Steve and John showed up. Steve was rude. I kept asking about the mechanics of how the doors in the room worked because they were backwards from the other door. He told me if he had to answer one more time he was going to write it down like he did for his kids. I told him I was not a kid I just didn't understand. He told me to check the grates because iImight not like them because they were not "designer". He told me I never told him about fixing the locks and then I assured him I had and then he remembered. They didn't fix the locks to my satisfaction and if fact one of the ones they fixed broke after they left--I won't call them back. No matter what I asked his immediate answer was no. They didn't bother cleaning anything after they were done. In front of them I got the cleanser and starting cleaning the black stuff left on the door.

This is a great shop to do business with. Professional, capable, punctual. Really was happy with the whole thing. Thanks guys!

It was a very good experience. They bring their own repair truck and do the work on the premises. They were fast but very thorough. I was very pleased. I thought their cost was fair, and they were polite and clean.

Steve Miller is always punctual and very conscientious. We had used him previously to install a standard screen door and he did such a great job we didn't hesitate to call him again to get an estimate for a new retractable screen door. He reviewed the pros and cons with us and we decided to go ahead. The door disappears when it's closed and there are several choices of door and screen colors. We couldn't be more pleased. We also had him make 4 new window screens. He makes those onsite and is a perfectionist so they fit perfectly and tight. I can't praise him enough.

Professional, fast, good quality workmanship, responsive, on time. We were expecting they would be able to do all the work on site but the sliding screen door required a week to build off site. We'd use them again.

It went very well. Steve Miller arrived promptly in the mobile screen shop, examined the screen to make sure that the frame wasn't damaged, measured the screen, told me exactly how much it would cost, and was able to match the screen color and texture to the original. It took only a few minutes for him to make and install the new screen.

The company was very professional. Their estimate over the phone was very close to the actual price. They were very punctual. They were here early in the morning and gave me an estimate on time of around an hour and a half and they were right on. There was two people and they worked together very well. I was very satisfied with the job and I would definitely use them again.

I have an older 1950's house with the original windows. Recently one window stopped sliding up and down. After contacting many handymen and window companies, Northridge Screen was the only company I could find that fixed these types of windows. I contacted Northridge Screen through Angie's List and received a prompt reply the from one of their repair people, saying he could fix the window and instructing me to call the company directly to set up an appointment. The woman who answered the phone was very polite and courteous. She took down all my information and gave me pricing information of $125/hour plus parts, about $60. She had said for this type of repair, it shouldn't take much more than an hour. The repairman, Steve, called me the next day to firm up a time. I gave him more information specific to my windows and he estimated it would take approximately one and half hours to complete the repair and the parts would run $60-70. In my mind, I thought the bill would be $250 to repair (a bit high, but less than the cost of a new window). Well, the repair took three hours to complete, resulting in a bill of $478.38. Had I known this, I may not have fixed the window and waited until I could get some of the windows of my house replaced. Northridge Screen seems to be a professional company to work with, but I would urge anyone using their services to reconfirm the time needed for a repair to avoid an unpleasant surprise at the end.

We spent about $25 on that work. Our interaction with them was fine. They have a mobile van that they come out in and replace window screens and it would have cost more to have them come out and replace just one window screen, so we just took it down to their shop and had it done for a nice price. They are just 5 or 6 miles away.

They were very friendly and I thought they did a good job. I was very happy with them.

Within 4 working days of getting the estimate for the retractable screen door and window screen repair, Steve and his crew arrived on time as scheduled and completed the work in 2 hours, just as he said he would. We had seen the retractable screen door at a friend's house in Washington and knew that was what we wanted. We looked online and at Home Depot, planning to do it ourselves, but called this company to see what a professional job would cost. The quality of the door we had installed was far superior to the one at Home Depot and we probably would have had to buy tools which would have added to the cost, not to mention what we saved in time correcting mistakes and arguing. We love the retractable door. It was the perfect solution for us.

Steve was very professional and considerate. He called the day before to remind me of our appointment, he arrived at the appointed times and did all the work as requested in a timely manner. He obviously has many years of experience in this business and it shows. He used a subcontractor to install the retractable screen door. The sub was late due to a nightmare tie-up on the freeway but that's life in LA. Everything looks and works great. I have a masonry house with some unusual framing, and that made the cost of the door somewhat higher than it would have been on a normal house. I had been worried about having an unsightly retractable screen door on the front entryway, but I have to say I'm very pleased with the appearance.

Steve from Northridge Screen Service was great. He cut to the chase with me. Told me what he could do, when and for how much and he came through on what he offered. He was on time, friendly and got the job done wonderfully.

You can't go wrong with Steve. He worked on the screen and frame among other things. He's very prompt, reasonable, nice, and easy to work with and I'd recommend him to anyone!
