Called at 8:30 on a Sunday, and the service guy was here within an hour. He made sure to walk us through each step of what he did, and repaired it quickly. While he was here, we had him check out the rest of the Heating and AC system, and he helped us take care of some work we've been meaning to do for a long time, with a fair price. He also offered us their service plan to keep the furnace and AC units clean and working.Extremely nice guy, cleaned up after himself, and did great work.

Discovered thermostat had crapped out on a really hot day. Had seen a/c repair ad in latest Angie's List magazine so I took a look at their website and called. Spoke to a man by phone at 1 pm and explained the problem. Gave me a same day appointment (saturday afternoon!) between 2-4 p.m. Got a call at 1:40 telling me a technician would be there in 20 minutes. Technician arrived at 2:00, determined the problem, and by 3:00 he was done. Yay! Also, at my request, took a look at my two heat-a/c systems, told me how to clean the filters, gave me feedback about the age/ features of the systems, and recommended basic service next fall before it's heater season! The technicians name was Igor and he was pleasant, efficient and clean. To me, it was almost a miracle to call a company for help, for the first time, on a Saturday afternoon, and get such excellent service. They waive the $65 service call charge if you have them do the work. They also took off $20 for the Angie's List coupon. I don't really know how much a thermostat costs (I.e. at Home Depot), but I was perfectly comfortable with the cost for parts and labor under the circumstances. I will absolutely use this company again.

I was replacing our thermostat with a new Internet-enabled model. I followed the directions to the letter but when I mounted the front panel of the new thermostat, I had a dark panel. I rounded up the usual suspects and found nothing I could do so I called Around the Clock at about 230P. I was told the technician would be here between 300P and 600P. At about 400P, Igor knocked on the door ready to start work.I examined the wiring and the instructions for the new thermostat and then did some electrical tests. He quickly determined that there was a blown fuse in the unit which he replaced. He then mounted and tested the thermostat. He also lubed the motor and checked the rest of the system. He then checked the coolant level and added two pounds. Considering that I needed a service call for coolant anyway, it was an excellent service call. Service was more than I expected and Igor explained everything he was doing and made some suggestions for minor routine service. I will be scheduling routine maintenance with them once summer ends. Charged me for labor only since the unit was under warranty. They had the part on the truck and instead of making me wait for the manufacturer to send the part, they installed their spare. This was on a Saturday and they came about an hour after I called them. Their people are polite, helpful, professional, prompt and efficient. I could not be happier. I have used them before and I will continue to use them.

Oustanding service from start to finish. Can't recommend these guys highly enough. Their price was also the most competitive of the 3 bids we got, plus they handled all the city/state bureaucracy on our behalf. The job took 2 days - with another half-day for duct testing and additional sealing of our 1920s registers.

I purchased the Air tune up special for $79. When they came, they found that i had a freon leak. I made another appointment for a diagnostic service. I found them to be honest, up front and knowledgable about what the problem could be. He explained the process very well and what my options were. They were able to find the leak and repair it. Everything is working great. They also applied my diagnostic fees to the repair work and included the freon so it was very resonablely priced. I would highly recommend their services.

I searched for a highly rated Heating & A/C company on Angie's List and found Around the Clock. I contacted them and requested someone come out to my house as soon as possible. They were able to send someone to my house the same day. The technician diagnosed a seized motor, which I had suspected, and told me that it would indeed need to be replaced. They had to order the motor and a couple days later showed up to replace the motor. Cost was much cheaper than I was expecting it to cost and the customer service was very good. I would highly recommend and would use Around the Clock again in the future.

We were looking to install a heater/ac unit in our second home. We wanted the install to be completed while we were in town, so we called a week in advance to set up an appointment. We schedule an appointment for Saturday, March 17 between 9am and 10am. We waited until noon, but no one from Around the Clock called or showed up. This response was very surprising, considering the reviews that I read on Angie's List. Very disappointing. Addendum: Michael S, from Around the Clock called after reading the above review. He explained that the person I spoke with to set the appointment never forwarded the information to him. He apologized that he did not show up for the appointment and asked if he could do anything to rectify the situation. Michael was advised that we had someone else do the job and so far we were satisfied. During the course of our conversation, Michael requested that we append the original review to reflect that he called to apologize for the oversight.

