Carpetland Mills

Capetland Mills installed laminate flooring throughout our 1000 sq ft condo about 1 1/2 yrs ago. At the time we were satisfied but questioned Vartan, the owner, as to the quality of workmanship of the installation of the transition molding. He told us everything had been done correctly. As it turned out, we were right to be concerned, since they popped up shortly thereafter. We recently lost our tenant and saw firsthand how badly the moldings had lifted up. Apparently they hadn't been secured with glue anywhere, nor had the space provided for their installation been adequately sized. This meant that the molding had been simply laid across the surface of the laminate, which was certain to be a problem. What we're most upset about is that Vartan, whom we've known and have done business with for over 20 years, refused to accept any responsibility for the poor workmanship and lied to us when we tried to address the problem with him. We have never written a review before, but we felt this was so egregious as to be necessary.

They did a good job and I liked their price.
