hauled away, within a tight time frame. I called Juan, and he responded right away, gave me an estimate within a day, and had the work done within the week. Overall, I thought he was extremely professional and reasonable to work with.

I called and spoke with Juan and he came out the next day to provide an estimate. After getting three estimates, even though Juan's was higher than the other two, we felt more comfortable with how he approached what was needed and how he explained how his crew would handle the job. We booked a day and time for the work to be performed and Juan and his crew arrived on time. Juan explained to his crew what had to be done and they immediately got to work. I appreciated that Juan stayed for awhile and after leaving for a short time to provide an estimate on another job, came back as his crew was finishing up to make sure we were happy with the work. The crew was professional, fast and very thorough. I will definitely hire this company again.

I have used Juan for tree trimming services in the past and when he responds to my request for an estimate and actually shows up to do the job (Oscar is his wonderful tree trimmer) - Juan and Oscar are delightful to work with. Unfortunately, however, it is often an IF as to whether the work will get done. Oscar has done an amazing job trimming many my trees on about 3 separate occasions now. I would hire Oscar again in a heartbeat. Several years ago, Juan and his crew simply did not show up as promised to put in drip lines for some young trees (which have since died) and add river rock along the boarders. I guess the job at my home was simply forgotten. A week or two ago, I spoke with Juan about providing an estimate to cut back the neighbor's palm tree fronds which were rubbing against my garage roof. Juan said he'd come out on Saturday to take a look and would call me back; he never did. I called again a few days later and Juan said he would stop by, and call me afterwards. I never heard back from him ... I fully realize and appreciate that Juan and his crew are busy - good for them, but that does not excuse making false promises. We are only as good as our word - which is especially true for us small business owners. As a word of caution, if don't take care of your existing customers - you'll always be in search of new ones (which you have not yet disappointed, only to let them down later, after they have come to rely on you).

Juan picked up his phone immediately when I called for an estimate last week and showed up the next day on time to walk the property with my wife. He gave a detailed, itemized estimate with a 10% Angie's List discount. I called him later that day to discuss the quote (I agreed to the quote even though it was a lot to swallow, but given the amount of work we were asking for, it was a fair price) and to talk about scheduling. Juan called back a few days later with a definite date. Juan and his team of men and trucks showed up exactly on time early in the morning and proceeded to work the entire day until sundown leaving all of our trees beautifully trimmed and the property exactly how they had found it in the morning. The workers were friendly, professional, and accommodating when we requested "a little bit more off here, and a little bit more off there". All in all we are very happy with their work and the final results.

I contacted Mr Reyes and explained that I need a quote for the trimming of an Australian Willow and the replacement of my lawn with sod in the front and back. He agreed to stop by over the weekend, which he did not. I never heard back so I emailed him a few days later and he responded that he would stop by on a certain day and again he did not. Do you think I gave him a third chance? Nope, he was done. I figured he must have all the business he needs and/or his time management leaves a lot to be desired. In any case, I agree with the guy who said "I don't understand what all the great reviews are about?"

I had contacted several companies for quotes to remove old bushes/trees and plant a privacy hedge, but I ultimately went with Juan because not only was he fairly priced, but he was prompt and gave impeccable service. Juan came out and gave us a quote as well as his recommendations for the type of plant, how many trees to plant, etc. which was extremely helpful since I didn't know much about the different type of plants and what would be best for a privacy hedge. His team also did a drip system and trimmed a large tree in the backyard as a last minute request on the day of the job. I was impressed that it took his team only several hours to remove 13 cyprus trees and bushes (roots included) and plant new ficus plants for a privacy hedge. The job was quick, clean, and our hedge is growing in beautifully. I highly recommend Juan because not only are his prices fair, the work is done quickly and beautifully. Everything you want in someone you're entrusting to make your yard beautiful.

Juan was prompt with his initial response to my message and even scheduled an immediate date for an estimate. Everything started out great because he for one was a half an hour early for the appointment and even though I wasn't at home yet he stood by and waited for me. I was given some pretty good ideas for California landscaping the areas I discussed and was told by Juan that he would get back with me within 3 days via email with some additional ideas and pictures of trees that he has mind. Well 2 weeks later and I still haven't heard from him, I even sent him a reminder message here this past weekend and still no response.

Scheduled appointment three days in advance. Reyes Tree Service never showed up or called to reschedule. Not sure what all the good reviews are all about?

It went beyond well with Juan and his entire company the exceeded all of my expectations I couldn't love my front yard more. Not only was Juan a reasonable price they got it down in no time even going the extra miles and replacing some pipes for us because he said they weren't done correctly. I will most defiantly use the again for my backyard. If you need some to get the job done right use them.

Juan and his team were great. He was very flexible with his schedule in getting me my estimate. He provided some good suggestions on what to do with our trees. His crew showed up the next day ready to take a dead tree out. The day after that they trimmed the trees on the property and it looks so much cleaner. Our yard looks much more open. I highly recommend Reyes Tree Service. Excellent work!

Juan Reyes gave me the most reasonable of three bids and his work was outstanding. He and his crew were professional, fast, and even creative in removing and trimming trees for me. He listened very carefully to what I wanted and executed perfectly. His crew was considerate, fast, and did such a excellent job of cleaning up you would never know they were there.

I hired Juan and his crew to do an overall clean up of the property at our new house-- the property had been neglected and allowed to overgrow, so we had several dead trees and lots of heavy duty trimming to do. Juan came to my home on the same day I called to give me an estimate. His crew arrived the next day and worked non-stop throughout the day to finish. They were all professional and courteous and seemed to enjoy what they do. Juan followed up in person the next day to make sure all was well. It was an excellent experience. I would definitely recommend Juan, and I plan on using him to clear the back slope of my property.

Juan was an excellent communicator. He showed up on time to provide us with a quote and performed the work 3 days later. His men were on-time, clean, and cared for our home as I would expect - with effort and quality. They cleaned-up meticulously. Most importantly, our trees look terrific. Juan also provided us with advice on improving the health of another unrelated tree that was recently planted. We will use him in the future. A+ experience.
