I also had a bit of trouble getting in touch with them. They were good at the deep cleaning however they completely forgot about a whole room in the house which I did ask them to clean. It was the dining room so it was not tucked away or hidden. Also they left the oven cleaner foam in the oven as they were preparing to leave when I found it. Of course they cleaned it right up. They did not seem comfortable or something with dusting things high up for example. It was ok but I suspect that is not what they are used to doing. So a rating of just above average.

First of all, Ron is on it....he responds quickly and gets right to the point. He shows up when he says and delivers the job like no other. I have had many tree service providers, but none with the integrity and ethics like Ron and his crew. They arrived on time and began job right away. Because the front tree is close to my neighbors house, Ron and his crew made sure to cover their front window and protect the area. They also took down a portion of my Xmas lights to ensure that they would not get ruined. Sometimes when your get your trees cut, they look terrible, but not this time....The shape and consistency of branches is perfect and looks great. When they finished each section, they cleaned and removed ALL tree branches and leaves, the front and back were immaculate, my yards actually looked better than when my gardener comes. I was so impressed with the gentleman who worked out front. He put my Xmas lights back up and took such care to get them perfect, he even asked me to turn them on because he wanted to make sure that everything worked okay. We are so happy with the job done, we will always use Ron's services. He has a great crew that really takes pride in what they do. Ron came when he promised and cleaned up after he was done. I needed some extra items hauled away and he quoted me a fair price. When needed, I will use Ron again as his prices are fair and he is easy to work with.

This was a $149 big deal service and it went pretty well. It was more money than we thought it would be, but they were good enough. I paid about $260 above the price of the deal for extra time and hauling. They did their job and were diligent. Ron was a nice enough guy, I don't want to take his business away at all. It just surprised us that it was over $400. It is a small garage.

Ron's Hauling Service is wonderful. He and his guys were on time and extremely professional. I purchased a large home that had A LOT of trash and debris scattered around the property. He and his guys (4 in total) worked nonstop for 6 hours to clear away everything. I was amazed how they were able to break down everything and haul it all away in one day. I am a female and I'm very impressed with the respectful way I was treated by all the men and never felt as though I was being taken advantage of during the price negotiation process. They worked hard to remove a ton of trash and never damaged any property during the process. They also cleaned up the general work/breakdown area once the job was finished. I highly recommend Ron's service. The price may seems a little high at first, but when you see the hard work involved you'll understand.

Most of the reviews for this company are on the mark. Not very responsive. Tried numerous times via Angies List messaging and phone. Once finally got through, person didin't even know I had been sending messages. Spoke with him a couple of times and every time he couldn't remember who I was. Failed to return more phone calls. Tried texting and still no response. After a little over a week, finally hooked up. Sent him pictures of material to be removed with "to scale" equivalents. Said couldn't quote me had to see it. Said he would show up ready to do work, quote and if OK would then perform work. Set date, had to reschedule due to his having a vehicle accident...no problem. Once he showed up, he said he had to quote higher than usual because he had to rent a truck since his was damaged. What?! You provide a service based upon your having a truck. You wreck it then want to upcharge? Anyway, his quote to remove approximately 5 standard wheel barrows of ?stuff? was $275. I was at the end of my rope as I needed stuff out for event we were planning and already had two weeks tied up with back and forth communication. Took the offer but made my complaint about having to pay for his rental due to wrecked truck.. He mumbled something about dump charges, and yadee yadee. So off he went. Did a super job and cleaned/ leveled area where stuff was. Nicely done so maybe the up charge was OK. HOWEVER, the night he performed work, my wife and I were traveling. Wife?s purse stolen with CCs and Checks. Late at night so contacted financial institution to stop payment on checks and protect CCs. I contacted him about the stop payment and he said no problem. So, to the bottom line?this guy has a hard time returning phone calls for business, but, you guessed it, 2 ? 3 phone calls, emails and texts every day until I made good on the check. I told him not to deposit it but he did anyway. Then he got pushy wanting the returned check charges. I obliged since I figure myself a decent person. However, he continues to send over-the-nose emails about how ?decent people settle their debts?. Man, accounts frozen and CCs cancelled and he now gets in the communication mode. Then he sicks his wife on my phone leaving threatening collection style voice mails. Bottom line, the guy does great work but definitely not a good human being. Thinking he is a little Alzheimer?s like and maybe lost it. Anyway, if you can get him to respond and keep his mouth shut, he is a good quality worker. Not apt to try again.

It went very well. They also cleaned up after them selves, which I was surprised by that.

Easy to set up appointment. Responsive. Showed up on time and performed beyond expectations.

Extreme difficulty and many attempts to get anyone to return my phone calls to set anything up. After that much work, I cancelled and got my money back.

