ALL ABOUT LANDSCAPE

DON'T USE THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING BLOWN OFF! I should have known they would be a problem when I made an appointment with the owner, Harlan, and he failed to show up or even call. I pursued them again, since I got a good recommendation for them, but I have been really disappointed with them. Harlan promised that I would have two gardners that would work a couple of hours a week on my modest yard to maintain it. I also walked through each thing I needed done before I got the estimate. They started off ok, and it went down hill quickly! The men do not come for a couple of hours as promised, but stay only about 45 minutes. Often after they leave, there are still weeds left and not small ones either. They promised to replace plants that died, but that has not been done. To add insult to injury, I caught them tearing out some of the very plants a landscape architect had put in. The gardner said they were blocking the sprinklers and they tore out about seven plants before I stopped them. I immediately called Harlan to ask what was going on, he assured me that should not have been done and he would replace them. That was 3 month ago, and still nothing. To make matters worse, I repeatedly asked them to cut the Ivy off the curb away from the street (which I pointed out to Harlan when I got the estimate), and they repeatedly failed to do it. I even got a warning from the City that the ivy was in violation, and I ended up having to do it myself to avoid a citation. The gardner who I repeatedly asked told me it's not their job and Harlan said they did not have to do it. I explained I was the customer and needed it done, but he said take it up with Harlan, they don't need to do it. I called Harlan, and still no response. Previously he promised to send a team to help clean up some maintenance his weekly crew had neglected. That was three months ago, and still nothing. I called Harlan and he never called back. The only timely thing they do is send a bill. If you want to be treated poorly, have your calls ignored, have work that is promised to be done not completed and get billed for the privilege, then this All About Landscape and Harlan are the ones for you. If you prefer to be treated professionally, I would suggest someone else.

I have a yearly contract with All About Landscapes, so they just come whenever they are needed to mow the grass and trim any vegetation. They also do weed control. They are dependable and fairly priced. The lawn looks wonderful and I depend on them for this service. I would recommend them.