They were great. It was a good price. It was a little lower than their competitors. I was happy with their presentation and the type of unit they installed. Their quality, responsiveness, and professionalism were great. I would definitely use them in the future.

They did a fantastic job with the installation when they first put in the air conditioning and heating. They did a great installation and the service was first class. The quality of work was excellent. We will continue to use them in the future and we’re very happy with their service.

The installation team showed up, on time, and ready to work. They were polite and curteous, and I really felt very comfortable with them. They were very tidy and made sure anything that might get dirty was covered, etc. They get anA+!! I just cannot say enough about the entire experience. Good pice too, but the service is what will have us comming back and actively referring others. The company and its employees are top notch.

I had made the phone call as soon as they were open and they were able to come out that morning. It took him less than 30 minutes to figure out what was wrong and to fix the problem. Very polite, answered all questions I had and was very informational when explaining what the problem was. Very professional.

Their service people are prompt and gave me a lot of information about the problem that I had. They were very good overall.

Their bid was very reasonable, they used great quality equipment, they were nice and personable, and they got the job done in the time quoted.

First company "EA" said computer board had burned out. Also my humidifier was leaking in the overflow pan (water present in pan and evidence of outside discharge) It would cost $1,300 to replace the computer board and another $300 to replace the leaking humidifier lines. I wanted a second bid. I called Around the Clock in the afternoon and they came to house by 6pm. They confirmed computer board needed to be replaced. He showed me how humidifier was spraying water and offered that if I didn't want/need the humidifier he could turn off the water supply and it would no longer leak and the water in the overflow pan would just dry up. This was an easy visit to the water heater to turn off the water line. Done. I also asked him to look at the a/c condenser unit outside. Last summer "EA" told me to replace a capacitor that was going bad (but I'd had no problems with the unit and didnt do anything then).He confirmed that the capacitor was going bad. He came back the next day at the agreed time and installed the new computer board and a new capacitor-both for $600 total with a one year warranty. He used a new Lennox computer board. Oleg was prompt and professional and explained everything to me. I saved $1,000 by getting a second bid.

. The salesman, Michael F. arrived at my home on 02/24/2012 at the time promised. He was able to present two different estimates based solely on my preferences and desired work to be done. He did not attempt a hard sales push or attempt to sell me anything I did not need. He was professional and courteous. I called him approximately 1 day later and told him that the price point was acceptable. I was able to schedule an install date based on my schedule. Michael is a true professional. The installers showed up promptly at the time promised and began work immediately. They took care in moving furniture and place drop clothes to and from the area where they were working. A small problem occurred during the installation, but the work crew told me step by step what they would do to solve it which was a relief to me. As a matter of fact, the communication with the crew was excellent and they always let me know what step they were on in the install process. That was reassuring. The installation took approximately 5 hours total and when they finished the foreman took the time to answer my questions, demonstrate the new units and even pre-filled out my rebate application that I needed to submit city of Burbank. These guys are great! Buy with confidence.

A salesman came and gave us a quote with several different options. After we decided to do the work with them, the owner/engineer came out to look at specifics and make sure we knew exactly what was involved with the job. They thought it would take two days, it ended up taking three. The servicemen were neat and courteous. The system works great. They also made applying for all of our rebates easy.

Our AC quit working in the hottest part of summer in Southern California. Our previous HVAC servicer could not come for a couple of days so we tried Around The Clock. They had someone there the same day. We have been told in the past that our AC unit is unusual, ATC said the same thing but they were happy to research it. We needed a new blower motor and it took them several days just to find somewhere to acquire the part - they called regularly with updates. Our attic fan had quit also, and they came and replaced it while we waited for the part to come in. As soon as the part came they called to set up time to install it. Oleg was great to work with. He wanted to make sure we knew how to operate everything properly to keep it in good shape.

