Description of Work: My rooftop central A/C unit was not cooling. Jose R came out to inspect the unit, advised me as to the possible causes (from $$ to $$$$), and allowed me to decide on the action to take. The unit was very low on refrigerant, and 5 pounds had to be put into a 6.5 pound capacity unit, so no wonder there was no cooling! The total bill came to $372.50, and the cost ($87)of the house call was waived.

Description of Work: Kahn provided and estimate for a replacement heater/cooler unit, complete with duct work and came in almost $2,000 less than their competitor. John provided the estimate and supervised the work. He responded quickly to calls, and answered questions thoroughly. The work was done in a competent, friendly manner. Workers showed up punctually. We're very happy with our new system. Thank you Kahn!

Description of Work: I needed servicing for my AC/Air unit. Kahns was prompt and attentive in scheduling and arrived on the date and time. While we did have a discussion prior about them having a ladder, due to the fact that my unit is on the rooftop of my two story home, when they arrived they saw that it was too high for their ladder and felt it was unsafe for their technician to go up regardless of whether they could get a ladder that high. I do not blame them and want to make it clear that they were professional and very apologetic. I would recommend them to anyone: while they were unable to complete the service, I would certainly use them first if I was able to. I had tried other companies and none were able to accommodate my roof---Kahn at least came out to try.
