The remodel went very well. They were responsive, kept to their schedule and the finished product looks great. When issues arose, they worked with us and were committed to getting us what we wanted. The job did run a little over budget because they demo'd out a set of cabinets in a connecting laundry room that we ultimately wouldn't have replaced. They were very open to how to make it right, and ultimately we found a balanced solution that was fair to everybody. We didn't have a lot of change orders, but what we did ask about was quoted at a rate that seemed a little high to me, so if you think you may do any extras, be sure to get that quoted up-front. Additionally, while the finished product ultimately ended up looking great, you will have to be vigilant to be sure there aren't any cut corners on the finishing work. There were a few times that things needed to be redone, but they did that with no complaints and an obvious desire to see the customer made happy.

Not sure why provider could not just refund my fee. They never provided service requested refund and did not send check. Would not recommend. It's been so long not sure of the exact service date however several appointments attempts were tried to no avail.

Sept 2014: They came out., took measurements and discussed the project. When they provided the 3D drawings, it was completely off. They put upper cabinets where I currently have a window in the dining room, The drawings don't even show the window. They put a pantry on a different wall, than requested. They moved the dishwasher and took out a set of cabinets. (We specifically said the dishwasher stays in its current location. This was a complete waste of money. I had other companies come out and give me estimates and drawings for free. I would not recommend paying for drawings. Revised Review: March 2015 I received a call from their customer service. They apologized for the lack of service and the fact they did not meet the expectations. They indicated that the owner spoke to all parties involved to ensure that this would not happen again. They provided me with several options to "make it right" - which came in the form of a gift card. I was surprised and appreciative for the call and the sincere effort to provide better customer service and improve. I would consider them in the future and give them another chance to earn my business. My rating was changed on March 2015.

I liked the person who came, but the overall results were unsatisfying. No rendering was offered. A high quote was tossed out. Making it right: After speaking to the office, Classic Remodeling has stepped up. After what I assume was a misunderstanding in the office, restitution was made. Thank you again for Making It Right.

Lots of re-dos, but without complaints.

After a bumpy start, the owner came to my home to assist me with ideas and suggestions for remodeling my bathroom. He was very helpful.

Decided not to use this contractor at all. He got good reviews but was not a good fit for us. When he finally did make his appointment he seemed disappointed with what we wanted and complained that he didn't like offering coupons and specials. Really hard to get a hold of and not very responsive when I did get him. Estimate was not provided. I kept getting put off. Said he'd call back with estimate and I had to again reach out to him. Finally asked for reimbursement. Got the run around again. Said he's have to contact his secretary to get in touch with Angie's List. Very unhappy with this interaction.

I purchased a 3D design from Classic Remodeling. I met with their rep, very nice guy, on July 9th and was told I would have the design in a few days. After almost 2 weeks I still had not received it so contacted the rep and was told that I would have it a few days later. Almost a week after that, still no sign of it. And it feels a bit like a scam. Too bad because after the first meeting, I might have done business with this company. The story continues...my 3D design fee was refunded and the rep asked for another meeting...we'll see what's next.

I was not impressed with them at all. I didn't know what to expect, so I don't know whether it was on my end or their end, but it wasn't what I expected. I wanted a drawing of my bathroom, so that when I wanted to remodel it, I could show it to people, and that's what I thought I had signed up for. When I finally met with him, it wasn't about the drawing, it was about what we needed done, and this and that, and once he figured out that I didn't have enough money for what he was proposing, he kind of backed off. I was a little bummed at that point, and he said that I still needed to get the drawing to see if we could have it worked off. He said we could get it financed, and I told him that I am not sure if my husband would like me to do that, but I would like to discuss it with him after he left. He left without taking measurements and I thought that was really odd. He said he would get back to me, and a couple of days later, I wrote to him through Angie's List, and he said that it would take 6-10 days to get the drawings, and I wrote to him that my husband was concerned how he would do the drawings without any measurements, and he said he had what he needed, and he would get the drawing and the price to me. What he sent to me was a really bad drawing, and I think that was because I kept pushing him. It didn't include a bath tub, and the reason I want to get a remodel is because I want to get a bath tub in. I was only purchasing a consultation of the remodel. He was all for it when he came in, and then when he learnt that the price is too high, and he totally checked out when I asked him if there was anything my husband and I could do to make it cheaper. I paid 29 Dollars for the big deal, and was expecting a 300 Dollar design. His price was too high.

