We set an appointment, but he called later and said he did not need to come out he had calculated the square footage from a computer program he used. He told me they were booked solid until January and I said the time frame would be fine. He promised to e-mail over a quotation, but I never received the quote or a follow-up phone call.

Description of Work: Emailed for appointment and never heard from company. Found another vendor on Angie's list, got a call back within an hour with appointment for estimate.

Ralph was very knowledgeable and worked with my husband and our painting crew - we wanted the steel gutters but wanted to paint them ourselves beforehand so he delivered them, we painted them and then they came back when we were finished and installed them.

Description of Work: Brother's Sheetmetal installed rain gutters on my house. They did a great job and offer a lifetime warranty on their product and labor. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to install rain gutters.

Description of Work: I've known Ralph of Brother's Sheet Metal for years. Every time I need metal work on any of my buildings, he is the first person I call. My first experience with Ralph is as follows: Among others, I have a commercial building close to the ocean with a sheet metal facade. I had trouble with it every 2 or 3 years. It would rust, blow off, etc. I found Ralph through a friend. He replaced the facade, and it's been there for over 20 years. I insisted on using him when I built a house in the Palisades. The contractor only agreed to use him if his price was right, which, of course, it was. The contractor was so impressed with Ralph that he hired him for many, many subsequent projects. How's that for a good sheet metal guy!

Description of Work: They are limited as to what they'll install. It's amazing that a rain gutter repair and installation company does not install vinyl rain gutters, especially when most of them are recycled materials and we are all trying to go green..

Description of Work: If every company was as honest and hard working as Brothers Sheet Metal - the world would be a far better place. There is a special place in my heart for folks who are great at their chosen profession - and take pride in their work. First, let me just say that the owner, Ralph comes out himself to do the estimate - which is such a breath of fresh air. Then he got me an estimate with a very fair price - fast. Honestly, being a homeowner in Santa Monica I've had my share of overpriced jobs poorly done. But that was not the case with Brothers Sheet Metal. They scheduled my installation. Emailed me the payment forms to sign and return. The appointment day came - Brothers Sheet Metal guys showed up, pulled off my old gutters and replaced them with crispy new ones. It was a big job and they did it well. By far, BSM has been the best contractor experience I've ever had. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to repair or replace their gutters. This company is honest, uses quality materials, doesn't rip you off and the workers are polite and respectful - heck they even threw in a few extras on the house.

What can I say – the arrived exactly when they said they would, did the work in the time frame estimated, did not cost a penny more than they quotes, and did a beautiful job.
