 + -1 moreThey have the WORST customer service I've ever experienced. Blue Ridge removed my shower steam unit to be sent in for service. After a month of waiting we continued to call and was told that due to CoVid, Thermasol was backlogged. Every week we were told the same thing for 2.5 months. I finally called Thermasol and found the unit had NEVER been sent back. They continued to lie. They never, ever returned our calls or gave the status updates calls they promised us. George and Megan are the least professional people I've ever seen. Trust all these negative reviews, I wish I had seen them first. Pick literally anyone else as Blue Ridge plumbing with completely drop the ball and provide the WORST service imaginable.
Description of Work: Thermasol Steam unit serviced/sent it.

drain cleaning, plumbing, water heater repair
 + 1 moreManny was here on time, he's professional, honest and cleans up afterwards. We have used Blue Ridge Plumbing for 10 years and keep calling on them when we have plumbing problems. We usually make an appointment to have the drain cleaned, but the months got away from us this time. Blue Ridge will more than likely do the replacement work for the pipes when we are ready to have this done. My husband and I highly recommend Blue Ridge Plumbing.
Description of Work: Drain backed up on a Sunday, Labor Day Weekend. We expected to pay for weekend/holiday rates and felt $157.00 was well worth the work. Manny used a snake to clear our drain.

 + -1 moreThe plumber they sent, Lazaro, was wonderful. He did a fantastic job. I will hire him forever and a day. I did feel however that Blue Ridge was very, very expensive. I guess when someone spends tens of thousands of dollars, I thought that certain breaks would be given. They are just enormously expensive and their excuses for being expensive are intolerable. I am not a big fan of them. If Lazoro would ever leave that company, I would hire him again in two seconds. The work was done properly. The communications with their main office was difficult. They didn't call to let me know if there was a delay in coming out, or if they wouldn't be able to come out at all that day. They said that they were so expensive because they have a support office but yet I would go there and be waiting for the plumber and he would never come. Again, the quality of the plumbing was very good.
Description of Work: Blue Ridge sent a plumber to do the plumbing for two new bathrooms and a kitchen. They installing the sinks, toilets, showers and tubs.

 + -1 moreThey are always late, or don't show up. They don't respond for emergency calls in the time specified. They have not returned an item of mine that I was told I'd receive 4 days ago. They don't believe that 60 degrees in a child's bedroom is an emergency. They want me to pay for an ''inspection'' of another house. They were never asked to ''inspect'' and furthermore, it is not an ''inspection''. My other inspections are a) type written and b) include an estimate. Blue Ridge wants $160 for telling me that the heating and air conditioning work. Their attitude is terrible and they don't seem to have any idea what is going on in their company.
Description of Work: They didn't show up at all for the first appt & were 45 mins late for the one the following day. They came to inspect my house for a burning smell. They didn't find a source, but found that all 4 furnaces needed new filters and that one needed to have a leak fixed. I was told he needed the part and would return to repair, which he didn't do until 4 days later. The day following the repair, I awoke to find the furnace he repaired was not working, it was 59 deg. In my kitchen. Their answering machine says they call within 15 mins, it took almost an hour, & they didn't arrive to service it for over 3 hours. Also, they claim that this was a coincidence, that this failure had nothing to do with the service performed, but this was the first time my heating failed since I moved in 2 years ago. I also now have another furnace that is not working in my 2 children's room. The company doesn't deem it an emergency that it is 60 degs in my daughters' rooms & won't come until tomorrow.

 + -1 moreGEORGE AND HIS CREW ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ALWAYS ON TIME. THEY ALWAYS LEAVE THEIR WORKSITE CLEAN. THEY DO NOT NEED TO BE MICRO MANAGED. I WOULD CALL THEM FIRST FOR ANY OF MY PLUMBING NEEDS!
Description of Work: BLUE RIDGE REPLACED A BROKEN WATER HEATER. ADDED EARTHQUAKE SHUT OFF FOR GAS.
