They are always very efficient and friendly.

We’re very happy with them. I’ve never contacted anybody else so I’m fine with the price. We didn’t have an air conditioner before, they installed it and therefore I have nothing to compare the price to. Whatever they charge, its fine with me. They keep the thing running and it works. They are actually very punctual. They show up when they say they are going to.

They were very helpful in programming it.

It was part of the construction job. I didn’t hire them, the contractor did. They installed a really good unit that has served our house very well and they did the ducting such that the air conditioning and the heating is pretty evenly distributed. They put in the unit that seems to function quietly and efficiently so we’re very happy with everything they did.

We did a complete gut on our new home and when it came time for HVAC, our contractor recommended Paul at Custom Aire. I took several bids before Paul and everyone of them was over $20,000. The scope included new ducts, condenser, furnace, gas and drain lines, commercial air filter and two smart thermostats. It also included the installation of a 1 1/2 ton mini-split A/C in the garage. Other than a couple of adjustments to the mini-split unit, the rest of the system preforms flawlessly. Paul's crew were always prompt, clean and responsive. I highly recommend them without reservation.

I found this company on Angie's list. Although they only had 2 reviews they were both excellent and it stated that they did not charge for estimates. My Lennox central air conditioning system had stopping working. I called Custom Aire on Thursday and made an appointment for a serviceman to come out on Saturday. Paul came to my house and inspected my unit. He was pleasant, courteous and professional. He said the compressor was bad and it would cost $2800 to repair it. It would cost $3200 to replace it with a new ICP unit. He gave me a written estimate and said I owed him $100 for the service call. I told him that in his listing on Angie's list it stated that his estimates were free. He said this was not an estimate it was a service call and his service call fee was $100. I told him that should have been explained to me when I made the appointment and it was not. I understand that repair people do charge service fees but I thought $100 was a bit much. He said his usual service fee was $125. He did not explain why he was giving me such a break in that case. I said I would be willing to pay a reasonable service charge but not $100. He became very irritated and said in that case don't give me anything. If you want us to install the new unit call me as he turned his back and walked out..

UPON SERVICE WE HAD THE UNIT SERVICE BY SOMEONE ELSE 9 MONTHS EARLIER AND FOUND NO PROBLEM BUT THE ROOM WOULD NOT COOL IN THE SUMMER OR GET VERY WARM IN THE WINTER. THEY REPLACED SOME OLD DUC WORK ALONG TO SERVICING OUR UNITS THEY ALSO MADE A FEW RECOMMENDATIONS ON SETTING UP ZONES AND INSTALLING A FAN TO TAKE HOT AIR OUT OF THE STAIRCASE AREA. THE WORKERS WERE CLEAN AND EFFICIENT.

They started the job in March or April and finished it about two or three weeks ago. They were great. Paul had to work with an outside architect and engineer. He had to go to the city three or four times trying to get the permit passed for the screening. He was always very cost-effective in terms of getting the best price for us. They’re a good, honest company that makes things right.

The quality of the unit was very good and has been working well. There were some problems with the installation, there was damage on my wall. They came out and fixed it. They were the only company I could find that would install a central A/C system for my house. They figured out a way to install it since my house is so small. My house is so small no one else could find a way to do it.

I have used them since 1992 when they first repaired my air conditioning and I have used them ever since. They are reliable, dependable, and always fair. I have never had a problem with anything and if there has been a problem, they take care of it immediately.

It was good because they were on time, they did a good job, and they charged me a good price. I had three other contractors out who couldn't figure out the problem, but Custom Aire could.

THEY SEEMED ALRIGHT. THEY'RE A "B". EVERYBODY'S PRICE IS TOO HIGH IN CALIFORNIA. I PROBABLY CHARGE TOO MUCH FOR WHAT I DO. HE JUST DID HIS JOB, WAS HONEST WITH ME, and TOOK OFF.
