About us

Established in 1959, Scott Heavy Movers Inc. of Sacramento has moved houses, buildings, heavy equipment, bridges and various multi-ton objects over every kind of terrain in California and Nevada. We have also subcontracted our services to assist heavy movers in states across the nation. Our company has undertaken many of the major and most publicized heavy moving jobs in the region, including the moving of scores of historic buildings. Our customers benefit from the pride of heavy movers whose business bears their name and the cumulative experience of four Scott family generations. In the words of the late Charley Scott: "No one ever wrote a book about house moving. It's learned by experience."

Services we offer

We raise buildings, Move buildings, shore up structures, We hold buildings in place for foundation repair. We have done the work in the bay area from the earthquake, raised the buildings damaged from hurricane Katrina, and the houses in New York damaged from Hurricane Sandy. We have the knowledge and expertise to move everything from historical buildings, new construction, commercial property, bridges, and more.

Services we don't offer

We do not offer the work required to repair foundations. We are more than happy to work in concert with your trusted foundation contractor.
