Rain Away Seamless Gutters

I called them, got an estimate. They came out within a day or two, did the job while I was at work and billed me afterward. No complaints. Smooth as silk.

Rain Away were willing to put on a different type of hanger than is normally supplied. It is recommended by the manufacturer of the gutter. It's called invisible hanger or something like that. We've got a half round gutter which is a little different than the OG K rain gutters that are installed. Normally they just stick a spike in with the barrel and you can see the head of the spike and this is a hidden hanger. It is a very clean line. They were willing to meet my request, the manufacturer's recommendation. They also had to cope with part of my front which is mitered and it is at an angle so it's kind of a difficult cut. They did that and it looks beautiful. They had to cut some tiles and it looks fine. They gave me a very low price for the standard type gauge. When I asked for these extra hangers and the half round the price went up. I didn't get a competitive rate, and I would assume that other installers too would have had to increase their price because of the fittings.

Kyle came out last Friday and prepared an estimate to clean out our gutters and repair some downspouts. We agreed on the work to be done and he said he'd contact me to set up an appointment this week. I didn't hear back from them until last night when Kyle called and left a message that they would be out today to do the work sometime in the afternoon. I was a little miffed at the lack of notice or time frame so I called the office this morning. Long story short I ended up on the phone with Kyle and he said they would call me when they were about an hour away from my house maybe between 2-3pm. He said if it got too late though that they wouldn't be able to do the job because it would be dark, so they planned on being here. He just called now at 3:30pm to say they were an hour away. He said the guys were willing to come out and do the job even though it might be dark by the time they get here! I told him not to bother. Honestly I'm unhappy with the whole process from them not calling ahead to make an appointment with me to then not showing up at a reasonable time to get the job done and me wasting all of that time. I feel like they shoved my job in and didn't really plan for it.

We had 3 companies come out and quote rain gutters for the backyard. We were having issues with water getting into the house because we did not have proper drainage. Rain Away was in the middle for pricing. They were first with the correct suggestion on how to fix our problem. The other 2 companies suggested way more work that we did not need done. We scheduled an appointment and their workers came out on time. (A huge plus). They performed the work and we are very pleased. The guys were nice, honest and cleaned up everything. One of the drain spurts was leaking. We called them out a couple of months later and they fixed it with no hassle. I would definitely recommend this company. Thanks Rain Away! You sure kept the rain away from us!

They were very professional and provided good service. A person came out and gave me an estimate. I liked them a lot.

Kyle came over on a Friday and discussed and walked the house with me. He told me they will reattach the gutters with longer nails/spikes and make sure they will have the proper pitch so they drain. He said his guys could come on the following Monday. He quoted a price of $300.00. Monday came and his crew was on time. They worked for about an hour and were finished. I walked the house and it all looked good. They cleaned out the gutters and spiked them in as discussed. I forgot that I had a 10% discount coupon for being an Angie's list member. I gave it to the worker and asked if we can take $30 off the bill. He had me call Kyle, whom I spoke to for a minute but his cell cut out. He had me call someone else but I got voice mail. So I wrote them a check for $30 less and gave them the coupon. I told them to have Kyle call me if there was problem. I didn't hear back so I guess it was fine.

Kyle arrived right on time for our appointment. He was professional, friendly and provided an estimate which was reasonable. Installation was scheduled for a couple of days later. A three man crew arrived shortly after the promised time. They apologized for being slightly late and explained their prior job had been some distance away and traffic had been heavy. They went right to work and had completed everything in about an hour. The workmanship was first class and everything looks great.

I called for an estimate, Mr Ronquillo came out the next day. I thought the estimate was reas nable. I have a busy schedule , he was able to work aroud it. His workers came on time ,and did a nice job. Yes I would recomend Rain Away to any one who needs gutters. Thank You !

They came on time, did a good job and came within their estimate. Their price was reasonable and fair; the estimator was professional and showed up on time. They called and wanted to come earlier on the day of installation so that worked out perfectly. They did an excellent job when they came out and were timely. I give them all A's and will use them again in the future.

We were referred to this company by our roofer, Specialty Roofing. From the estimate through the installation all was done very honestly, professionally and efficiently. An honest estimate was given and shortly thereafter the installation was done . The installers were very efficient, friendly and worked neatly. We have had our new system over a year now and it works very well -- a great improvement over our old system. We highly recommend this company.

While having my roof replaced, I figured it was time to replace my leaky gutter. At the time I was going to have this job performed, I couldn't find a gutter company with a spotless record on Angie's List, so I asked my roofer for a referral and he recommended Rain Away. The really cool feature of this company is that they use a seamless gutter. They have a machine in their van that they use to make the gutter right there on the spot! It has rained quite a bit since the installation and there has been no problem with the gutter or downspout.

Courteous salesperson, quick and clean crew. There are a few imperfections but nothing I can't live with. There are tons of companies out there who do rain gutters (I think I met with most of them). These guys are honest and fair. I would definitely use them again.

Kyle Mayer showed up on-time, was courteous and prompt. Had a great selection of seamless rain gutters that matched my house colors well. Scheduled for the work to be done and was done quickly. Old rain gutters were removed from the site.

This is the second time I've used this company and overall I am very pleased. They came out to do an estimate on a Monday and returned the next day to install. Fast! Their prices seem fair and they are very accommodating -- I only dealt with them over the phone this time and everything was completed while I was at work. They are prompt, professional and honest.

We bought our house in October 2010. It was built in 1989 and had never had rain gutters. The water coming off the roof was a problem, so we decided to have rain gutters installed. The estimator was very helpful in determining what we needed. He offered a discount because we live close to their shop. The installers were very professional and did an excellent job. I decided on a last minute color change on the downspouts to better match the house color. They picked up the new pieces and made the change with no hassle. It hasn't rained yet, but I'm not anticipating any problems.

