I purchased a coupon for $30 for a large appliance to be inspected. they were extremely prompt and courteous. Located the issue quickly and had replacement component on hand. fixed within minutes. plus they accredited the initial $30 I spent twoard the new component. all around great service

They were very polite, speaking with two different people and they said they don't service my area. I searched the Big Deals using my zip code and their company came up. It would be nice if they were clearer about what areas they service. I live in Long Beach and they do service areas that are very close. If they decided to include Long Beach I would happy to try their services based on our phone converation.

It went well. The repairman came when they said they would and was very professional. the only thing that annoyed me was that he had to come twice when he realized he didn't have the replacement part. Right when he showed up, he didn't even have to open up the dryer to know the problem. I just told him what I told the operator who i booked through. That my dryer squeaked really loudly. They should've conveyed that info to him so he could have anticipated what part he might need. They knew my Dryer model already. Would have saved him two trips and me from having to clear out two days to deal with this issue.

We had a slight mix-up about the appointment time, but everything went very well. This is the third time I have used Around the Clock and I would definitely use them again. Everything is carefully explained and there is no attempt to sell you something that is not needed. The technician was very professional.

My wife and I were very pleased with Around The Clock. I had received an estimate from our regular A/C company that its annual A/C maintenance revealed a need to change out our A/C condenser and coils for a significant sum of money and a repair that was likely only to last 2-3 years. That prompted me to inquire about changing out the whole system and that company gave me an estimate which lacked explanation -- they didn't disclose manufacturers' names and models, and I had the feeling that whatever sum we agreed to the company would install appliances that assured its profit margin without much concern about whether they were the best units for our house. I asked some friends for a referral to another company if they were happy with the new furnace and A/C system they installed last year. They were happy with the company and referred me to Around The Clock. My friends were introduced to Around The Clock at Costco on Van Nuys Blvd., and mentioned that going through Costco offered financial benefits in the form of credit at Costco in addition to Around The Clock's competitive pricing and any other rebates that Around The Clock would help me obtain. I went to that Costco, found the Around The Clock booth and set up a time for their representative to come to my house two days later. Michael Campbell came to my house to survey my existing furnace and A/C system and then discuss options with me. I went with a Lennox system as they are a provider, I was very impressed with both the heating and the cooling systems, and I chose units among the top of the line. Michael was very helpful with all the paperwork, descriptions as detailed as I wanted, and worked to accommodate my schedule for a Friday and Saturday installation (it took 4 men 2 days). I found Michael very personable. The installation team showed up on the designated day, as did the owner of Around The Clock to make sure that everybody was clear about the job, to verify that everything was correct, and to answer any questions I might have. The installation crew did an excellent job of protecting my house from any damage, covering all the hardwood floors and the carpet with drop cloths. They had clean appearances, kept their voices down, were very respectful and quite pleasant. I was amazed at how efficient they were and how quickly they got things done. Ultimately I was thoroughly impressed by the size of the machine installed in the attic, how much care was given to its setup, and all the re-ducting. In the final hour or two of the installation the owner of the company returned to inspect everything himself and configure the system so that it distributed hot and cold air evenly throughout the house and to show me how to use the new state-of-the-art thermostat that came with this top tier system. The iComfort thermostat allows me to program and control the system from my smartphone! Since the job was completed a month ago we've been very happy with how well the system works. Our house is now cool upstairs on hot days when before it was a sauna upstairs. And it's still cool downstairs. The one time the heat came on it worked just as well. I love that I can digitally set the thermostat to cool the house if the temperature rises higher than I program it and to heat the house if the temperature drops below where I set it. I'm also getting a rebate from the electric company, another from the gas company, and a substantial credit from Costco. The only thing I haven't received yet is an electric bill since installing the new system, however I expect that the bill will have gone down in light of the high efficiency of the Lennox A/C unit Around The Clock installed. Overall, my wife and I would recommend Around The Clock for furnace and A/C needs.

First of all, contact was super prompt!! Since I was busy, I didn't get back to them for a week but when I called to schedule the appointment, they couldn't have been nicer or easier to schedule. They even said they could do it the next day! AWESOME! We scheduled the appointment for 8-10a, window and Alex showed up at 830. So great!! Alex took a look and figured out the problem right away. He was super fast and worked through the problem. After showing us that the dishwasher was draining fine, he cleaned up and left. So nice, fast and great service. Really appreciate finding a great provider and I will call again, for sure!

I don't know if I should level the blame on the service provider or Angie's list. Saw coupon for reduced fee service call. There were NO geographical exclusions but as soon as I paid the money for the service call, the provider told us they didn't service our area. Applied for and received refund from Angie's List.

