Description of Work: My bathroom light and kitchen light was not working. The kitchen light needed to be replaced and the bathroom needed more than I knew about. The company sent out a man who replaced the light I had purchased for the kitchen and "repaired" the bathroom light. The bathroom light worked for one week and began flickering and dimming and after one week of that, now barely turns on. This is the same issue I called the electrician for originally. I asked for a receipt when the service was done and was told I would receive an email with receipt. I have never received a receipt. I called and text the company and have yet to hear back. It is 5 weeks and I still have a non working light and cannot use this bathroom after the sun goes down......unless I bring a flashlight! I haven't heard from the company, I do not know if Angie's list will respond , as this is the first time I have used the service. I suppose the next step is to contact the Better Business ...

Description of Work: put outlet in bathroom

Description of Work: Added a CB to our panel and ran an outlet (220v) to our dryer unit. Quick to respond, quick and thorough on the estimate. Responsive on the work with excellent workmanship.

Description of Work: Anthony came out to check on an electrical problem we were having. He was on time, professional and fixed our problem with a flick of a switch. He was also great about explaining the problem, ways for us to fix it ourselves and giving us some options to fix the problem so that it does not continue to happen.

Description of Work: I received an estimate over the phone for installation of recessed lights and two ceiling fans. I had purchased the light fixtures and fans already. The estimate was reasonable, and the job was completed within a few days. I am more than happy with the results. Would recommend him to anyone.

Description of Work: Services performed: Upgrade electrical panel from 125amp to 200amp panel. I met with Anthony of City Lights Electric and was very impressed with his professionalism. He explained things thoroughly and understandably to someone who knows nothing about electricity. As a widow, I had been given a rough estimate by my inspector as to how much a new panel would cost so I had a ball park idea. Anthony was right on point. I met with two other electricians before Anthony. One came in at the same price, but I just didn't get the right feeling about him. The other electrician came in $3,000 over Anthony's price--there are definitely crooks out there--so beware! Anthony was a gem to work with. Just a nice guy and a hard worker. When some painters got some water in the panel, he came over within an hour of my phone call and corrected what they had done. I am so very impressed with him and just can't recommend him highly enough. Great price and service. I will definitely use him in the future for any of my electrical needs and refer him to friends and Angies List members.

Description of Work: It was barely 24 hours from initial contact to job completion. We spoke on Friday morning and scheduled for 8:30 Saturday morning. Anthony was on time and skillfully installed 3 ceiling fixtures in the amount of time and for the price he quoted on the phone. He protected my floors, cleaned up and was nice to my barking poodle. I will use City Lights in the future.

Description of Work: Smoke detectors were malfunctioning. Came out quickly, knew the current building codes requirements to replace with smoke and carbon monoxide units. Did a great job....once again. Thanks Anthony !
