+ -1 moreOverall, I was very pleased. They responded to my call promptly, provided a free inspection and estimate. The entire job took approximately three days and they were always on time. The crew was professional, courteous and well organized. I am in a gay live-in relationship and I am pleased to say that the crew displayed no "attitude". If you are gay, even though you are paying, workers' attitude can be a negative experience. I feel the quality of their work was very good and their price was very competitive. If asked, I would recommend them.
Description of Work: Cal-Wide painted the complete interior of my house, walls, vaulted acoustic ceilings, doors and trim. I used three color combinations with gloss for the trim. My house is approximately 1700 sq. ft, three bedroom, two baths, and a laundry room. They did not paint the closet interiors. Cal-Wide masked and covered all areas and furniture. I only had to move small items such as paintings, lamps, books and table accessories (vases, knick knacks, etc.).

+ 0 moreThey were great! The work was excellent, the men were all friendly and polite, and they showed up on time each day! Also, when they thought they had finished the job, one of the guys handed me a roll of orange tape and asked me to place a small piece on anything I found that needed touching up - I only found one place to put the tape! (It was a drip in the kitchen, and they fixed it right away.) I've already recommended Cal-Wide to a good friend of mine and will continue to recommend them. I'm very, very pleased with the job they did for me.
Description of Work: Edwin from Cal-Wide gave me an estimate to paint the interior AND exterior of our 3bd/2ba home in Van Nuys for $4600. I had gotten 2 other estimates, one for 6,500 and another for 6,000 - I hired Cal Wide. They painted 3 bedrooms, the living room, the kitchen, the hallway and a bathroom plus all the baseboards, and they patched every tiny crack they found. They also painted the entire exterior including all the trim and the cover of the rear porch. I received the estimate on Wednesday, hired them on Friday, and they showed up at 8am on Monday, as promised. They were finished with the whole job by Friday at 2.
