Koonce Consulting & Testing

The work was performed in October, 2000. I received a certificate from this vendor stating that all asbestos was removed and the attic encapsulated; however, in June, 2012 I had a company come in to review the house for an energy survey. This energy survey company found that Chuck Koonce's company (CKC Contractors in 2000) had NOT encapsulated all of the ducts. Two (2) ducts were missed. As a result, the energy survey could not e completed. I tracked down Chuck Koonce and spoke with him the same day, June 5, 2012, that the situation was found. He stated that he was working outside of California but would call me on 6/12/2012 when he returned to California. He did not. I have called him three days in a row and have not received any response. My calls go directly to voicemail. I sent a request for contact via his Web site and have not received a response.RUN, RUN, RUN AWAY from this company. They obviously do not do complete work, which is extremely scary as they are supposed to be fixing situations that can cause you health problems. I will be lodging a complaint against their license. Because they cannot do the decent thing and fix the situation I now have to find another company to fix the situation.
