Every horror story about contractors came true with this job. Mike said he would provide plans 3D at that, but they were just generic plans.. fill in the blanks. and there were no plans for tear down so my backyard, sprinklers, and plants were destroyed. Since there were no plans they poured concrete in the pool and never asked how much shallow end I wanted...so they had to redo it and of course they made me pay for his mistake... there was no communication some days no one would show up and you would not hear from anyone for days..weeks.. The backyard was a mess and workers left food wrappers, cigarette butts . They were doing a backyard pool remodel tore down my fencing yet never was there a discussion about new fencing... that i had to get somewhere else the job went way over budget as they poured on one change order after another...how do you upgrade a pool and all new pool equipment and then are surprised when you need to upgrade the electrical panel?? Then when it came to pool equipment I asked for Pentair pool equipment... this general contractor installs THE POOL EQUIPMENT PLUMBING THAT is labeled in and out BACKWARDS and my filter warranty is voided...that took weeks to get someone out to correct and then the equipment still wasn't working right and Pentair suggested they send a specialist out SPear Pools came and I spent 150.00 in a service call because they wired the pool equipment wrong!!!! No one has returned my calls on that. If they give you a bid I would run the other way sooo fast.

This remodel went extremely well. The remodel started when promised, they cleaned up every night and never left a mess. The work was completed on time and the results were beautiful. Every detail was perfect. The entire crew was extremely professional and always on time. I currently have another project and there was no discussion needed about who to hire. I have already contacted Elite Remodeling and Development to handle the project.

Everything they did was great. I especially appreciated the daily cleanup.

AWESOME!! It was a no stress major project that was promised to be completed within 3 months and they completed it in just over a 2 month period. My entire front and back yard were gutted and redone (from new pavers, to redoing our existing pool, to refacing our old BBQ area, doing electrical, gas line work, new gutter, painting the entire exterior and much more). Mike and Sigal were amazing to work with. I had a vision of what I wanted and Elite Remodeling & Development Inc achieved just that. I'm very detail oriented and Mike and Sigal never got bothered by that. Sigal checked in with me daily and gave me the schedule of what to expect. Mike visited the job daily to review the work of the day and check in on the quality of work done by his staff. Mike was in some cases picker than I. My 30 year old home now looks brand new thanks to Elite Remodeling & Development Inc (Mike, Sigal and their staff). As the project came to completion they had me make a list of anything that I wanted to be reworked and adjusted. They never said no to anything. The promptly returned no questions asked and took my list and completed every adjustment to my liking. They are the type of company that you won't want to see go when the project is done. I WOULD USE ELITE REMODELING & DEVELOPMENT INC. on all future projects. There were never any hidden charges. If there was a change order we discussed it first, what the cost would be and then I received an email confirming our conversation the cost and my approval. I never felt like they were getting me on alterations. Their change order prices were always fair and they new I had a limited budget and they didn't mind working with me. Thank you Mike, Sigal and the Elite Remodeling & Development Team for giving me a showcase home. All our neighbors love the workmanship and the finished product. They are the BEST!!

This process was horrible, and quite frankly, because of it, I was turned off from doing any construction work, with any contractor for a very long time. Elite Remodeling & Development, Inc basically scared me from trusting any vendors. It was quoted to us as a 6-8 week project- it lasted 5.5 months. And when all was said and done, we had to settle for what we got, and it wasn't even close to 100% perfect. In fact, less than a year after the work was done, we have a major crack in our retaining wall, and an ever more major leak in the irrigation they installed, behind a part of the retaining wall, that has caused a mudslide onto our patio. It started off ok, the demolition was quick, and it looked like we were off to a great start. The new plumbing went it, and by week 2.5, it was looking good. Then, our "Project Manager" who played himself off as a "Part Owner" in the company, started not being responsive. He wouldn't show up to the job site, and his workers really had no direction. Every day, the job site was left a mess. To this day, I am finding buried beer cans and water bottles in flower beds. Then, came the retaining wall. They built it, and then the inspector said that it was the worst piece of work he had ever seen. It was not even remotely structurally sound, and thank god the inspector was on our side, or we would have had a wall that would have collapsed into our pool with one big rain. Our project manager said that the inspector was crazy - and then admitted that the work was shotty, and blamed his crew. Instead of taking responsibility, he just passed the buck. They finally- weeks later - got a new crew in, and built the wall correctly. That whole process had us lose many weeks. From there, it was us hand holding the whole thing. Weeks would go by, and we would call and call our PM, who would sometimes show up saying "Ok, ok, I can make this happen". But we literally had to tell him how to do his job. He never wrote anything down, and we had to constantly create To Do lists for him and send it to the corporate office. Sigal in the office was very helpful, when she was able to respond. In fact, had it not been for her, the job would have never been "completed". Once Sigal kicked people into shape, the pool refinishers did quality work and were prompt. However, at the end, we had to be squeeky wheel, and quite frankly, I feel like I should have been paid to be the project manager. Excuses were made to us about our PM and about the owner's health. While I very much sympathize with the situation, in the end, I still expected quality work and prompt service, neither of which I got. We were told that the PM was no longer with the company, but I cannot trust that this actually happened. All and all, I have no trust or faith in this company, and I would say, buyer beware - look elsewhere for a trustworthy and professional company. UPDATE: We now have a major leak behind the retaining wall, and I can't get a hold of the company at all to come fix it. We will be filing a complaint with the Licence Board. UPDATE: While we did have to contact the licensing board due to a brief period of non-response, the leak we found about ten months after project completion was addressed. Elite did handle this quickly and very well. Hopefully, this is more indicative of typical work vs. what we saw with our project manager and his crew.