First of all, the original appt was for wed may 14th from 2pm-5pm. At 5pm, I call because no one has stopped by or called. It turns out he is another 45 min away. I couldn't stay any longer so we had to reschedule. why the tech couldn't tell someone this earlier is beyond me. we rescheduled for 8-10am on thu and he showed up at 9:30am-9:45am. My ice machine bracket seemed broken but it really wasn't. it turned out the bracket just needed to be put back into the holes which can't be seen from the front. instead of just fixing me that/showing me and charging me the $35 for the visit, he then took out the ice machine to make sure it was "working properly" and to possibly clean it. i asked before he did that what the charge would be to clean it since i had no problem with the ice machine working (as evident by all the ice as a result of the lowered bracket). he said it would be $120 but that he would look at it first. he then rinsed it out for 2 minutes in the sink from the top (nothing special) and screwed it back on. then charged me $100 (with a$20 discount per the coupons). he literally spent 15 minutes total for $100. he didnt tell me "cleaning it" meant running it under the sink which i could do. also, it didnt need cleaning. i will NOT use these guys again. when someone cheats you for something totally unnecessary and small, you can't trust them on ANY OTHER job. too bad because i need a repair company for an apartment building we own in ktown.

I called at 3pm on a Saturday and by 4pm someone arrived. They fixed the problem in under an hour and I had AC going right away. Amazing. So prompt professional and nice. One of the best repair experiences I have ever had. Great company.

All went well. Some oil from the old unit made a few spots on my neighbors driveway, That same evening they sent a high pressure and heated wash company to clean it up. My neighbors concrete driveway never looked so good as when the steam pressure wash was finished.

Did a great job. Removed old unit and installed new in one day with little disruption to the household.

The provider was unable to fix the appliance, due to the parts not being made anymore. He couldn't have been faster, more courteous or kind. His name was Sasha.

Oleg was very punctual and found the problem immediately! He replaced the thermostat in our basement bedroom. He was very patient with me. I would DEFINATELY use this company again!

They arrived on time. Technician was punctual, professional and accurate with the scope of repair. He needed to order a part and came right away once he got the part! Would use them again if needed!

Dishwasher still not working. The repairman thought it was minor repair and fixed what he thought was issue. He left, I used the dishwasher and water was on the floor. I had to call him back. It appears it was the motor and not a minor problem. he was courteous and prompt but the washer was not fixed.

Today is Sunday August 11th. My wife an I discovered that our refrigerator was not cooling and food in the freezer was no longer frozen. I looked for repair services in Angies list that had a good rating and might possibly be able to schedule a service call for Monday or Tuesday. I phoned Around the Clock Appliance Repair expecting to get an appointment on Monday or Tuesday and to have to take time off of work to meet the technician. I called them about 10 AM. I was delighted when I was told that a technician could be at our house by 3 PM (A++ for responsiveness). The technician knocked on our door at 1:30 PM (A++ for punctuality). He diagnosed the problem in about 10 minutes and let us know that the relay needed to be replaced, and that while it was unlikely but possible, that if the condenser did not restart it might also need to be replaced. We received quotes for both repairs and authorized him to proceed. He had the correct part in his truck and by 2:30 the relay was replaced (the condenser was OK) and the refrigerator was back in operation (A++ for professionalism). Four and a half hours from the initial call to satisfied customer - I would be happy to recommend Around the Clock Appliance Repair to anyone needing a Repair Technician. Okay. Same House 23 years. I used to have a home warranty service (@ $450 per yr) that I hardly ever used but they were in charge of sending repair services and seeing it thru to the end. Never had a bad experience with them because they did not pay the vendor for the repair until the service was completed to the customer's satisfaction. The contract expired so Ithought I'd join Angies List where I could get good reliable referrals to local vendors. I researched and picked a vendor who was close to home and had good reviews. He was punctual, clean and polite..and DID NOTHING! He ran a cycle of the DW, showed me things that I knew, like the water has pressure, it's distributing the water adequately, etc. I asked him if food was caught in the grinder or impeller and he with further urging from me reluctantly removed the bottom grate to find a piece of plastic and a lemon rind that he conceded might be affecting the cleaning power. Meanwhile the gasket of the soapdish is obviously broken yet he insisted it would have no affect on the cleaning. I asked if he could replace it and he said it was not necessary. I asked him to "please replace it, cost is not an object" - still not necessary. I appreciate that he did not try to upsell me. I do not appreciate that he did nothing and left me with a still broken dishwasher. His name was Oleg, he did nothing. I was quoted $45 on the phone. When I asked Oleg how much he said $85 dollars; he explained to me that labor was billed "differently" if no repairs were rendered. He would not honor the 20% Angies's List discount coupon that was printed off their website because repairs were not rendered; even though I begged him do the repair repeating that cost was not a consideration - I just want it fixed and working right. He conceded and honored the $45 quote but charged me $20 for the DW Cleaner he sold me called Glisten. Glisten sells for $4.99. He left and I was relieved and will NEVER HIRE THEM nor would I recommend them to anyone. They are the home owners nightmare. They came, didn't see a lot of money in a big repair, refused to do the minor repairs that would have imporved my situation, and he left me with a machine that is no better than it was when I called. I'm out $65. Can't blame Angie's List because the vendor had good reviews but now I doubt the perspective those reviews reflect because these guys were talked about like they were great and they failed to address a simple problem like a DW that isn't cleaning properly. Amazing that they are listed as preferred providers. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Everything was great. We called them because our dishwasher wasn't draining. The repairman was on time, explained what he was doing, and fixed the dishwasher quickly. It was completely painless and we'll definitely call them again when we need repairs.