When the furnace quit totally on Christmas Day, it was mighty cold. I went to my son's house, and his had quit as well. The next day we contacted Around the Clock. Whenever I have called them, they are willing to come right out, unless the furnace starts working again--which it did. However, the next time it quit, they came that day and tried to fix the furnace motor although warning me that it might not fix it. They also went to my son's house--and fixed his. When the furnace went out again a week later, they hurried back and tried everything to get it going to no avail. Since it has also been a problem balancing the heat around the house since the ducts had no dampers, we decided to just give up and start with a new more eco-friendly system so we wouldn't have to worry about it. They scheduled it the next day and a full crew came and cleaned out all of the old equipment, installed the new, cleaned everything and were done by mid-afternoon. They were all very friendly, professional, and nice to work with. And we are again comfortable in the house.

I called Around The Clock Heating and A/C Service on a Saturday around noon and said I need a repairman to come by and determine the problem. They arranged for a repairman (Yuri ??) to come by later that same afternoon. He examined the gas furnace and explained to me a couple possible sources of the problem. One was a master circuit board which would have been fairly expensive to replace, but he indicated that the problem was more likely due to a faulty flame sensor that would be much less expensive. He replaced that part and the furnace began working properly again. I used an Angie's List coupon for the company which reduced the price by $20. He also examined the furnace filter and replaced with a new one that we had. I was very satisfied with the entire process and would certainly use this company again.

When my 21 year old heater stopped heating the house in the middle of a cold snap I called another heating repair company (not from Angie's List). They gave me an estimate of $900 to fix my problem. Not trusting this estimate, I called Around The Clock Appliance Repair as my house was now 59 degrees. I called them at 8 in the morning, they had a repairman at my house before 10 and my heater was fixed by 11 for $198. Igor was very knowledgeable, helpful, informative and great at communicating. He found the best way to fix the problem for the least amount and informed me about my options for the future. I will ultimately use this company to replace my entire heating and air conditioning system. I highly recommend this company!

Went very well. I had a wall heater that wasn't turning off. I had a company come out, and they told me it was a broken thermostat, and replaced it. The next day, the heater still wasn't turning off. The guy from the company came back and said it was a broken gas valve, and it would be 530 dollars to fix it. I pointed out that I had paid them $350 already to repair the heater, and it wasn't repaired. They said that 'with these old heaters, you do the cheapest fix first and hope for the best'. They said that since the thermostat had in fact been broken (which was true) they had only been paid to repair that, etc. I called Around the Clock and was told it was an $85 service charge for them to come out, with the $85 applied to the work if they did it. I wasn't pleased, since the reports said $65, but the very nice lady answering the phones said it was more because it was a heater and not a furnace, and there are less people who work on those. I said okay and set a time for someone to come out the next day. About 1/2 hour later she called and said that there was a service guy working in my area, and would I like them to come out that day. I said yes and she gave me a 2 hour window. Leon arrived right in the middle of the window. He was very nice, came in and started in on the heater. He saw there was a problem with the wiring and fixed it. Then he had me test it a bunch of times with the thermostat, and it seemed to work. He was getting ready to clean up when suddenly it stopped working. We tested it a few more times and it worked, then stopped working, etc. He got back in there and took another look. He figured that there was a problem in the electric wire that ran behind the baseboards. He asked if I minded him running a new wire in front of the baseboards (rather than tearing them out and replacing the wire, he would just cut it near the problem area and bypass it.) I said no and he cut it/put in a new wire/connected it to the baseboard so it looked tidy. It worked! Everything is still working perfectly, and he even told me that there was a coupon on the web site that I didn't see, so I got an extra $20 off the service. In the end he charged me $100 total. I was VERY pleased with the experience.

They arrived on time and went right to work. The duplex, in Culver City, is old (built in 1948). The wall heaters (not as old, but still old) did not work at all. The guys came in and removed both of the old wall heaters much quicker than expected. They spent a great deal of time testing the news ones and also took the time to show me how to use them properly. I've used them in the past, on a different property, and would use them again without question.