They gave me an estimate on the phone, came out the next day and gave me a quote that was in the estimate ballpark. Arrived early on install day, their employee's knew how to be around horses, put up everything quickly, cleaned up after themselves and were really courteous. Color match is great and after an entire spring and summer of horse shenanigans the gutters are holding up well.

I decided, based on price, to go ahead and use this company. Once the decision was made, I called to schedule the appointment, confirm the size/color of the new gutters, and arranged a work date. They arrived on the scheduled date, put up the new gutters, and they look great!

This was a very small job, 28 feet of gutter for a patio cover. All the other companies I called would have a good price but then say they had minimum job price which was double the estimate. It seemed my job was too small for them to be bothered. When I called Rain Away they had no minimum. We scheduled an appointment and sure enough the price was half the other companies. They had a cancellation and wound up doing the work the next day. They showed up and a short time later they were done. The results looks great. I liked they had a lot of colors to choose from and the color I picked wound up to match exactly. The job could not have gone any better.

It went not brilliantly, but they fixed it, and I'd hire them again. I called this company off the Angie's List reviews and the Owner came out a few days later and gave us an estimate on the spot. He was the most responsive and prompt of the 3 Angie's List companies we called for a bid, and it seemed a fair charge, so we hired them. The crew came to our house, sans the original estimator/owner, a week and a half (or so) later. They showed up on time. Everything was fine as they got to work so my husband and I continued our own work inside the house. An hour or two later when we came outside to check on things we saw that the men on the roof were creating quite a mess of our yard and gravel - they were throwing the dark debris from inside the gutters off the roof instead of bagging them all, and so I yelled up and requested that they please use a bucket or something. They then intermittently used a black trash bag and threw dirt off the roof. Then I came out another hour or two later and saw they were packed up and ready to leave. I made mention of how the gutters didn't look particularly clean, though pitched and repaired (there was obvious dirt still up there). They said the water was turned off at the hose bib so they couldn't rinse the gutters out - a large part of cleaning them - but neglected to tell us until they were packed up and leaving, which frustrated me because the water was on - they just needed to ask me. So, although they had worked for many hours, and I have no doubt the scope of the job may have been more than they anticipated, I was intent on making sure I got what I was promised, especially given the mess created, so I made them unload their vehicle and go back up to rinse the gutters out. Which to their credit, they did. They could not, however, clean the gravel of course. Because the job was "fully" done, though messily, and I knew it was a lot of work, I did not call to complain and paid in full as I believed they did end up completing the work that was promised and I couldn't be bothered with causing an issue. However, my mother came into town weeks later and said as she drove up the street she noticed a big black trash bag on the roof, and so I called Rain Away immediately and really spilled my guts about my displeasure with the experience. The owner called me back right away and several times after to apologize profusely and to see what he could do. He sent over two guys a few days later to look over the job and make sure it was done 100%, as well as to reclaim the trash bag. He was very very professional and said that he wished I would have called him that day while it was happening so that he could have assisted in making sure it was done right. I agree that I should have done that, and accept partial blame. So to evaluate the company, I split the difference in the worker's professionalism, a "C", and the owner's, an "A." And that's how I arrived at the "B" rating. I would probably hire this company again, truly believing that my house was, as he said, a one time fluke during a very busy time (it was pouring in LA and they were in very high demand). Their work has also held up and we've had no gutter leaks or issues since they fixed them (and they were in quite a bit of disrepair before we hired them). However, I just felt I needed to do Angie's List justice and give you the whole story from start to finish. I do believe this is a good company, just make sure you call if you have any issues!

Kyle Mayer, the Sales Manager, was prompt and courteous in providing a proposal for the work. I told him that eventually I wanted to add barrels to collect rainwater, and was concerned about cutting into my lovely new downspouts to install them. Kyle assure me that he would return to consult on that later project, although there was nothing in writing. Then his crew did a nice job of fabricating, installing and screening all the gutters. (Our house had none.) At one point I noticed they were using aluminum-colored "nails" to attach the bracing onto the blue gutters. I expressed my displeasure to the workers, then called and left a message with Kyle. They then went around and painted the "nails" (I have no idea if that is what they are called) to exactly match the gutters. They did everything that the contract called for and we are very pleased with the results. Unfortunately, when I went to put in our first rain barrel and called Kyle for help/advise, he did not come through as he promised. I left several messages on his voice mail and with office staff, and he finally did return one of my phone calls. We talked and again he said he would call again next time he was working in the area, and arrange a time to drop by and look at the first system we had bought, as far as installing it into the downspout. I was not expecting work for free, was quite clear that I would be happy to pay for any labor involved. But I never heard from him again. With the help of my neighbor, bless his heart, I eventually got the collector installed into the downspout, which was a huge hassle. I believe that someone with gutter experience could have been very helpful, and I would have been happy to pay for the help, but wasn't ever given the opportunity. Too bad. Consequently, despite our nice, reasonably-priced gutters, I would not hire or recommend Rain Away again.

I called Rain Away for an estimate and they sent someone out immediately and I had an estimate emailed to me within 2 days. I needed to paint the downspout the same color as my house so they came out within a week and fashioned the several cornered downspout from galvanized steel and left if for me. I called that day to ask them to call to explain how the pieces were to fit together-instead they physically sent someone out to check-amazing customer service. I finished painting the pieces on a Friday, called, and they were out Monday to install. I anticipated that I was then going to need to paint whatever fasteners they were going to use to secure the downspout-not so with Rain Away. They cleverly used the pieces of the old (painted) downspout to fashion the fasteners so that they matched! No more work for me. Excellent workmanship, materials, price, and customer service!!