Elit really lived up to our expectations. Mike was punctual, reliable and friendly and his crew did a beautiful, professional job. From start to finish this contractor, Mike and his crew were prompt, and professional All details contracted were completed in a timely manner The installers were experienced, friendly, courteous, clean and followed through on the plan and its details Asked questions and at times pointed out a better solution to the job at hand Everyday the entire area was swept and cleaned before the crew left and each morning everything was covered to protect our floors and furniture Mike and his crew were a pleasure to work with Mike added a few extra touches that made the bathroom perfect!! Our master bathroom turned out beautiful! We would highly recommend ELITE and we would hire them again without hesitation !

Mike gave a full honest estimate. Work started as agreed and completion of job was as estimated. Received daily updates and calls from their office, We were never left wondering what was going to be done on any single day. Workers cleaned up and vacuumed after each day's work, were courteous. We are very happy with their work and we proudly show off our newly remodeled shower room to our friends. Our friends are very impressed with the quality of work that they did. Would certainly refer Elite to our friends and family. Would definitely use their services in the future, when / if the need arises.

Elite Remodeling gave me the best service I ever had and would refer them to anyone for a wonderful experience. I will be calling them immediately for any future work I need knowing they will do the finest job, give the best quality, and finish the job in no time. We just finished replastering our pool. The whole process took 3 days; one day to drain the pool, one day for demolition and one day to plaster. All phases went well. Every morning I received a call from Elite letting me know what was planned for the day and just checking in to make sure I was happy. We were only having the pool done, not the jacuzzi and if I wasn't home they would have demolished the jacuzzi. So my only criticism would be to keep an eye on the workers at all times. I believe this is the case with many contractors. That issue would not stop me from using them again.

.Everything went according to the schedule. We moved out and had to come back in 8 weeks...we did come back in eight weeks plus 5 days in to completely remodeled house. Everything was in the working condition and totally functional. Some touch ups were needed...everything was performed and delivered on time

Overall the project went very well. Took about 3 weeks from start to finish.

I sent an email to the site's info email address. No response. I called on a weekday and reached someone who said that she would have someone who could talk about remodels call me back. No response.

Mike and his team at Elite provided simply the best service from a contractor that we've had in 15+ years in Southern California. The job was competitively priced, completed on time, and perfect outcome. Highly recommend Elite for pool and other contracting jobs.

My in laws and I dealt directly with the co-owner of the company (Daniel) for the initial estimate. He was very personable and honest with his pricing. We received another estimate with another company after meeting with Daniel, and the other company's estimate was twice as much. Daniel's employees did a great job with the project, keeping the project area clean and finishing the project in a timely manner as promised. The finished project turned out great and the paver stones surround put some pizazz around the boring support posts.

Elite Remodeling and Development, Inc. completed our job promptly and they did an excellent job. We had 1,100 feet of cement surface jack-hammered out and hauled away. In its place our backyard drainage pipes were replaced and connected to the main drainage line. New pavers were installed and sealed. We had a ornamental fence and gate separating our spa area, removed and replaced. All of this work was performed to our total satisfaction. One of the co-owners , Daniel, did an excellent job explaining how the job would progress and how much time it would take to complete ( up to two weeks ). They finished in eight days. During the project, Sigal from Elite's home office did an excellent job communicating with us and solving any issues we had during the job. For example, when our fence and gate were reset I prematurely opened the gate and loosened the metal fence posts. Sigal sent a crew out promptly to remove, replace, and reset the entire fence/gate section at no additional cost. As residential home owners, this was a major project for us. Selecting the right contractor was very important Without a doubt choosing Elite Remodeling and Development was the right choice. We highly recommend them.

discussed all the details for the pool remodel and he answer and explained all of the questions that I had. Most of all, he had lots of patience, specially when you are spending a lot of money and you want to make sure that the work is done well. He took us to see a pool that he recently remodeled. Segal always kept us informed about how was the project going or when the crew was supposed to arrive. With regards how the pool looks, the coping and tile looks beautiful, We chose aqua blue for the mini pebble tech and the pool looks beautiful. I will recommend Elite to my friends and family and we will hired them again for a new project. Thumbs up to Elite.

