+ -1 moreRoss is very professional, knowledgeable, and gentlemanly. We communicated via email pictures and designs and phone calls, so he didn't have to actually visit the site to understand the job. He reviewed the materials and did a small sketch illustrating the new code problems then we discussed on the phone. I would highly recommend him. Also, as added recommendation, the architect for my house (built in 1992) is still using Ross for his projects, so you know he backs up his work and is great to work with.
Description of Work: Ross did the engineering on my hillside deck in 1992 (retaining wall design & city permitting). Years later when I wanted to extend the deck, he reviewed the original plans and my suggested drawing and provided me with updated hillside code information and a complete explanation of what the new deck would entail, estimated costs and requirements, and time line. It turned out to be cost prohibitive so I didn't do any new building but he didn't charge me for his evaluation of the project.
