Chris was very punctual, very friendly and worked efficiently and intently. He explained things I had questions about and some he thought I should know and changed my filters. As our other serviceman had moved, it had been a few years since we had the unit serviced so it was a big relief.

After talking to a sales person he promised to send his senior guy which he did. Techs name was Lee and this guy is amazing! He knows his stuff and he is a real tech/engineer, not like 90% of the people in this industry. I'm pretty technical myself and I can tell that this guy has a LOT of experience. He was able to reprogram our system is such is way so that it is more comfortable. Previously I have called other companies which really failed to see the problem and fix it. Kahn air is definitely no the cheapest one and might even be one of the most expensive, but.... One thing I learned, with AC, you want it to be done once, and right, so you can be comfortable in your home and enjoy it. If I ever decide to build a new system, I will definitely call Kahn air and have them to it. They will not take a job if they can't do it right and make you happy.

The service technician was very professional. We bought a new home and wanted to get the AC and Heater checked out before we moved in. The service representative arrived on time (early actually) and was very professional. He wasnt able to fully service the units because we had just replaced our ducts and they were covered to protect them from dust (we are doing a lot of construction in the house). He did what he could with the ducts covered and also made recommendations for a few fixes (such as removing some asbestos vents and building a pallet for the ac units on the roof to stabalize them.) We were very happy with their work.

During the pre-winter maintenance for our central heater/air conditioner unit,we were told we had a potential leak in the heater unit. We soon realized that we would need to replace the over 30 year old unit. I called 5 companies to bid. The company that maintained the unit gave me a price over the phone. I was very disappointed that they would not even send a quote in writing not alone send a rep to explain to me what the quote involved. I would normally not call this many companies. But I was not pleased with how the other companies bid for the replacement unit. Only two of the five companies took any time to explain the quote. Kahn was the only company that was knowledgeable and thoroughly explained the process to replace the old unit with the new one. The five bids were scattered. Two were a few thousand dollars less than Kahn's bid. I learned that these companies were taking short cuts. One company gave me a bid about $1500 less than Kahn. The fourth company gave me a bid slightly lower than Kahn's so when I saw the Kahn bid I was not shell shocked. However, the other company's sales rep did not return my phone calls when I had further questions. We felt we would have the unit for over 20 years and worth to spend the extra money to make sure the unit was installed correctly. The unit also qualified for tax credit and so the higher price was offset by the tax credit. When I had a few questions, and Jim always returned my calls promptly. The installation went very smooth. The installers were very professional and courteous. After the installation, Kahn sent us a complete package so we could take advantage of the tax credit. We called the company for our winter inspection. It was the most thorough inspection. Usually the service rep is back in 5 minutes. He took over half hour to check everything! We have been very pleased with the level of professionalism and pride with all the employees we interact with at Kahn.

Jim Berry came to my home to explain the options and provide estimates. We have been using Kahn AC for our heating and AC needs for almost 30 years and always have been satisfied both with their products as well as their staff and technicians. Price comparisons (yes I did!) were within the range of other companies. Techs arrived ON TIME, were clean, courteous, and efficient, testing everything before leaving. Kahn coordinated with the HERS Air Duct Inspector and he too arrived on time while the Kahn installation techs were still here in the event any adjustments were needed. The entire job of replacing the furnace, rebuilding the flooring, permits, hooking up with existing AC compressor and coil --all handled in a matter of several hours. Clean up was also perfect.

Every time I have used them, the service was completed or the part repaired to my satisfaction.

Their price was reasonable. They were very prompt. The guy made sure that he didn t track my floors up and covered his shoes. They had to get up in the attic and he left a black mark on the covering. He apologized very profusely.

Problems with installation and multiple visits (lost days at work), but they made good and fixed the problems and charged what they estimated.

It went very well. The installers were prompt and clean. They were on time and reliable. They were very knowledgeable. I would consider them as professionals.

They came and looked at a pump that was making noise. They determined that it was defective and while they were there found a leaky pipe. They said that I could replace it and the pipe for several hundred dollars, however, it was not urgent and I could wait until it broke.

They were most professional in their dealings. Everything about this company was great. We were very happy in hiring them to do this job in particular. Even though the unit cost quite a bit with the installation, we are happy to have called them. It took two workers one whole day to install the unit. I wouldn't know why because the unit wasn't very big but maybe the problem was that they had to accommodate it up high over a window in the room. The unit we bought includes a yearly warranty plan which is great. Overall we could say that we were more than satisfied with this company and their work.

Kahn's is a very reputable company. I find them to be honest and straightforward with me. The prices are good as well and there were no surprises that came up. I highly recommend them.

The technicians at Kahn Air Conditioning are very thorough in their work. They are consistently, courteous and professional. When I need them to come, they come quickly and they get right in and out. They are very good about calling ahead of time to let me know when they are going to arrive.

This person was so irritating that I could not stand him. I called him out to just service my unit then he said he would not do the work and that I needed to let him replace the unit. He just refused to do anything. I don t know what his problem was.

Kahn came out and gave us an estimate which seemed high for what was to be done. We got four additional estimates from large reputable Angie's List companies and Kahn was far and away the highest for the same work and equipment. When asked why they were so high, we were told it was because they did better work than anyone else and were the only Distinguished level dealer in the area. We found it hard to believe that their work for this kind of installation was $3,000 better... My wife felt that the salesperson had something of an attitude throughout... We had used Kahn before for some repairs on our old system and had found them to be excellent but because of the price we wound up going with someone else who did an excellent job.

The workers from Kahn did a great job and everything works very well. They arrived when they said they would and finished the work without being intrusive at all. They cleaned up well and we have not had a problem of any kind since they were here. We were pleased with the price as well.

When we decided to choose this company they were a little more costly then others, but they helped us to make the right decisions on what systems we needed. Their honesty really won us over and we were very satisfied with the work. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

We have been using their services for years and have always been satisfied. So when we wanted to go ahead and get central air, we did not hesitate to call these guys. Their workmanship was excellent and the workers were professional. Their price was fair. What more could you ask for?

The workers arrived on time. They removed the old furnace and installed the new one post haste. The quality of the new furnace is excellent and in the over two years we have had it there have not been any problems with it. It's been awhile so I can't quote you the price, but it was reasonable. I have already recommended them to friends as a reliable and reasonable company to deal with.

Jim the salesman was very personable and even though they were more expensive, we felt more comfortable with them due to Jim. Mark the foreman seemed very knowledgeable and ''in charge.'' The installers were very nice, and generally did a good job, but their attention to detail left a little to be desired. When they left, there was still trash left around, and several of the registers were askew. We had a problem with the electrical, which they fixed the next day. After I called them, they also came back out the next week and fixed all the little details that they previously missed. We had already cleaned up all the trash. The office staff doesn't seem quite as together as the rest of the crew, though. We just got the warranty and a letter explaining the permit process yesterday, 3 weeks after they've been gone. And we still don't have anything about the rebates. Overall, we're pleased.