When building our 3-story home, we took the builder's standard carpet and tile because the specifications offered were bad and the cost to change was high. So that's what we wanted to rip out and replace. Enter Elite. After taking about 30 (no joke) bids on the whole house (about 2300 sq. ft, 2 staircases, 3 floors), Elite came in near the bottom of the list on pricing (good) and more importantly, they came out at the top of the list on responsiveness, quality and aggressive commitment to addressing our needs. From the first consult meeting, Daniel was prompt, inquisitive and very attentive to our needs. He paid close attention to what we were looking for. I had researched extensively at this point (and also talked to the 30 or so other contractors), so I had plenty of questions. Daniel was patient, and made sure to address all the little points. Anything he couldn't answer on the spot, he pledged to look up and get back to me (and he kept the promise). Later, we met with Mike. Mike was just as thorough, responsive and helpful. When working together, they formed a great team and we always felt we were in good hands. Throughout the process, we were so impressed with the timing, the quality and the commitment to all the details. While it's always painful to fork over a big renovation sum, we remain so pleased with the quality level and all the details we got. This was truly a top-notch job, and we know we'll be enjoying the work (and it will hold up) for years to come. Just to name some specifics where Mike & Daniel really hit it out of the park -- we were very persnickety about grout lines (we wanted them no larger than 1/16"), thinset/grout brand and specification choice and the details of the final look of the renovation.

I contacted Elite Remodeling for a bid to redo my backyard patio. I also contacted three other contractors for the same job. The representative, Sam, from Elite showed up on time and was very knowledgeable about the job at hand. Sam showed me all the options and gave me a time frame for each option as I was in a hurry to get this job done. Their prices were easily the best of all the bids I got. When the job started they were very punctual and very professional. The office representative, Sigal, spoke to me everyday making sure I was satisfied and updating on the status of each phase of the job. They completed the job even earlier then what they originally planned and it turned out fantastic, exactly as I imagined it. Everyone at Elite remodeling couldn't have made this an easier and more enjoyable experience for me. I have a brand new, beautiful patio just in time for summer and it was at a great price. I highly recommend Elite Remodeling and definitely will use them again in the future.

The work started in December and was done in stages as we decided what we wanted - which was not clear at the beginning. Daniel and Mike were patient, persistent and helpful - doing the work in distinct parts. Finally telling me in January that the next vision for the yard was not a project they should do and explaining why. The first step was fixing/creating drainage for a number of roof and deck drains that disappeared into the ground (and backed up when it rained!). Unfortunately we discovered significant tree roots, so we made a complete new line to the street. A heavy rain delayed that part of the project, but (at least) most of the rain went into the new trench and did not back up on the patio anymore. Alex (with his leveling device) carefully ensured the drop in the new pipes from the back yard to the street was appropriate and consistent. Jose lead the patio paving team which flew around the pool until all was done, which included demolition, new drainage lines under the new pavers, the pavers, and relocating some sprinklers. At points, we noticed issues, but each was addressed until we were satisfied. While looking at the paver project, we decided to stucco an existing wall and extend it with a similar brick topping. As the paver work was finishing, the extension was begun. Matching the bricks on top of the existing wall was challenging (colors!), but Elite kept trying to ensure we had colors we liked until we did. Our yard had pipes underground in unexpected places, but the resulting breaks were quickly fixed. Our improved yard is not perfect yet, perhaps it never will be, but it is vastly improved by the work done and we are pleased.

They're fantastic. They wowed me. They're very, very personable. They follow up and keep in touch. I've hired them to do a lot of other jobs. They're a really good general contractor. They did some hardscape work outside that was beautiful. I love them.

The project went well overall! The contractor personally kept in touch with me or he had his office call to advise of any changes/updates in plans. My wife loves the remodeled bathrooms.

Mike was very friendly and attentive. Alex performed the work very well. The estimate was fair and reasonable and every stage of the project was viewed and accounted for before the next installation payment. Sigal was extremely helpful, responsive, and efficient in coordinating all of the work. As soon as I save enough money for the next project, I will call Elite Remodeling. I recommend them without reservation. They repaired work performed by an unlicensed contractor / ex-friend and I learned a lot from both experiences. The contrast between Mike and previous work done by the other person was remarkable. I am so glad to have found Mike. In addition to being good at what they do, Mike, Alex, and Sigal all are extremely pleasant, courteous and friendly, which make what can be a stressful experience exciting and uplifting as the appearance of my home was restored and improved.
