I've used DC Electrical several times since 2010 and am thrilled to have finally found an electrician I can trust. Danny Corral is the owner of DC Electrical and is quite the expert in all things electrical. He can be relied on to show up on time, charges reasonable fees, and is remarkably efficient in getting things done quickly. His unique personality and high energy make any project seem easy to a homeowner. From our first consultation to assess what needed to be done for the upgrade, Danny guided me through the building permit process, the timing of the inspections, and kept me informed of the work in progress. Danny took the initiative to move a large metal pipe from outside a walk to inside the wall which created a lot more work for him but resulted in a smooth wall next to the panel. This was done at no additional cost and was not in the original scope of the job. When another contractor doubled an estimate to repair the stucco wall, Danny was quick to refer me to a plaster/stucco person who did a beautiful job of repairing the stucco after the final inspection at a fair price. DC Electrical has quite a large fan base strictly through word of mouth and by repeat customers like myself who keep his name and number on speed dial. Danny is truly a hidden gem on Angie's List.

Danny was the only electrician I contacted that returned my call. He was enthusiastic about doing the job and worked within my very tight time-frame to get the job done. He arrived with three people and they installed a new exterior light in less than an hour. All around a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend DC Electric.

We have 3 lights that require periodic maintenance once every couple of years. The people who put them in quoted us $3300 to do the maintenance. We contacted someone else from Angie's List who quoted us $1800. DC Electrical did the whole job for under $300. They were in and out in less than 3 hours. The other 2 guys were talking about crews of people for a whole day or 2 days. The difference was stunning. We have mercury vapor lights in our trees, which shine up and give a nice moon light glow. We have a number of lights and they periodically do the required maintenance. Both the other companies were sure they were going to replace all the lights. DC Electrical came, took a look at it, sent some guys up in to the trees and said that there were just some broken connections and repaired the connections. Everything works perfectly now. It is much easier to replace a connection near the base of the tree or nearer the base of the tree than climbing all the way out on the limbs to replace the bulbs. This is the second time we have used them. The first time I was more involved. It was 2-3 years ago. At that time, they did some light installation for us.

Our realtor referred Danny to us, so we had DC Electrical come out before we purchased the home so that they could perform an electrical inspection of the house. They walked through and explained clearly what needed to be done, what should be done, and what might be good to do, and right there on the spot gave us a ballpark estimate of how much those repairs would cost. They also informed us of the ramifications of possible future upgrades to the home, and how the existing electrical system would respond. We decided to have DC Electrical perform the necessary work on the garage and the wiring under the house, which had to be brought up to code. They did the job in two stages, making a special trip out to us on a Saturday to take care of the garage so that we could begin using it as soon as we moved in. They came back about a week later to take care of the work under the house. DC Electrical overlapped by about two days our general contractor, who was working on the attic. When I came home from work on the second day, I found new lights strung throughout the attic, and thought our contractor had done it. It was a massive improvement over what had been up there before. I later learned that Danny had taken the initiative to take care of that on his own. I want to make it clear that this was not an un-asked for upsell, though. Danny and his team beat their own estimate by nearly three hundred dollars, they were able to take care of the attic lighting as well, and still came in under estimate. They also finished a day early. These guys are great.
