I will never call any other electrician again -- Anthony and his team were great. He provided professional, detailed estimates by email after our initial meeting, and brought samples of different can lights during the install to help guide the decision-making about going with LED or regular fixtures. The work was done expertly -- no unnecessary holes in the walls, and whenever it was necessary to make a hole to get the wiring to a new area he'd pick the perfect place, and after the patch you'd never know even if you knew where to look. He said he can use cameras to thread through the walls to make sure they can keep cuts/holes to a minimum. He fixed whatever he saw that needed fixing while he was here (who knew the light in the attic was out?). He was prompt and let me know of any delays. The job was easy to schedule and completed fairly quickly considering the amount of work required. Whenever he needed to get an additional part (because I added to the scope of work) he'd go out and be back with it in a few hours at most, while the rest of his team kept working.

Anthony of City Lights Electric was prompt, personable and arrived with all materials necessary to complete the various tasks requested. He coordinated his efforts with those of a plumber who was also working at the location, which was greatly appreciated. Anthony?s final bill was the same as the estimate he had given previously. I would (and will) definitely use City Lights Electric again!

Anthony and his Dad couldn't have more professional. Anthony gave a very clear estimate outlining all work to be performed prior to service. We selected City Lights over two other electrical contractors who were a little cheaper but City Lights came highly recommended by a friend who had recently done some work for us. We couldn't be happier with the job that City lights did! They were prompt, courteous, and kept a clean job site throughout the installation. The emt/pipe bending that was required due to the nature of our patio cover got a little complicated but you wouldn't know it by how it turned out. Anthony's meticulous attention to detail is nothing short of brilliant! Seriously! When we were initially stumped on how we would provide electricity for sconces on our patio cover support posts, Anthony and his Dad came up with the idea to build and frame little boxes so that the electrical conduit would cleanly come in to provide electricity to the lights. The miter cuts were perfect and the boxes turned out to be a great solution to our initial dilemma. The lights are all installed now and they look fantastic. I would highly recommend City Lights and look forward to using them again in the future for any of our electrical needs.

The tech determined that the problem was caused by user error (me) and not covered under the warranty which was confirmed by the warranty company. That is not the issue though, my problem with this contractor is the customer service skills (or lack thereof) of the tech that came to my house. He was condescending, rude and completely unprofessional. He made assumptions and is not a good listener. He acted like he did not want to be there. Now I still have to fix the problem, but I'll be looking for another contractor. Too bad, this company could have gained my business (outside of the warranty work) if only the tech has basic customer service skills.

Anthony and his father have been great to work with and the work was completed in 5 working days, as quoted, without interrupting our production schedules. I have already scheduled an appointment for additional electrical work.

The job became much more labor intensive when we found out a tree root had severed the original line. Anthony and his team were so professional and extremely fair, considering the work they ended up needing to do. We've already contracted with him for another job. Couldn't recommend him more.

Anthony gave me a quote and our HOA was in full agreement to have him do the work. Anthony and his work Chris and his dad Umberto showed up right on time Monday morning and did each condo replacement and the outside panel, finishing up on Friday of that week. Their expertise and professionalism was beyond the call. They did exactly what they said they would in the quote and even patched the walls where the openings were different with the new panels. I've used City Lights repeatedly and never have I had a bad experience. The Best!

I called City Lights and spoke with Anthony. I told what i needed and he was able to come by within the hour. He was very accomodating and replaced the 4 switches in a short time. I've used City Lights in the past and every time they never disappoint. They do professional work and they do it right. No shortcuts.

Messaged for service quote, and De Luca responded very promptly. Unfortunately, Culver City is out of his service range of Los Angeles. I did ask to see what he would have charged (just to have realistic expectation/ prevent sticker shock) but i received no response. I do appreciate the quick response

City Lights is a very professional company. Anthony did the quoting and work. We had three quotes and went with Anthony due to his professionalism affordability and location to our home. He has all his materials on his truck, he arrives prepared and works till he gets done what he set out to do for the day. He utilizes an IPAD, and is on this and so is available. He quickly got a turn around quote via email. Mid way thru the installation we had our electrical to the AC off he came back late in the night to see it was handled. He responded quickly to our email as when he left the job was not done but it was thought the AC was working. It turned out to not be and he dropped everything and ensured this was handled in a very short time. He upgraded the electrical panel and guided us thru all the steps of this project. We went from a recalled very old broken panel to a new D square 200 amp. He installed with little mess and down time. Southern Edison personnel that came to inspect told me he is a top rate provider. He also installed a total of 5 recessed lights with the higher end dimmers and a new fan. Anthony has invested in his company from his tools to his own knowledge and experience. This is what work one hopes to get in a service provider. One time, on budget and cleans up when done. Would highly highly recommend him. He does NOT go out of communication and answers the phone when you call or text. We had tried to use a larger company but the personnel we interfaced with on the quote and calls was so rude we realized if it was this bad trying to buy their services imagine if we had a service issue. With a little checking there were many bad reviews on the office personnel and when I asked the owner if he was aware he laughed and relayed this person had been there 8 years. We were handed off to this person for the quote it was wrong etc. We dropped this company and picked City Lights. Again owner answers the call, shows up, quote emailed service on time on budget and more then you expect. He deserves only clients who pay him on time and appreciate his work and company as he brings the value. He is our company of choice from here on out.

