Marvin was highly recommended to me by a co-worker who has used his services for many years for painting and construction. From the beginning to the end of the job, Marvin and his crew were fantastic. They did an amazing job of repairing our wood trim and siding (which had been severely damaged by woodpeckers and squirrels) and painting the entire house and trim. And for about half the price of another bid I got from another Craig's list provider. My husband and I were very pleased. After Marvin finished painting, I asked him to help finish installing our wood floors. He and his crew did a beautiful job. After that, I asked Marvin if he could give us a bid for remodeling our two bathrooms. Marvin's bid was dramatically lower than the other two bids I had obtained. And the results were better than I envisioned. Marvin and his son moved the plumbing, added plumbing for wall mounted faucets, framed for frameless showers, tiled the wainscotting, floors and showers (and even the closet), made vanities from cabinets, installed our new sinks and faucets, put in new casing, skim coated the walls, painted, and hung the new mirrors. Marvin made wonderful suggestions (including terrific design suggestions) all along the way that really improved the results. He recommended a glass provider for our frameless glass showers that saved us about $400 in one bathroom and over $700 in the other. Marvin is amazing to work with. We talked at the beginning of every work day about what would happen that day. It happened (unless there was an unforseen problem) and the worksite was cleaned at the end of each day. Marvin is a perfectionist . . . in a really good way, creative and extremely resourceful. There was no problem on any of the three jobs that he did not have several alternative ways to address. We are having Marvin give us a bid on our kitchen next!