Their services were fine. I think I paid $50 more because I asked them to haul away a television. They were very quick. They came out the next week. I was just disappointed that they would not take the paint because it said right in there that they would take paint. My interaction with them and their work were fine.

He came when I was out of the town. I was sent the pictures of the before but I never got the pictures of after he completed the job. When I got back to town, which was a couple of months after he did the work, he hadn't done what he claimed he was doing. He said he was removing small palm trees, about 3 or 4 feet high. He asked if I wanted to pay extra to have those removed completely. He didn't remove any of them, he just cut the leaves back while I paid several hundred dollars more to have him remove them. I can't say anything good about the service. I know I didn't get my money's worth on the extra that I paid.

They did pretty well but I wasn't completely content. Because of the scheduling in part, they were late. They did call and everything and I wanted them to come the next day but they pushed on this day and then it was just very rushed. What I purchased was 4 hours of work. They brought 4 people, so that is 4 hours but they counted the 15 minutes of setup time outside while he was talking to me as part of the work, so really that's 3 hours. The work that they did do was good. They were pretty amazing but it was just so rushed to do everything in an hour. Move this, move that. They went over if I wanted to get everything done. It was another 15 minutes which was what they used up at the first. They really did work hard, it was just the nickle and diming the beginning and set up, and the clean up. You don't really expect that.

They came very late; it was not a good experience.

I was very disappointed in the lack of customer service.

It went better than we expected. The foreman was on top of it. He kept the men working at a clip and we were really impressed with the care he took.

After prepaying $149 for the service back in March and setting up an appointment with Pauline who works for Ron's Hauling & Clean Up, we were counting on this provider to honor our standing appointment in Torrance on 7/28/15 between 8:00 a.m. & 10:00 a.m. provide help with a garage cleaning, as well as shelving installation. On the morning of our appointment, approximately 8:00 a.m., my husband and I placed a call to Ron, the owner, to confirm our appointment and inquire as to when the workers would be arriving. Ron informed us in that phone call that due to a couple of cancelled appointments in our area, that he wasn't planning on coming out to service our job because it wasn't worth it to him to drive out from San Fernando given we were based in Torrance. When I pointed out that that this was a breach of our agreement and he advertises "service in the Torrance area" he rambled on about how he needs to stay in business and he would try and look into rescheduling our appointment on a day when there were other appointments in our area. Say what??? I mean, that approach could go on forever; right? How is that supposed to sit right with a customer: "Your appointment is only good as long as there is no other cancellations in your area."?? Pul-eeeze. Again, I consider this a breach of good faith on Ron's Hauling and Clean Up and would strong discourage anyone from using this company. A reputable business owner isn't going to break a standing appointment with a customer and punish a customer due to cancellations by other customers in a particular area. Our position is that Ron's Hauling shouldn't represent that they service the Torrance area and make appointments with customers in the Torrance area if they have no intention of driving to Torrance on the day of an appointment due to other cancellations in the area. What nonsense! If he's worried about staying in business, burning customers and not honoring appointments is a sure way to ruin a business! I found Ron's attitude very unprofessional and am insisting that his company reimburse me the $149 that was prepaid back on March 28, 2015. We did not receive the service that we paid for and our appointment was not honored. Don't waste your time trying to hire this company. They don't hold up their end of the bargain. I give them an F in terms of providing any sort of service, as well as an F in holding to any standard of professionalism and courtesy.

They did an excellent job of removing all the rubble.

Went fine. A little scheduling problem due to the fact we were a small load and were only on site at certain times.

Ron and his crew did an excellent job of clearing the yard. The pricing was a little confusing, as I bought a "deal" for 4 hours of yard clearing, but then hauling was extra. But they worked hard and they did a good job. The cost just seemed on the high side compared to what others have charged.

Apparently, the deal I bought didn't include a hillside property. I was made aware of this when the job was 3/4 done. I went back to the deal I bought and read through the fine print, which didn't say anything about additional charges for hillsides or any exclusions of hillsides. t think it was a genuine misunderstanding, but I didn't appreciate being told it was going to cost more before having the opportunity to decline the service, prior to starting, so it could have been called off. I explained this on the phone and Ron offered to split the difference. I again stated that I thought it was unfair to surprise me with additional charge that I hadn't counted on. He asked me how I wanted to resolve it. I said that I wanted what I paid for - 4 hours of yard cleanup. He seemed upset with me, but agreed.

It was fine. They were careful loading- truck was already over half full of lawn and tree trimmings when they arrived,so they had to carefully maneuver items to get them to fit. I was a little surprised to see a truck that full at 9:30 in the morning . There was little clarity on what was included for the package price. We needed some larger items taken, so we paid significantly extra. The office was easy to deal with for scheduling.