Anthony was great. He arranged his schedule so he could give an estimate just a few hours after I first called him. When he arrived, he asked if I wanted to check and see if the GC was there - he didn't want me to look bad for having another electrician look at the job - which I thought was extremely thoughtful. He got all the information he needed quickly and gave me an estimate just a few hours later even though he had a packed day. His estimate did end up being higher than the GC's contractor so we are going to go with the current electrician. But I will call Anthony again because I was so impressed.

Anthony was very quick to respond to my initial inquiry for replacing my outdated plugs. When he came out to give us an estimate, he checked our electrical panel box and informed us that it was done back in the 70's by a company that had installed faulty boxes. He gave us as estimate for replacing our plugs and for changing out our electric panel box. After he left, I went online to check out our electric panel box. Everything that he said was confirmed online. We decided to have all the work done. Anthony came out with another worker who turned out to be his father. As we watched them work, everytime we saw them talking they were smiling while they were communicating. I know this might seem like a dumb thing to say but I couldn't help thinking that happy workers are good workers.They worked quickly, professionally and with the least amount of personal inconvience considering that we had no power for about 6 hours. Anthony was so easy to talk to and took the time to answer my many questions in person or by email. The work was done 100 % to our satisfaction. Not only did we get a job done that exceeded our expectations, we now feel that we have a great electrician for any future needs.

Anthony the owner was very courteous and considerate from the very first phone call I had with him to our last transaction after the work was done. They set up an appointment and arrived within the time frame we agreed on. There were a couple of unexpected problems with the job but we were always appraised of the situation and consulted before any changes were made. I was very pleased with the work that was done and in fact expect to hire them again in the fall when I want to set up a new system for my Christmas decorations.

Very smoothly. Chris was early for the appointed time and was very professional. He did a great job.

From start to finish, things could not have gone better. From responding to our first call, to finishing up the last details, Anthony and his staff were consistently prompt and reliable. We set a pretty tight deadline because of a party we had planned, and they did not disappoint, even after we made some last minute changes. The results were everything we had hoped for and more. We got lots of compliments at our party! We had gotten an estimate to do this job from a large company last fall, but did not pursue it. When Anthony's estimate came in a bit lower, that was a good thing. Coupled with his prior good reviews and our own feeling of confidence after meeting with him, we decided pretty quickly to proceed with City Lights Electric. We sure made the right decision! Even when it came to adjusting the price because of the changes we made, Anthony could not have been more reasonable. We had used the same electrician for the past twenty or more years, but designing landscape lighting was not his thing. Now that we've had this outstanding experience, we have a new electrician!

Anthony flaked on me! I made an appointment with him for services to be rendered first thing in the AM of 5/29/2013. I cleared my calendar for the whole morning, took time off work so he could start by 8:00AM (we even agreed that should he desire to). At 10:11PM the previous night he had to cancel allegedly because some other customer was without power. Excuse me, I had an appointment and he doesn't have the courtesy to call me? He emails at 10:11PM at night and expects me to pick up my mail at that time? (which is passive-agressive by the way)... If you like dealing with FLAKEs (which I don't), then this might the guy for you! I don't do business with people that conduct their business in such an unprofessional manner.

City Lights was amazing - they came out immediately and sorted through the problem, even looking over the AC! Fixed another ceiling light socket and when we start the rest of the house upgrade, they have the job, hands down! Professional, caring and most excellent!

Very positive experience, communication was great, both by phone and e-mail. Installer showed up on time, helped my pregnant wife move furniture that we didn't think was going to be needed to move. Installer did work in less time than estimated, took special care to clean up after himself and did it all for the estimated price. Quality of work seems excellent so far. Would definitely use them again.

I've done a lot of remodeling around our condo myself but when it comes to electrical work, Anthony at City Lights is the only guy I'll call. He showed up promptly, on time, and after about 3 hours we had a great looking ceiling fan above our bed. Having to run wiring and install a junction box for the fan, Anthony left only a very small hole in the ceiling which he used to fish the wiring through to the junction box area. He even patched it up a bit so I wouldn't have much to do to finish it off. A total pro and i would highly recommend him to anyone. He's done 3 or 4 jobs at my place and will call him back in the future.

Anthony was on time, even a little early. He quickly diagnosed the problem with the overhead lights and receptacles to be some previously existing "questionable" wiring. Rather than take a short-cut to just get things working, he took the extra time and effort to simplify and correct the wiring to be sure things were right.

One Anthony arrived he checked the electrical board and all the breakers. He discovered that the issue was from the pole so it was a DWP issue. He took a picture on his smartphone of the volt reading on his votage meter to prove the issue. Sent me the picture along with a detailed explanation of the situation since I knew DWP would not believe me. He did not charge me for the call! DWP did not believe him or me even with the picture, but they did discover that it was a loose connection at the pole - Anthony was correct and I'm not crazy!

They did a great job, everything went as planned. They're always on time, professional, clean up after themselves. We will definitely use their services again.