We don’t end up using them but we have a couple of minutes with them and they were great actually. The $29 thing was going to be like they promise to come out and take a look at the project and give us a 3D rendering what it would look like. That was bogus to be honest. The rendering was just not very good; we could do better ourselves on the computer here. They refused to let us keep it so we could only look at it; they wanted more money if we want to keep the thing. The $29 they collect upfront and that was the drawing and they gave us a huge estimate for the job. The $29 is going to be for the rendering of the job, the job itself they quoted it at $40,000 or something for the work we want to have done with remodeling of bedroom and bathroom, quite a bit of work, I mean, it’s understood that is going to be quite expensive, dissatisfied out there for the work came in twice as much as the 2 other quotes we got. But what really got us with them and for what it’s worth we called a couple of other companies for these, they promise 3D rendering it seems to be a thing I don’t want to call it scam, they are not the only one that have done that. I don’t know if you watch the home and gardening shows where they say, ok we are going to remodel your house as shown on the computer and it’s going to look like this, you see the colors of the painting, it’s beautiful. It doesn’t look like that, it was a black and white, highly 3D, look like a blue print, ok your door would be here and your thing would be here, it wasn’t what we have imagined and then what really got us where instead of $29 to do it but when you want to keep it, if you want it on a disc, then it’s going to be another $50 and we said, no, thank you. I would probably caution them, you know, if they offer then a 3D, a rendering to clarify upfront whether or not they are going to keep the thing and maybe ask if they could see it before they pay to make sure they are happy with it. They have some references if the work they were showing us is the work they actually did. It looks like they did good work. Construction company’s job is to do construction and not do renderings probably. It look like their work was good work, it’s just that rendering is a way for them to get in the door and the real thing they are trying to do is sell the big job and not so much the rendering. Just caution to be careful. I’m not saying bad things about them like I said I think they do nice work, just what we were offered and what we expected for $29 wasn’t what we got.

Jacob was great- very professional and finished on time! We even threw in some extra work- but nothing that his crew could not handle- Jacob is a designer and we gave him the task of picking out all the back splash and granite and bathroom. We gave him a theme- and he came through! If your contractor is asking you to meet him at his suppliers- rest assured- you do not need to take time out of your day to go to different tiles houses, plumbing, etc. Jacob has a great eye. Very professional from day one- We love our lighting - new bathroom and kitchen!

We were nervous at first. We didn't know what to expect. Jacob really explained what we needed.

Overall a great experience, very professional, polite, on time, and very high quality. Classic Home remodeling lives up to their name, my kitchen is gorgeous and functional with a ?classic? look and feel that I?m sure will look just as beautiful ten years from now. Oren Levy was a pleasure to work with, he has the best demeanor and seems to always be able to keep me calm. His crew especially Hector (Cabinets) and Carlos (Foreman) were very professional and genuinely eager to make sure everything was done to perfection. Will use Classic again and will have no problem referring them to our family and friends. Fabulous job, thank you so much! I love my new kitchen!

Appointment was scheduled a week in advance. I rearranged my schedule to be available and no one showed up or called.

The project started with a drab 1950's bathroom and the results were beyond my wildest dreams. Jacob and his crew were just awesome. Showed up on time and worked 8-12 hours everyday. When the bathroom was complete we were so pleased we continued on. Removed all the old carpet and tile and then demoed kitchen. I am so happy with the results My house went from Drab to FABULOUS!! The cabinet maker is AKA the Picasso of woodworking. All the cabinets are slow close as are the drawers. Custom made to my request. Jacob is also an amazing designer, will go with you to choose top quality tile and granite. So very happy with the final results. Thank you for making my dreams a reality!!

It is extremely hard to find people you can feel comfortable to work with right away and trust especially for the type of job we did, that is why I am happy that I found Classic Remodeling and will definitely be using them for future work as my Husband and I are planning on redoing our Kitchen next year. From day one Classic Remodeling was extremely honest and communicative I appreciated every step of the way from the price they honored, to them cleaning the job site every day, i was also relieved that they did not ask my for any more money along the way like past contractors have done. We called Classic to come and give us estimate on remodeling our Bathroom, they were the third company we met with and the least expensive. We didnt go with them because they were the cheapest that was a bonus, the main reason was you could tell that they were professional and honest. After signing up with them our project manager put together a 3D design so that we could envision the new finishes and how things were going to be placed since we were re-arranging the layout of the bathroom. After we approved the design, they took my husband and I to go pick out the finishes, this was great as we saw so many different options, and picked out the ones we truly loved. Day one they were able to to do all them demo, and clean everything out which i appreciate since we have kids and dogs running around the house, after that we started on the plumbing and electrical, once the new tub got into place it was time to put in the tile, new flooring, and vanity. The entire process only took a week which I was surprised by. The job was custom to exactly how we wanted and the team at Classic Remodeling was extremely professional and patient with us as I went back and forth between the different options I wanted. I truly recommend them for any remodeling job.

We started with the partial remodel of a guest bathroom as a trial (unknown to the contractor) in late 2012. This job was a big success so we proceeded with a major upgrade to the master bath. The designers worked with us to layout the floor space with our desired features. They made very efficient use of the space to provide us with a larger usable area. And they showed great enthusiasm for the design process. They helped us shop for fixtures and found us a good price on a spa tub. Their laborers are skilled, hard working and friendly. The end product looks great and is a pleasure to use.
